We were at the hotel at the end of April 2023. We arrived for the weekend for 2 days. In its price category, the hotel is just 🔥🔥🔥. We were a lot where we were. Girls on the resepschen clever. In the hotel cleanliness and order, food is just excellent meat, chicken, boilers, fish red on grill, creamy sauce, etc. It is on the first shore, the beach is good. In general, I advise, every day in the hotel there is animation and day and evening. Of course, if you go here for 10 days I don't know, somebody might seem bored, but people have rested a full hotel and everyone is happy. In Sneak bar a very delicious pizza, guisele, nagits, fries, shaurma. Beer, cocktails, drinks, etc. all day for a flight. Ice cream is qualitative and delicious. We will come again when possible 🤞🏼

I would probably rate this 3-stars based on the areas where this resort falls unnecessarily short, but the overall food quality and the attitude of the staff members merits another star. For the positives, as many reviewers have stated, the atmosphere, set among about a billion older trees (they're even numbered), is relaxing. The 5+ minute walk to the beach is nice, with the road and sidewalk actually built around many of the old trees. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food selection is good, and the preparation is definitely above average. The Tchibo coffee bar in the middle of the park was very nice. The negatives were disappointing and generally unnecessary. We were initially shown a room (M-6) with two single beds. When we initially asked for a room with a full size bed, we were told that the beds could be pushed together. On our second request, we were moved to room M-16, which was better. Better, but old (the main building is old and feels old). I have read that the 'annex' building is newer - it looks it on the outside. Our room was conveniently located, a short walk down one flight of stairs to the lobby bar and main restaurant - down two flights to the spa. A couple disappointments: the bathroom door didn't latch. The drinks in the fridge/minibar were never replenished. While the shower wasn't bad, the shower head had some issues, and the hot water temperature fluctuated. The evening 'entertainment' was well below average. ”Live music” on Sunday consisted of a single singer basically doing Karaoke. He wasn't bad, but it was below the quality of other resorts Other nights, including their ”Miss Armas” competition we're pretty forgettable. Bottled mineral water was not carried. They ran out of things (like ayran) at thr bars. The beach bar and snack bar seemed like hastily assembled substitutes (when compared with other resorts). The beach was rocky whereas that on the adjacent Nural resort (admittedly more expensive) was largely cleared of rocks and sandy. The ”beer house” near the Tchibo coffee bar was never open - apparently closed for the season. The sheet we were provided with times said ”ultra all inclusive”. We have been to both all inclusive and ultra all inclusive. This was definitely not ultra. Sorry for the long list. We gave this 4 stars because of the positives. The disappointments are submitted for management review and for future guests to set their expectations. We are happy that we went - it was a relaxing five days - but we are unlikely to return.

We stayed in a ground floor room with balcony. There wasn't much of a view other than greenery and the path way was used by the staff. But it didn't bother us as we very rarely sat out. The room itself was very spacious with a double and single bed, a TV and fridge that was stocked daily with bottles of water. Air conditioning was good but only works while the patio doors are closed and the hotel key card is in the electric slot. There was a large bathroom with toilet, a powerful shower, hairdryer and shaving point. The fixtures and fittings were a bit tired looking and could probably do with updating. But all worked well overall. The food was ok. If you are a fussy eater, you might struggle to find something to eat. Also, none of the food is labelled, so it is anyone's guess as to what it is you are eating. We didn't starve, but felt the food was quite limited and very repetitive. Across the way from the restaurant, there is a hut where at breakfast, you can get fresh pancakes, omlettes, fried eggs. Next door is also a hut that serve gozlemes (pancakes filled with potato or cheese). There are a number of coffee machines, fruit teas and juices. On day 4 I discovered there was a tea urn that had something resembling English tea, but is very strong. The entertainment was on twice in the week. It was Turkish night on Saturday which we really did enjoy. There was also entertainment on Tuesday which we missed due to going on an excursion. The pool, you get the usual suspects that put their towels down at the crack of dawn but there appear to be plenty of sun loungers. There is a slide (although the water that runs on it, get switched off at certain times of the day, which makes it unusable). There is a pool bar where you get your drinks throughout the day/night. Alcoholic drinks are very limited on the all inclusive. One type of beer (tuborg), red/white wine, vodka or gin. Soft drinks were soda water, pepsi, lemonade or fizzy orange. After 10pm there is an option to buy your drinks which I am guessing are branded, but not too sure. The town centre is a 20 min walk away with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars. Not too sure how far the nearest beach is but there is a mini bus that takes you to both the town centre or local beach free of charge. The hotel arrange excursions. We only did the land of legends night show which was very good. Wifi is chargeable in the rooms. If you try the WiFi around the reception area or pool, it is extremely slow. There are no room safes, you can hire one at a charge. These are located in the reception area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They all worked extremely hard and very long hours to keep the hotel clean and tidy at all times. Even when they encountered rude customers, they still managed to keep a smile on their face. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday at the grand viking hotel. The positives for this hotel, out weigh the negatives.

The best friendly hotel in kemer, the best owner with staf and family make you feel always very welcome, very clean nice rooms and wounderful cleanings ladies also the pool area is perfect clean, breakfast is nice with new dishes every day, can absolutely recommend this hotel for a 100% relaxed holiday 🤩👌

We stayed here as three friends one night. Staff was kind. The hotel was beautiful in terms of price-performance. The cars near the beach of the belt, the cars nearby by car could park their cars in the nearby municipal park. The rooms and walls were clean. The bathroom and shower were good.

If you prefer a place for your summer holiday which is not too big, basically at the city center, with direct access to its own beach, very well maintained, clean with helpful, kind but not intrusive staff, this is the place to go. I have been travelling around the world and good hotels can be found everywhere. So what specifically makes this hotel among the good ones?! I already mentioned some of the traits in my first sentence. Still, it is worth highlighting that this hotel is maintained daily. This means, people are fixing thing continuously. That is rare. It is very clean and the staff makes it stays clean throughout day. Another pretty amazing thing was a smooth operation and management of hotel staff specially the one in the kitchen and dinning hall. The moment you turn your had the table behind is cleaned and ready to be used by another guest. The waiters and supervisors are there if you need them. Otherwise they are absolutely kind and noninvasive. The supervisors quietly monitor the process, help where needed and give orders almost without being noticed. The food was excellent if you like lots of Turkish dishes, lots of fresh vegetables, salads, fruits like we did. Every nigh, the hotel offers a special meal prepared in addition to the regular offer. It may also be decisive for you to know that English is spoken in this hotel, guest are from different countries (not only Russia) and music is variety of local an international pop.

We rested in the hotel for 3 nights and we are glad that we did not stay longer. The hotel is more likely to be 3 * for the following reasons: 1. Employees. From the beginning, the security guard would not let me into the hotel to check in, because I did not bring a suitcase and bracelet when I came, which is simply impossible in his world. He only speaks Turkish, and we have no way to solve this problem until some people who speak English and Turkish help. In addition, shortly after registration, we were caught by a barker in the local Turkish bath, Ruslan or Rustem. Just like bath towels, he didn't give passes for all stay days. Once we had to go to the Turkish bath with him because they provided beach towels and he didn't give it to us until we booked the Turkish bath. When we had decided that it was best to lie on our own towels, he condescended to give us a hotel room. Then, at each meeting, he asked when we came and made a comment on the last day, such as ”Why did you go there with so little money?” A very disgusting type. After talking with him, you won’t Want any hammam. Next: Maid. Our door always had a ”Do Not Disturb” label, but that didn't stop them from knocking 3 times and breaking into our room twice, once in the afternoon and once at 9am. We slept both times and were very awake. 2. Food. Because there is a covid buffet with food delivery. Not only is the food objectively not very tasty, but you still have to wait in line in front of each ”counter”. As a result, you stand in 2-3 queues for each meal, holding a plate, just like rations. The alcohol is divided into two halves and poured into small glasses, so you must often go to the bar to line up. She asked for a full glass of wine, and the bartender murmured a few words about it, but she didn't ask much. 3. Entertainment. After 21:00, there will be live music performances every night. Parties over 50 years old. 4. The beach. The beach is very good, you can always find sunbeds, and the sea is clean and warm. The beach bar charges. In a word: they don't really care about service and hospitality. Otherwise, for money, a hotel is like a hotel. But we will not go there again.

EMPLACEMENT : Cadre et vue magnifique. Ambiance familiale et calme. RÉCEPTION : Personne pour nous accueillir à la réception ( il a fallu que j'appelle plusieurs fois au téléphone), les toilettes de la chambre étaient littéralement souillées lors de notre arrivée. SERVICE DE CHAMBRE : - ATTENTION : Pas de ménage quotidien - pas de ravitaillement en savon, papier toilette … (il faut réclamer à chaque fois et ce n’est pas fait systématiquement) - Pas de drap sur les lits (juste un couvre lit épais et trop petit pour 2 personnes), nous avons dû les demander plusieurs jours de suite pour en avoir même s'il ont été retirés le lendemain. REPAS : - Petit-déjeuner : plutôt correct bien que peu varié et pas les mêmes choix en fonction de l'heure d'arrivée. Le café est de moindre qualité. - Demi-pension : Le dîner est servi entre 18h et 19h30 sur présentation de votre sésame (bracelet rouge). Les repas sont plutôt très bons (BRAVO au cuisinier !) mais le service n’est pas à la hauteur =＞ Tous les plats sont servis en même temps ; attendez-vous donc à manger un plat froid et un dessert chaud. Refus de nous servir de l’eau du robinet sous 40°, il faut acheter leurs bouteilles ou se déshydrater. PLAGE : L’hôtel annonce un service de navette pour vous emmener à la plage, sachez que les places sont limitées et qu’il n’y a que 2 navettes par jour à 10h et à 12h30 ainsi qu’un seul retour à 17h30. Les équipements sur la plage (lit de plage, salon, parasols) sont vétustes voire détériorés, non nettoyés. Certains sont payants à 40€ la journée. RANCH : L’état des chevaux fait vraiment mal au cœur, ils semblent amaigris, ne sont pas brossés et pas d’eau dans leur box. Je ne vous parle pas de l’organisation lorsque vous réservez une prestation…. On vous propose toutefois la possibilité d’acheter des pommes pour nourrir les chevaux ! PERSONNEL : Communication impossible sauf lorsque vous souhaitez acheter une prestation ou leurs produits sur leur carte. Il semble que les employés de cet hôtel n’ont pas le droit de communiquer avec la clientèle lorsque l’on a une question ou une réclamation. La communication fut donc très compliquée et aucune écoute de leurs clients. Notre séjour de 6 nuits nous a déçu car le service de cet hôtel pourtant si beau n’est pas à la hauteur de la prestation vendue.
