"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."

"Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea. We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread. We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome. The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy. The bathroom has hot water. You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room. We always saw them cleaning the common areas. The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family. I will recommend them to all my friends. Really recommended!"

The location of the homestay is excellent, within walking distance to business districts and attractions, and it is very convenient to travel and eat. The whole house was cleaned spotlessly, the bathroom was separated from wet and dry without smell, and the toiletries were all available. The landlord is gentle and caring, and there is a problem in seconds. The overall quiet and not noisy, the price is far more than the surrounding hotels, has been recommended to friends, come back to the local must stay!"

"Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason."

"Eu realmente amo este B&B! É o B&B mais limpo e melhor em que já fiquei durante minha estadia em Gannan! A localização também é ótima, bem perto do Mosteiro de Labrang, a uma curta distância a pé. O proprietário é muito acolhedor e mantém a casa impecável! É uma casa tibetana típica, e a cama é tão confortável! Este B&B foi o melhor lugar em que já dormi em Gannan!"
