Didn’t get the room with sea view this time round. Housekeeping is earlier but they did not replace the towels after taking the used ones including bath mat. Luckily I was travelling alone so there’s another set of towels in the bathroom.

We’ve been regular repeat visitors to Pelangi Beach Resort since the early 1990s, when we used to bring our children. We make a point of driving to other new resorts in Langkawi whenever they pop up.. But nothing compares to Pelangi!! The beautifully landscaped, wooden chalet concept is like living in a village but with fantastic resort facilities. Staff are super helpful, friendly and hard-working. They always make us feel like we’re returning to see close family. We enjoyed the food buffets in the different restaurants, as well as the entertainment (Pelangi Lounge and Pelangi Grill). Not to mention the beautiful stretch of Pantai Cenang alongside the resort. Can’t rate Pelangi high enough, whether it’s for families or couples.

Had the best stay of our lives right here at Ritz Carlton! The entry level room is huge! We love everything about the room! The bathtub is absolutely huge. His and her sinks. Huge shower area as well. The resort itself is huge. Every restaurant is situated at its own building. Buggy services are available around the clock. Though wait time varies. The service from everybody is excellent. You will feel well taken care of. There is also ample privacy especially if you get their villa. Would definitely love to come back here again!

A special mention goes to Chef Mahesh Singh Rawat, the Indian Sous Chef, who went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements. His thoughtful gesture of making delicious tea for my family was truly appreciated and added a warm touch to our stay. My family and I had an amazing time at the resort, enjoying the various amenities and the picturesque surroundings. We created some wonderful memories together that we will cherish forever. The hotel is some distance away from the F&B / eateries outside. Needed to book a cab if we wanted to eat out. However the overall environment / ambiance of the resort is very relaxing, private beach feels utterly exclusive. Staffs were helpful too, could reach them via what’s app chat which they’d reply almost instantly. Buggy service was also always on time.

For the price paid, the value wasn't as aligned. The resort is considered quite new but just only a few years, the sink is already cracked, the door of the toilet is already not working well.. it's not well maintained. Rooms are very small and no view at all.. luckily they noticed my comment on wanting a room that is away from the loud music at the pool side.. we got the corner room. The sound proofing is very bad as well.. we can hear practically everything from outside.. we have neighbours that is coming in and out of the room all night and we keep hearing talking, baby crying, door opening and closing.. all night till late.. quite annoying. No cup for brushing teeth.. the only beautiful part is the pool but facilities are not well maintained as well.
