The hotel is one of the earlier hotels on the island. There are fewer people here, which is very suitable for people who like quiet. The hotel has its own beach, bar and diving centre, with boat rides from Cebu to the hotel beach. The facilities in the room are old, but they are large and have a balcony. The food in the hotel restaurant tastes good. It is also a good choice if you don't want to go after tired diving. The water outside the beach is shallow and the visibility is good. Snorkeling with children is a good location, but be careful of sea urchins.

We arrived at the hotel with two bikes and baggage driven by rooms. No reception, delivery of keys in the hand and driven to our room. It was good that the room was comfortable, clean and very spacious, and in the bathroom c was the shower heating, which was not recently. It was also a diving center but no one was uncomfortable to offer something to us, my husband and I went to dive, and we asked for a boat to rent, but we waited for nothing for someone to get us. The restaurant is so, but no one wants to take a scooter to cross the streets in the middle of the bars. The positive note was the unique beach in all that landfill to be called beach, but the coral barrier destroyed by the boats, and the fruit cocktails and smoothies to enjoy on the beach. This island was a great disappointment, given the distance and time to reach us, you could have gone to some other island to end in beauty with nature and dives. It takes a lot more than 3 hours to get out of Cebu with a private taxi driver, risking life every meter. To get to the island you are forced to go on boat that if you get that on the way as our life risks (I have two nautical cards I know what I say) my husband's little nn you're gonna ruin a leg by going on boat because after you put us on foot you're gonna be And it was thrown down and thrown down to the knee, and all this we paid for; and in three nights we made only two, and less bad, because the boat, if it is in few, decided not to take you from the other side. Hotel location is particularly good, just at the pier! Get off the boat! It is convenient to go anywhere, similar to the middle position. However, the infrastructure is relatively poor, and it is a bit dirty. Although it is cleaned every day, it is clean, but it is really hard, it is always dirty. It is inevitable to take some sand off the shoes. No mineral water~ the most important In order to save money, I didn't have an air-conditioned room. It was really hot and sad. At night, the front desk was a bit like a bar. It was a bit noisy, but it was okay, not too late, and you know that diving is too tired and you will sleep very quickly.

I booked a Superior room for 3 nights. Check in was simple. My room was a decent size and the bed comfortable enough. The shower and toilet were two separate rooms. The cable TV worked well. It required using two remotes but I had to turn on from the TV as the remote probably needed new batteries. The aircon worked well albeit a little noisy. I turned it off to sleep. The hot water shower was only enough to take the edge off cold even after being advised to let it run for 3 minutes but the following days it was warm. The shower rose was old and could certainly do with being replaced. After checking I noticed there was no soap provided. A trip to reception and soap was provided. Also, the shower light was not working, another trip to reception and the globe was replaced immediately. Bedside lamp did not work (globe replacement?). Only toilet paper is provided as there is no bum gun or pail/bucket. The overall lighting was good for island standards. Private patio area with table and seating. Bin on balcony not emptied unless requested. Room clean also upon request. Booking.com states Fan (I had none), Minibar (I had none) and Key Access should read key in door lock. One night I had a cockroach in my bed which freaked me out. I hate cockroaches. I couldn't go to sleep after that ending up staying up all night watching TV. Maybe if they used some insect surface spray it might help. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Bounty beach area. Given my senior years beachfront accommodation would probably have suited me better. In summary, the staff are friendly and try to do their best. Small irritations are part and parcel of island life except for that cockroach getting too friendly.

We fell in love in this precious resort with cosy bungalows and very friendly staff. SF Cantina is situated 10 min walking distance from Santa Fe city. They offer great accomodation to affordable prices just a few steps from the white sandy beach. The service is fantastic, staff is so kind-hearted and help out with everything you need. We stayed in the bungalow with balcony closest to the beach. The bedroom was very nice with bamboo bed and there were enough space for clothes and stuff. There was a TV but we never turned it on. AC was in order, but a bit noisy. Cleaning was excellent. We saw a few cockroaches, there always are in these areas, nothing to complaint about. Bed was comfortable, there was warm water in the cute shower. Wifi was available, sometimes more, sometimes less in the bungalow, but around eating area it worked during all of our stay. Breakfast was basic but enough. You could also order food any time. The bar was open until about 22:00. Staff organized boat trips, scooter renting, and other tours, we warmly recommend this place and will come back here again uf visiting Bantayan again. Love the location by the beach. The first day we checked in we had dinner here and the food was very good. Unfortunately for the free breakfast there’s only 3 choices. Not a bit of fruits and the orange juice they serve is from can/box. I wasn’t that bothered by that, I understand that maybe in an island is still hard to get certain stuff. There’s plenty of mango/banana around and coconut that’s pretty cheap and being a tropical island it might look better probably serving that for breakfast. The room is ok. Bed is pretty comfortable. Clean towels and clean room. Staff is really nice, welcoming and helpful. However I could be happy over all with everything if not for the very very very loud music they are playing outside by the beach. You cannot even talk to’ each other out there or take a phone call. Let’s not mention if you’re trying to read a book or take a nap 😅. I didn’t say anything since other people were on the beach so I thought they will like it. Anyway at some point I was alone and I finally asked if they could lower the volume, and finally have a few moments of peace. What I would love to suggest to the management is to start playing the music maybe around sunset when people are ready for a drink pre dinner. But before that I guess everyone will rather hear the sound of the waves of the ocean, or of you really want to play music maybe go for something softer and at a decent volume. Just saying.

Beautiful and cozy resort within walking distances to the beach and nearby food and grocery amenities. The rooms are small but has good functioning aircon and water heater for showers. Everything is clean and works well. No complaints at all. The local home-cooked Philippines breakfast is great with many choices too! Motorcycle rental is 300php per day at the resort itself and they are Not rather new bikes and worth it for travelling to all the places of interests on Bantayang island. The best experience is with the lady manager Aiza, who is very helpful with her tips on local places of interest and provided whatever requests we have on the resort. This resort is a not too expensive home-stay experience at a good location, which I will return, if I come back to Bantayang Island.

The youth hostel on Mama Island looks like this. I didn’t expect it to be like an illegally constructed wooden room. The room is small. The four-person dormitory has only two bunk beds. The room has window-style old air conditioners and fans, no cabinets and no toilets. There is no hot water in the public bathroom, and the infrastructure is not in good condition, so the price is not cheap! The service attitude is very good. I can’t sleep because of the smell of glass glue in the room, so I changed to a single room with a price of 800P (I did not charge me any more, but I booked an island hopping tour at his house the next day). The single room is ok . I don’t know why this company gets a high score, maybe because the service attitude is particularly good? It may also be that the foreigners don't care about the conditions and the open-air walkway full of sand! In fact, it is the most cost-effective to come to Momma Island to check and find a room. On the second night, I found a single room with a fan of 600P in another house. The online booking price is higher than the on-site booking (bargain).
