"The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good, except that welcome music would play every time you enter the room. The breakfast was alright, it was just enough to fill you up until lunch with a decent selection. There's a convenience store with 3 minutes of the hotel. One issue is the proximity to a restaurant and the occasional drunk person to be close to, or inside the hotel."

"Staying on a business trip, the overall experience is very good. The room is quiet and soundproofed, the bedding is comfortable; office rest is suitable. The location is convenient for travel, the first choice for business travel. The front desk staff is polite and enthusiastic, serious and responsible, responds promptly, and can feel the intention everywhere. The breakfast tastes good, there are many varieties, hot dishes and cold dishes, and the quality is very good. The overall price is very high, I will choose here next time!"

"When I booked, I saw that it was a newly opened hotel, so I thought it would be pretty good. And it definitely exceeded my expectations. Several young men were there to help us as soon as we entered, and the manager helped us upstairs, opened the door, and carried our luggage. Most importantly, the room didn't have that unpleasant smell of new renovations; even the elevator smelled nice. The room was also much more spacious than other hotels in the same price range, clean and comfortable. We had a very comfortable stay, and both adults and children were very satisfied with the breakfast. In short, it was truly excellent and fantastic. There were some services we didn't get to experience this time due to time constraints, but I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I have the chance. The pictures were taken before check-out. I sincerely recommend it, hence this positive review. I hope it continues to be this good."

The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest.
I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service!
Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so delightful!

JJoseph Gray BaileyIt's an interesting location--an artist village--way out in the bucolic and rustic countryside. I enjoyed my time staying in a house with the 2nd floor. The service was very good (including being driven around a forest park, the village, and to another bigger village for party supplies). The location is very close (walking distance) to the crane (bird) wildlife refuge. The restaurant there is also really good with a nice variety of selections. Everyone in the village was quite friendly and helpful.

UUsuário convidadoOur stay there was enjoyable. One of our only notes for improvement was about the safe in our room not being ready ahead of time. Luckily the staff assisted in getting a new one, as the one in our room was not working, but they had to go through three broken ones just to find one that worked. Another note would be about the lack of air conditioning in the elevator and hallway. They set front desk in the 4th floor , but put gym and laundry room in the 1st floor where is no air conditioning and no security, the 1st floor is open access to anyone which made me nervous while doing laundry in the might.

TTime Traveller123This wasn’t my first time staying in Mingcheng Jinjiang hotel but I must say this time they reminded me how great they are.. I contacted them in advance asking them if they will provide temporary residence registration form. They were super professional especially Sandy Li, who made sure the form was ready. Check-in was smooth and quick, car parking was super convenient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I asked for a bottle of water, they sent 3 bottles. They were amazing throughout my stay there. It’s a pity I missed breakfast both days as I woke up late hahaha.. but overall an amazing experience.. will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yancheng.

UUsuário convidadoMy 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website.
1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.
The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!
I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights.
The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer.
Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

Set right by the water, the hotel has a peaceful, poetic atmosphere, with a stunning and highly Instagrammable landscape, especially at sunrise and sunset, when the lake reflects the sky like a mirror.
The rooms are clean, and very comfortable, designed for complete relaxation, with large windows that bring nature into the space. A major highlight is the thermal water, perfect for unwinding and recharging, adding an extra layer of wellness to the overall experience.
That said, it’s worth noting that the spa and massage services were not available during this period, which may be a drawback for guests specifically seeking those facilities.
Overall, Yihe Lakeside Homestay remains an excellent choice for travelers looking for beautiful scenery, a calm retreat, and a truly photogenic stay, where time seems to slow down.
