The Howard Johnson hotel is incredibly close to Changsha Huanghua Airport. While they do offer shuttle service, if you don't have too much luggage, walking to the airport is perfectly fine. The hotel rooms are very spacious, easily accommodating a family of three. There are also plenty of great restaurants, snacks, and night markets nearby. The only downside is that the rooms are carpeted, and they look incredibly dirty. Carpets are notoriously good at trapping dust, and these were indeed very dusty. Plus, the hotel's housekeeping clearly falls short, as many fixtures had visible dust on them.

However, I was surprised to learn that even suite bookings at your property don't include executive lounge access without IHG One Rewards status. This differs from many luxury hotels where suite accommodations typically include lounge privileges regardless of membership status. Additionally, my key card was deactivated unexpectedly during my stay, which also makes me feel confused.

在瀏陽看煙花，當地酒店漲價挺厲害，一看這家性價比挺高，一直比較喜歡他們家品牌的酒店，出去旅行住的也比較多。唯一感覺有缺點的是房間的實用性設計上，衣櫥空間小了點，衣架容易撞到衣櫥壁發出聲音。另外衞生間和浴室共用一個門，稍微覺得有點不合適。其他服務都挺好的

This hotel is quite closed to the airport . I take free shuttle bus from hotel by 15 minutes to airport. I like this hotel so much because the staff is so kind and friendly to me. The staff try to help me for giving information of check-in, journey, and pickup point for my trip.

I stayed 3 nights, Everything is very nice. I was quickly picked up at airport at 1am. Room was new, clean and large. I had left New York a week ago, really need to do my laundry. a lady told me she will take care of that. At end of the day she give me folded laundry. I'm so glad I booked this hotel. Hot water, air conditioner, lights all worked well. the restaurant have buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, food wasn't so great, but taking taxi to nearby place for anything you want cost about $1.5. When i was ready to leave, the driver offered me a ride to subway station, felt I get enough for what I paid , I called a taxi myself.

The hotel is new but the services needed to be improved. Especially there was no identification of their pick up van with hotel signage and rely only on china phone communication which sometimes can be challenging for foreigner travellers. We spent almost an hour then to be picked up and sent to hotel. Also reception counter staff took a long time to check us in due to inexperienced.
