"Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea.
We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread.
We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome.
The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean.
The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy.
The bathroom has hot water.
You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room.
We always saw them cleaning the common areas.
The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family.
I will recommend them to all my friends.
Really recommended!"

"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay.
The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."

"超推薦！來夏河縣這邊我覺得這家民宿是最好的！
房間設施都很齊全而且是全屋智能。智能馬桶，可以設定温度的花灑，吹風機，一次性用品（刮鬍刀牙刷還有一次性馬桶墊之類的）真的很齊全！而且晚上真的很暖和甚至有些熱。房間我沒有拍照片，和店家展示的照片是一樣的。
床單被罩乾淨整潔，房間衞生也很乾凈，乾濕分離。
店家超級熱情！人超好！下雨天出門吃飯還會拿傘給我，晚上怕我們打不到車，特地打電話説如果打不到車就來接我們，好感動🥹店家推薦的那個火鍋店也很好吃推薦推薦（忘記名字了，想吃可以問一下店家）！羊肉牛肉都非常新鮮！吃多了也不會感覺油膩的那種！
總之！放心大膽的來吧！這邊離拉卜楞也挺近的，走路不行，得開車～"

"Eu realmente amo este B&B! É o B&B mais limpo e melhor em que já fiquei durante minha estadia em Gannan! A localização também é ótima, bem perto do Mosteiro de Labrang, a uma curta distância a pé. O proprietário é muito acolhedor e mantém a casa impecável! É uma casa tibetana típica, e a cama é tão confortável! Este B&B foi o melhor lugar em que já dormi em Gannan!"

"The little house was nice and with the view towards the grassland . The problem is - it was very cold and the heater they gave us couldn’t help. It was too small. The stuff is very friendly and as it was so cold during the breakfast in the dining room they offered me to eat in their private room where was worm. I am very thankful for that."

There were very good mountains for long hikes right behind the house and the views from the top of the mountain were very good. The house was also a medium walk away from the Labrang monastery and we found it very calming to get up early to spin the prayer wheels there. We absolutely recommend this beautiful house and helpful hosts for others.

QQiyiguo1125The guesthouse boasts a very artistic decor, which makes perfect sense as the owners are both university art teachers. The hosts are incredibly welcoming; they offered homemade yak yogurt as a welcome treat and even gave us small soaps as a parting gift. If you're driving, it's best to contact the owners in advance, as the guesthouse is nestled quite deep within a small mountain village. You can't drive directly to it; cars need to be parked on the road opposite the village, and a staff member from the guesthouse will come to pick you up on an electric tricycle. The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can even ask the hostess to light a ******* incense stick for you. In the evening, guests from different places gathered in the courtyard to chat, and it felt just like a group of old friends catching up. Breakfast consisted of a few simple, home-style dishes, but the auntie's cooking was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin and white rice porridge, in particular, was incredibly smooth and creamy – I had several bowls!

EEduardo112We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Shangu. Not only is the guesthouse conveniently located near the monasterybut the hosting family also taught us so much about ******* culture. They generously shared their time, traditions, and delicious cuisine—things we would never have experienced anywhere else. They were always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. And all the food we ate (a lot) was genuinely local, delicious and had the warmth of homemade food.
Furthermore, the guesthouse itself was absolutely lovely. The common spaces were very tasteful and inviting, and the rooms were clean, well-designed and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful sleep, and no problems whatsoever.
We will never forget these few days at Shangu guesthouse, and our lovely moments with its family. This stay will remain one of the most meaningful memories of our trip to China.

However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival.
The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

HHaloumaliao整體感覺還是挺不錯的，甘南自駕旅途中入住的第一家酒店，就在拉卜楞寺所在的地區，距離大概三公里吧，沒有在正街上，隔壁是一家很網紅的藏餐店。店家接待非常熱情，早上在二樓藏式房子露台吃着藏式早餐，還挺愜意。老闆特別熱情，願意給到各種有關旅途的建議，拉卜楞寺的觀景台就是他告訴我們的

UUsuário anônimoWe stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark.

UUsuário convidadoThe dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet.
The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked.
Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky.

UUsuário convidadoO hotel está atualmente a ser renovado, por isso todas as quartos do nosso nível estão a ser borradas, secas e amarradas.A sala cheirava muito forte de lixo.A chegada, havia um toalhete com sangue seco/booger apendrecido no banheiro. A casa de banho não tinha sabão, então tivemos que USAR gel de chuveiro para lavar as mãos.
