"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."

"Traveling to Xiahe, Gannan, I had a wonderfully gentle and healing experience at Baizong Yueke Homestay. The homestay boasts an excellent location, offering a close-up view of the entire Labrang Monastery. Stepping out, you're right on the prayer wheel path; you can listen to Buddhist chants in the morning and watch the golden roofs at dusk. The rooms are simply decorated and comfortable, meticulously clean, and equipped with excellent facilities, ensuring maximum comfort for a high-altitude stay. What's most commendable is the owner's warm and genuine hospitality; they were always responsive and provided meticulous care throughout our stay, alleviating many concerns about high-altitude travel. There's no excessive marketing, just sincere guest service. It was a stable and warm haven during our busy journey. This trip was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

"The homestay is newly opened, the boss is warm, the parking in the yard of the accommodation can be parked, it is very convenient, the Sichuan restaurant at the entrance of the homestay alley tastes good, recommended, 10 minutes drive from Labrang Temple. "Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason."

"During the Gannan parent-child tour during May 1st, I chose this homestay. The owner is a kind and friendly Tibetan family. It is said that the homestay has just been renovated and we are fortunate to be the first guest family to experience it. Location: In a small alley in the center of Labrang Town, there is a parking space at the door. The alley is the main road in the town, with a rich commercial body. The homeowner's family lives next door and it is very convenient to communicate. Facilities: The fixed edge suite has floor heating in the whole house, and there is no temperature concern during the May Day holiday. The bathroom is equipped with an electric water heater, and the water volume is a little smaller, but it is enough to meet the needs of washing. The rest of the supporting facilities are basically available, such as electric kettle, hair dryer, tea set, etc. Hygienic: The overall sanitary conditions are good, disposable towels are provided, and there is no obvious dust in the room. Service: A very enthusiastic family, take the initiative to help carry luggage after arriving, and there is a ceremony to offer Hada at the door, making people feel at home. The store also took the initiative to take us to make Tibetan snacks. During the period, the demand for facilities was responded promptly. The next day's breakfast had their own porridge, steamed buns, eggs and side dishes. When I parted, the whole family went out to see me off, which made people feel very warm."
