"The newly renovated house, the room size is large, the room facilities are very new, less than ten minutes walk from the Jiuhuashan Visitor Center, the location of the homestay is excellent. The only room I live in is semi-underground and uncomfortable. The reason may be that the road surface outside is lifted, and this homestay is formed by the road. In addition, the room is relatively tidal, and the water stains formed by too heavy moisture can be seen on the ground. The air conditioner was turned on for one night to dehumidify. In the morning, I felt that the cotton fabric on the bed was not sticky. There are also personnel training that should be paid attention to. It is not enough to ask the boss to have a good service attitude. After all, many times the staff is in contact with the guests. Because it is hot and there are more clothes to wash, there are two hangers in the room that are not enough. I want to borrow the iron stand outside the homestay (the side of the semi-underground wall) to dry the clothes. I asked the hotel staff if they can borrow it. The answer I got was no. I asked her where to dry it. It seems that I let go upstairs, because the local accent and language speed are fast, in short, I don't understand. I feel that the boss's enthusiasm has been diluted a lot at once. This is not my fault. It is very important to have the basic management of a store. To put it bluntly, it may affect the overall impression of the local service industry. Locals are not surprised, tourists from other places may come once in their lifetime, and the impressions of good and bad are on someone or something."

"We are very pleased with our last minute decision to stay one night at the foot of jiuhuashan. The hotel just recently opened but it beat our expectations. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed (it’s hard but we like the firmness), clean sheets, fluffy towels, free minibar, delicious breakfast and free and quick laundry!!! Highly recommend staying here. I’m willing to try other Atour hotels and I hope they are just as good."

What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. UUsuário convidadoA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The owner family and staff were right on the spot to solve any queries you may have including our special request to book private transport direct to the Jiuhuashan town up in the mountain site. Breakfast was nice and we liked the special Zen design of the hotel and thoughtful cultural elements that were weaved in. There is a lovely tea and sutra writing room which became a restful spot of our stay there. My spouse and I look forward to staying there again when we plan our future trip to Jiuhuashan. We didn't encounter any cigarette smell as we requested a non-smoking room and the overall Zen environment enhanced our cherished Buddhist pilgrimage trip.

YykchowThe location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily. The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods. High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.

Eu sou um viajante fácil e muito satisfeito com o hotel.Claro que você Pode andar por aí e procurar um hotel (há muitos hotéis !!!!!!), mas eu acho que se você pre-reservar você vai tornar sua vida mais fácil, especialmente se você tiver um bagagem. Ele planejou o itinerário para mim, e foi UMA viagem de caminhada Na natureza que visitou templos e paga respeito por TERRITÓLIO. Muitos restaurantes também!!!!!!!! Ele até me enviou para a estação de autocarro.Obrigado. Ele é um homem de Alma.Ele me chamou rapidamente quando me viu andando na ”direção errada” quando realmente queria visitar o templo ao lado do paragem de autocarro. Irmão de Sadhu

FFury.SakuraThe Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.
