"Absolutely loved my stay in this hotel in Changsha, everything is perfect; the location is right at the most popular city center, the Wuyi square, lots of eateries in the locality, a walking square nearby, and the Xiangjiang river is within walking distance to the hotel. I loved everything about this hotel, and the price isn't high. I highly recommend this hotel to travellers heading to Changsha, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast is delicious as well. The only disappointment for me was no coffee but only instant ones, but I am not complaining as I liked everything else, the room was clean and neat too. The IFS mall which is a high end luxury mall is right at the opposite of the hotel, there are also lots of shopping centers around the hotel for souvenirs."

Meixi Lake Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha
"We stayed at this hotel because we were seeing a show at the Meixi Lake Grand Theatre, and it's super convenient – just a five-minute walk away. They called us a day before to confirm our booking and Marriott Bonvoy account, which was great. However, when we got to the front desk, they told us the room type we booked wasn't available. They offered an upgrade but with an extra rollaway bed, which wasn't ideal for friends traveling together – a king bed and a small extra bed isn't really suitable. Thankfully, they resolved the issue in the end, but for a Marriott property that confirmed our booking in advance, not having the booked room type available was a bit surprising. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, not like those central systems that can be hit or miss. Breakfast officially goes until 10:30 AM, but the noodle station was already closed by 10 AM. Also, it has some common Marriott chain issues like poor soundproofing on the doors and no screen mirroring for the TV."

A direita, há uma McDonald’s e uma loja de conveniência 24-hour dentro de 100 metros.A estação de metrô mais próxima está a uma distância de caminhada e conecta-se à Linha 2, apenas duas paradas da Praça Wuyi. A hospitalidade realmente se manifestou, e todos OS membros do pessoal me saudaram com um sorriso quente, e apesar de algumas barreiras linguísticas, fizeram o melhor para atender as minhas necessidades. Especialmente graças à Lisa, que geriu a minha reserva, ELA me acrescentou no WeChat e VEIO acima e para além, fornecendo assistência Como um assistente pessoal. Em geral, uma estadia excepcional. "The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Changsha South Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around. You can also reach Metro Line 4 within a few hundred meters, which is great for visiting attractions like Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, or food hotspots like Wuyi Square and Nanmenkou. The hotel's cleanliness was also excellent; I especially appreciated the separate toilet, shower, and vanity areas – very thoughtful. The breakfast selection was quite good, and I particularly enjoyed the noodles – the broth was fresh and delicious. Since I had an early train at 7 AM, the hotel even thoughtfully prepared a convenient breakfast for early departures, which was a first for me and incredibly heartwarming. The staff were also very welcoming. All in all, this stay was perfect!"

"Facilities: Very complete – The hotel elevators aren't slow, and you can use your card or face recognition to operate them and open your room door. There are also full-length mirrors inside the elevators. Rooms come equipped with a mini-fridge, TV, full-length mirror, and more. On the 5th floor, there's a buffet breakfast restaurant, laundry room, gym, and a sky garden. Cleanliness: Clean, no stains found, and the room had no strange odors. The front desk staff thoughtfully assigned us a room on a non-smoking floor. The elevator lobby had a faint pleasant scent, but there seemed to be a subtle smoky smell inside the elevator itself. While not strong, I hope this can be improved! Service: Superb – A big shout-out to the front desk staff, I didn't catch their names, but the two working on the afternoon of May 6th, 2026, were both very friendly. The front desk lady noted my request for a non-smoking room and even helped upgrade our room type (to a non-smoking floor). Furthermore, whenever we passed by, the front desk always greeted us warmly. It wasn't just the front desk; all the hotel staff were very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a great experience."

The service was exceptional throughout and a special mention to the receptionist, 小姚, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive — really made the experience even more memorable. All the amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, making the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality. Overall, a fantastic experience!"
