This is one of the few times I actually look forward to writing a review as I think this property deserves praise for their awesome work. Location: It is in an old residential area in the old town area. Most drivers will find it hard to navigate the small streets and request you walk the final distance to the property itself. While this might seem like a minus, I actually enjoyed the short walk (5 minutes slow walk). The area around the property is quiet and peaceful. The walk allows me an insight into how the people live. Anyway, the staff is always ready to give you a ride on a buggy to the main streets. Also, most of the attractions in the old town can be reached in a 15 - 20 minute leisurely walk. Property: The hotel was designed and decorated with much care and thought. The lobby-cum-dining area feels homely and welcoming. Rooms are clean, spacious, and with very comfortable beds. Breakfast: There are two options, one savoury and one sweet, both of which are local foods. I only had the savoury option and it was delicious! Had it three days in a row, no complaints. Special mention goes to the breakfast coffee. To me, it is always a challenge finding suitably strong coffee in China, but their brew hits the right spot. And now for the best part of the hotel: the staff. Everyone of them I encountered was courteous, welcoming, patient, and kind. Their welcome is genuine and warm. They seem to really want you to enjoy your stay, both in the hotel as well as in the city. The staff are lovely ambassadors for Quanzhou.

Um hotel econômico muito bom, além das expectativas. O quarto possui interruptores inteligentes e oferece banho gratuito, removedor de maquiagem, limpador facial e gel modelador. É limpo e confortável. O banheiro é espaçoso e o fluxo de água é grande. É confortável para tome um banho. Ainda faz um pouco de barulho lá embaixo à noite. Sim, seria perfeito se as janelas fossem atualizadas para vidros duplos. Está um pouco longe do local panorâmico central, a 15 minutos de táxi, mas está muito perto da estação ferroviária de alta velocidade. Há lojas de conveniência e restaurantes no andar de baixo quando você sai, e as entregas são entregues no andar de cima por robôs, o que é muito seguro. O serviço de recepção é muito atencioso e há pequenas garrafas de água mineral que você pode levar e beber a qualquer hora todos os dias, o que é ótimo. Recomendo a todos que fiquem aqui quando vierem para Quanzhou, vocês não ficarão desapontados!

One of my most enjoyable stay not just in Fujian, but in China! I had stayed in hotels that offer lesser but cost premium. This hotel is clean, new, beautifully and thoughtfully designed to every detail. All the staff had been efficient, friendly, polite, helpful and very well-trained (professional yet sincere) in delivering great service. Be it the porter, the receptionist, the concierge or even the staff standing outside the restaurant or the housekeeping staff I walked past. I would go back to the hotel anytime again, not just because of the affordable price but for the experience. Great job there! Ps: I did not take many pics as the photos were exactly as taken in the pics provided.

The hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby. The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached. The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received. I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself. The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

We really enjoyed our stay at Gucheng Alley Yu Hotel and felt very welcome due to the warm, helpful and patient service from 小阳 and 小王! The room was clean and really spacious, as seen in the attached photo, and peaceful at night. The mattresses and blankets are perfect, which provides a good night's rest without leaving us feeling too warm or cold. Breakfast is served at the Yalla雅拉 restaurant within the hotel compound, which serves a mix of Singapore-style (e.g. kaya toast) and Fujian food (Shacha noodles). Food is rather average though. The hotel is located near the Quanzhou Bell Tower 泉州钟楼, making it within walking distance from Zhongshan Road (中山路) and West Street (西街), and also near excellent eateries such as 德文虾仔面 in East Street. Leaving the following information to help anyone who is planning to reach the hotel by private hire car or taxi. Please note that cars are unable to enter Zhongshan Middle Road (中山中路) and West Street (西街) due to barricades. The nearest drop off points for private hire cars, which we managed to find, are at Quanzhou Hotel (泉州酒店) and the ICBC Bank branch 中国工商银行(泉州开元支行) near the clock tower. Both of these locations will be a good 400 to 500 meters away from the hotel, with Quanzhou Hotel being the less busy drop off point, so please be prepared for the workout carrying your luggage to the hotel entrance!

出乎意料的好，前台服務熱情洋溢，情緒價值滿滿，有很多便民服務，準備了很多產品、食物，非常貼心，細節方面做的很不錯。離老區很近，出行方便。 衞生條件很好，房間乾淨整潔，被褥床單非常乾淨，房間不僅整體乾淨。

Stayed at Allston Hotel (Anxi County Government Store) during my trip to Anxi and overall it was quite a pleasant stay. The location is very convenient, close to the main road and not far from local attractions and restaurants, which makes travelling around the area easy. Even though it is near the road, the room was relatively quiet at night, so it didn’t affect the rest at all. The front desk service was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in, and they were quick to assist whenever needed. Special mention to the front desk lady very polite, attentive, and yes… quite pretty too! One small thing I would like to mention is that hotel hygiene could be improved slightly. There were some minor cleanliness issues in the room that needed more attention. However, what I truly appreciate is that after giving feedback, the front desk immediately arranged a change to a better room, which showed that they really care about guest experience and service quality. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, with good location, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. With a little more attention to cleanliness, it would be even better. I would still recommend it for travelers visiting Anxi, especially for solo travelers or short stays.

Shishi é um hotel relativamente novo, mas há alguns problemas com o design do quarto. O quarto de casal que fiquei no 19º andar tinha mais de 70 metros quadrados. A área era grande o suficiente, mas o espaço era estranho. o quarto estava extremamente baixo e não havia luz suficiente. O cano conectado ao chuveiro do banheiro vazou assim que foi aberto, o que afetou muito meu humor. Acordei com o calor na primeira noite. O hotel desligou a geladeira no meio da noite. Fiquei sofrendo até as 5 da manhã. Quando isso não funcionou, pedi um refrigerador de ar na recepção. para o gerente no dia seguinte, e eles concordaram em não desligar o ar condicionado no meio da noite. O café da manhã chegou por volta das 9h30, e até a máquina de café estava desligada, sem falar na comida. não sei se foi causado por muitas pessoas durante o Festival Qingming.

Very good hotel. Nice staff . Good breakfast. Location perfect

Not sure if this hotel is independently run or under the park in brand. The checkin and check out and getting left luggage just took forever. The staff were not friendly, no uniforms were worn, no welcome was given . Nothing was even said when I checked in. I was given a room that was clean and tidy. However the first night being a Saturday I was kept awake by the thumping sounds of the nightclub and the screaming sounds of KTV bar which kept me up all night. Then at 6 am the construction started digging and grinding. I asked to switch rooms and the next room was smaller . Somewhat clean. But it over looked the roof of the building where the aircon machines were which was absolutely loud. The breakfast in this hotel was abysmal . Not much western food or vegetarian options. Except over sugary cereal and toast with no toppings. Every morning the room was filled and mosh patrons wasted half of what they took it was disheartening to see soo much food waste. The breakfast fruits were also always finished and nothing was being replenished. The chairs and table were dirty and stained. And I’m not sure the type of hygiene that went on cause no staff wore any type of uniforms. The coffee machine was dirty with finger marks and the overall cleaning was just poor. Skip the breakfast it was loud and in there and I saw guests sitting with the feet on the chains and kids sleeping all over the place. The location is not very convenient it’s a bit of a distance from the west street and buses are not frequent but the bus stop is right outside. The restroom in the lobby was also in a very poor state when I wanted to use it. Again it is 2025 why are wel allowing smoking in public establishments! The halls smelt like smoke and one day my room a non-smoking room had a stench of smoke coming through the vents. The daily house keeping was also suspect, one day the toilet was cleaned and floors mopped the next. Seriously , not sure if it’s actually is a radisson or what. But overall the room was clean and tidy. Staff can be trained on positions of the rooms.
