We especially enjoyed our time there as we brought along our own camping table and chairs, which made the balcony experience even more enjoyable.
Parking was a breeze — we could park our car right in front of our room, which made unloading luggage super convenient. The on-site café also offered a good variety of food and drinks, whether you’re after a light snack or a satisfying meal.
Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway in Kundasang!"

"The location is perfect and the check in/ out process is very smooth. There’s only one problem that annoyed us was the doors and the windows in our room caused a very loud noise whenever strong wind outside. Perhaps we stayed in Level 7, lower level might won’t face this kind of noises I think? But overall is good for the cleanliness. The room environment also good since they refurbished their hotel. The view from our room are superb!"

"Arriving at 11.15am i was asked to pay a surcharge of 20RMB per hour if i wanted access to my room before official check-in time of 2pm. The hotel appeared empty.
The rooms are clean with nice full height windows. There is bottled water, kettle, and 2 t-bags.
There is no TV, no fridge, and no blankets, though blankets are available for an extra charge (the hotel is at an altitude of approx 1,200m, so its chilly in the evenings).
Staff didn't speak Rnglish, but with Google Translate they did help arrange a taxi back to KK.
There is no restaurant or eating options until you return to the main road - 1.6 kms away uphill.
Overall, staff were distant but helpful when approached. I wouldn't stay there again."

"A small stop in mountain near by the Kinabalu mountain. Very simple hotel, old style.
Our night was a bit noisy due to rain, neighbours speaking, some karaoke music somewhere and some baby dogs crying during night. Not our best night during our trip in Malaysia. Small water leak from roof also due to the rain.
The breakfast is very simple, and they were not able to cook eggs because sold out... Need to buy some stuff to the small shop like milk etc for our kids.. disappointed on that point.
It's ok for one night but we would not do it again."

"My partner and I had a lovely 1N stay in the Hill Lodge. The experience of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount K made the entire trip worthwhile! The buffet breakfast was also excellent and a great start to the morning. We had requested a small birthday effort. While nothing was prepared, we don't blame the staff at all for any potential oversight (we're definitely happy to pay for additional charges, too!). Our only minor suggestion for future guests is that it would be great to be informed at c/in if a special request cannot be accommodated. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it for the incredible mountain scenery!"

"The hotel is a very beautiful and charming place.
I booked this room mainly because can see the stunning Golden Mountain view directly at dawn.
It gets quite cold at night, and the mornings are pleasantly cool.
The restaurant food is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The only downsides are that there are a few insects at the mountaintop, which is understandable, and the soundproofing of the room isn’t great—after 10 p.m., noise from people outside can still be heard clearly."

FFukai MoriBest spot ever if you want to catch a perfect view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning. Best time is from 6am - 8am. WVF also sediakan us breakfast, setanding dgn harga bayaran tapi kenyang dan sedap.
The place so peaceful, senyap sambil dgr bunyi air terjun. Jalan menuju ke WVF dihujung jalan hampir ke farmstay agak ke dalam dan susur jalan berbukit, pls extra be careful.
Di WVF ada kedai runcit yang serba lengkap ala2 spt watsons hahaha & they also ada sediakan add-on steambot RM25/pax.
Harga byrn bilik setanding dgn accommodation & breakfast. Kakak2 receptionist sangat baik dan murah dgn senyuman. 😍

UUsuário convidadoThe view of Mt Kinabalu from our room was spectacular. The hotel service is good, hotel staff allowed us to check in early. However, that’s pretty much it. The hotel toilet is quite dirty, water in the shower and sink is brownish/ yellowish, and the whole hotel feels very dated and stuck in the 1990s. The road condition towards the hotel is horrendous, in fact the road condition in most parts of Kundasang is terrible. The government really needs to do something about boosting its tourism economy. It is such a beautiful state, it’s a shame that not much love has been given by the government to make it more tourist friendly.

YYee Wei VOOFirstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking.
Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage.
Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.
