A localização e a vista são incríveis! A praia e a piscina ficam bem em frente ao meu quarto, então eu podia pular direto na água! O nascer do sol é tão lindo, dá para ver do meu quarto! Os funcionários também foram muito gentis e prestativos. O café da manhã também estava delicioso! Fiquei um pouco preocupada porque parecia não haver quase nenhuma porta entre o banheiro e o quarto, e eu conseguia ouvir tudo, inclusive o barulho do vaso sanitário.

Highly recommend this if you are planning to travel in Bantayan! As a solo traveler, felt super safe and ang bilis lang lapitan nila ate sa reception. If you will go solo like me and hindi marunong mag motor, worry no more kasi they will recommend a tour guide (kuya Arly na asawa ni ate Babylyn sa reception) super bait nila both. Walking distance din going to The Hungry Beach, Kota beach and MJ Square. When it comes sa room, spacious siya siguro ang downside lang for me is medyo maliit yung cr and no heater and medyo maingay since katabi ko yung reception. Pero you can request naman if gusto niyo ng tahimik. :) would book this again pag nag bumalik ako Bantayan!!

It's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.

Хороший отель. Прекрасный персонал. Есть терраса на втором этаже, утром можно позавтракать, вечером можно выпить пиво или чай под прохладный ветерок и звёздное небо.

Accommodation: I traveled solo and booked a backpacker/dormitory bed. When I arrived, I was both surprised and happy to find out that I was the only person staying in the room, which had 12 bunk beds. 😅 It felt like I had the whole room to myself! The bed was comfortable and came with two pillows and a blanket. I also appreciated that the bed and room smelled nice and clean. One suggestion I have is to consider adding curtains or some kind of divider between the bunk beds. This would provide guests with more privacy, especially when the room is fully occupied. Facilities: Overall, the facilities were good and functional. However, I noticed a few areas that could be improved. The bathroom sink was quite clogged, and I think the shower and water heater could still be improved. I would also suggest more thorough and regular cleaning, particularly in the bathroom area, to make the facilities more comfortable and pleasant for guests. When I arrived, I also noticed that the bedroom floor was wet. It would be better if the floor were completely dry before a guest checks in. I really liked the shared living room. It was spacious, comfortable, and a nice place to relax. There was also a kitchen area available, which was a great addition for guests. Service: The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. I appreciated how approachable they were and how they made my stay comfortable. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a nice experience staying at the place. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and comfortable the place was. I feel that it offers good value for money, especially for solo travelers and backpackers. They also have a restaurant and a bar, although I wasn't able to explore them because I only stayed for one night. Despite the few areas that could be improved, I would definitely recommend this place and would consider staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay but there are just some little cons we experienced, it might differ from others. Room is very tidy and clean, the bed is very comfy but the pillow is not nice it’s very thin it feels like nothing. The Bathroom is quite spacious has a bidet but the water pressure in the shower is very slow wish they could fix that. And we noticed that there is only one mirror and that is in the bathroom which is kinda inconvenient. But overall service and staff are amazing and the food! Would still recommend!

My colleagues stayed here after our work event–I booked them the double room and I booked a solo room. Bathroom and toilet room are clean with towels, shampoo, and body soap provided. They said the room was comfortable and provided them enough space to rest after our island hopping tours. We recommend this to some of our friends who are planning to visit Bantayan Island.

Stayed at SF Cantina in Bantayan, Cebu and honestly, it’s the kind of place you go to when you just want to slow down. It’s not a fancy resort, but that’s exactly what makes it special. The vibe is super laid-back, peaceful, and very close to nature. What I really appreciated is how well the place is preserved—it feels raw, authentic, and untouched in the best way. You can tell they care about keeping the environment as is, which adds so much to the overall experience. The ambience is incredibly relaxing—perfect for disconnecting, enjoying the sea breeze, and just being present. If you’re looking for luxury, this might not be it. But if you want a calm, simple, and genuine island stay, this place definitely delivers.
