"We stayed at the hotel only for 1 night and we believe it met the expectations. If you are looking for a place close to the border with Vietnam (walking distance), this is your place.
- Staff: Very nice and helpful people. We contacted them through WeChat in advance and they were very helpful in quick answering us;
- Room: Ok. This is an old building, with an old decor so don’t expect a 5 stars hotel room but it is spacious, with air conditioner and the bed sheets were clean.
- Location: Amazing, especially if you plan to cross the border to Vietnam. The hotel is 10min walking from to the main building.
If you are looking for a place to chill and relax, maybe you could find better options. However, if you are only looking for practical place to sleep for 1 night, it definitely does the job! 👌🏼"

"The hotel is located right at the border gate, making it extremely convenient for travelers like me departing in the evening for an early morning trip to Kunming the next day. The staff were exceptionally helpful—they ensured a swift check-in and even booked a taxi for us to Hekou Station early the following morning. Our room was clean.
A minor note: Due to the building’s layout, you’ll need to carry your luggage a short distance to the mezzanine floor, even though there’s an elevator. The elevator itself is also a bit slow."

"Excellent hotel at high standard as the best choice in Hekou. The location is a ten minutes’ drive from the border gate, but the view across the Red River compensates for the slight distance from downtown. The rooms are spacious and very well outfitted, beds are large and comfortable. Staff is friendly and forthcoming. Highlight is the very well appointed breakfast buffet which has many choices. I will visit again!"

"Impressive hotel but quiet.. Area around hotel dead. Not many shops open for dinner at around 7:30pm.
So had to take a taxi ¥18 to Hekou town.
Funny that construction activities still allowed at 11pm, could hear lorries and excavators in motion..
Breakfast, starts at 7am, was nice but no coffee or tea available. We could not enjoy much coz our taxi came acalling at 7:26am to take us to Hekou North train station."

YYulia.小妍Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower.
Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel.
Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!

UUsuário convidadoViveu no ano passado, por isso escolheu ficar PELA segunda vez, ou Como sempre, o estacionamento é tão Grande e conveniente. Mas a temperatura no verão é realmente Muito Alta. 42 graus fora do edifício. O que Precisa ser melhorado é que não há ar condicionado no edifício, calor fora, Sala de ar, calor de passagem, quarto de ar, esta sensação de calor e frio é incómoda, o resto é Muito bom!

這次在熱帶地區入住的這家觀景酒店，完全超出預期，絕對是寶藏級住宿選擇！
酒店的環境真的無可挑剔，被茂密的熱帶植被環繞，隨處可見盛放的樹 微風拂過還能聞到淡淡的花香，搭配清脆的鳥鳴，彷彿住進了天然氧吧，遠離了城市的喧囂，身心瞬間放鬆下來。衞生方面更是讓人安心，房間裏一塵不染，床品潔白柔軟沒有異味，衞生間、桌面、角落等細節處都打掃得乾乾淨淨，連露台的桌椅都沒有一絲灰塵，能感受到工作人員的用心。
最絕的還是景色！推開陽台門，映入眼簾的是成片的熱帶椰林，遠處還能望見碧藍的海岸線，清晨伴着日出醒來，傍晚看着夕陽把天空染成橘粉色，隨手一拍都是不用濾鏡的大片。不管是在房間露台喝茶，還是在酒店的觀景泳池休憩，滿眼都是治癒的熱帶風光，真的太愜意了！
地理位置也很加分，在窗外就能看見紅河，對面就能看見越南，周邊交通便利，出門就能感受熱帶風情的街道，吃遍當地特色美食。總之，無論是環境、衞生還是景色都無可挑剔，下次來熱帶旅行一定還會再住這裏！

UUsuário convidadoThe owner is super friendly even though she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Chinese. Once she understands what we want, she will try her best to serve. One member in our group was sick and the owner is very kind to give us ginger and honey when we ask.
The room is clean and quite large for two people. It's totally enough for our group's simple style.
The only disadvantage is it's not near the downtown and may take your time to find out if you do not speak Chinese. But overall for us the experience was still great because we enjoy riding electric bicycle around.

SSteve James55The home-cooked food offered looked delicious, but being vegetarian, sadly I couldn't try it. The hosts were beyond helpful, going to great lengths to help me sort out transportation problems with by ebike, after I discovered there was no luggage consignment available at Hekou North train station. They were willing to store my bike for free until I returned, but in the end managed to organise transport to Lijiang with a local logistics company which I would never have found myself, after all the major firms refused. Can't praise them enough - wonderful people.

UUsuário convidadoVery nice family to talk to. The location is in a great area just across the street from the riverfront. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom can stink at times from the toilet. Shower is in an awkward position where it makes it hard for me to be able to feel comfortable with showering at times. Not convienient to go up to stairs without an elevator on first day when carrying the luggage up the stairs especially when your room is near the top floor.

LLay TannyGood location of Hekou town area where platform’s hostels are mostly located here. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 20+outlets are within 1-5mins walk. Hotel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, drinking water dispenser and cable tv for movie choices, perfect for good rest in this Hekou Boarder Town. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend! P/s: this hotel is the 3rd move in for me within 18 hours with help from trip.com, personally thinks this hotel is great for global backpackers and totally value for money and I’ve extended a night stay to 3 nights to recuperate from traumatised experience of previous lodgings.
