The hotel is great and the reception is helpful and friendly. The hotel and room are well maintained and looks new. Location is great and subway MRT station is downstairs and famous pedestrian walkway beside.

My recent stay at the Beijing Tiananmenwangfujing Manxin Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a sense of tranquility and elegance that set the tone for my entire trip. Location, Location, Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Situated just steps away from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the bustling Wangfujing shopping street, it's the perfect base for exploring the city's iconic landmarks and vibrant culture. The convenient access to the metro station also made it easy to venture further afield. Comfort and Convenience: My room was a haven of comfort and style. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station. Exceptional Service: What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. After I accidentally left a necklace in my room, they promptly contacted me and arranged for its safe return. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction. Beyond Expectations: The Manxin Hotel Wangfujing exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a perfect blend of modern comfort, traditional charm, and outstanding service. The location is absolutely perfect with the nearest Metro JinYuHuTong to get you anywhere in the heart of Beijing. There is also a convenient store 7-11 just 8 mins walk. It is open 24hrs. Sadly, I only get to know it on my way back to the airport at 4am. Sad to say that even the front desk receptionist doesn't even know about it. Abundance of eateries like MacD, KFC, shops, malls, etc. Most of the shops will be closed by 10pm. Take note. The top listed four season restaurant which is famous for its Peking duck. It is just a 5 mins walk. Gosh, I have been eating Peking duck for the whole week of my stay in this restaurant and is not sick of it. There are also 3 washing machines and 3 dryer machines located at B1 of the hotel where the gym and children playroom is. The pretty front desk receptionist even helped me book a Chinese Uber back to the airport at 4am. I am very grateful for it. At least i don't missed my flight back home. Very hard to get cab in Beijing as most of the locals here travelled by metro. I am not too concerned about my accommodation as I am only spending about 6-7 hours in my hotel each night. Most of my time, i will be out touring, shopping and dining. Suggestions for improvements. 1) Install a rope or a rod in the toilet where I could at least dry my wet clothings. 2) Daily housekeeping doesn't even include vacuuming the floor. It is very dusty. 3) The toilet was choke up and could not even flush. 4) The air conditioning is not working at all. No ventilation. Only hot air came out from it. Guess it is energy saving time in winter. I have open my front door wide for half an hour to allow cool air to come in before going bed each night. 5) The shower curtain is moldy and dirty. I am wondering what is the frequency of cleaning those shower curtain ? Overall I am quite satisfied with my stay in this hotel. Definitely not the room but rather the location and that pretty receptionist that have helped me to book the Chinese Uber back home. I tried to tip her but sadly she refused my tips. Very honest and reliable employee there. Thanks.

Had a fantastic stay. Perfect English speaking staff making the check-in and check out process extremely easy . Great location , steps away from Beijing famous landmarks. Highly recommended .

Vers good location, but be careful when booking the room which is the cheapest they have a window. But those windows aren’t really leading to the outside. But nether less great view from the rooftop and like I said this hotel has an excellent location.

The check in area was a little small but was a breeze and the staff made quick work of it. I really enjoyed my room. However, the room is a bit dim, when I needed the extra light. Location wise, its quite near the subway station. Also, you are near multiple Shopping centers and many food areas. You do not have to worry about being hungry/thirsty around this area.

Air-conditioning is the first reason we picked this hotel! We heard and read a lot of reviews mentioning that many hotels in Beijing and Shanghai haven't normally operated the cooling air-conditioning at night (or maybe during the daytime as well) even some day it's over 25c. (Only fan provided upon request at some hotel.) Another reason is that the hotel just did the big renovation, so guestrooms with bigger room size and without carpet couldn't be better! :D However, the room we got upgraded is a Deluxe room on the 1st floor where is connected to hotel lobby, guest toilet, and main entrance for all guests to pass by. Also, it's connected to an outdoor garden including smoking area. Even the request for a non-smoking room placed but couldn't help at this stage. Location: 4.5 (3-5mins from Ciqikou station cross the street or 5-8mins to Chongwenmen station) *For main entrance, pls notice the building wrapped with orange sticker. Room: 4.5 (Spacious, smart room with new modern design, great water pressure) Cleanliness: 5 Amenities: 4 (4 bottles of drinking water daily, tea & coffee plus small biscuits. No toothbrush, shower cap, comb, shaving kit) Buffet Breakfast: 4.5 (Cover all basic lines; Chinese, small Western corner (with no choice for egg) Staff: 3.85 (Some tried to help out but some not. We checked-in pretty late ard 6pm but said the room wasn't ready. That could probably be the reason why we got the room upgraded. Google translation app needed) Surrounding: 3.5 (a bakery shop in front of the hotel, some of chain restaurants/bakery shops in a building opposite the hotel. A few big dept stores, restaurants, coffee shops can be found around Chongwenmen station)

A truly excellent 5-star hotel (if not better) in a great location with wonderful staff in and around the premise! Of special mention is the Front Office Manager, Mr Su Yan, who quickly and tirelessly helped salvage an issue with a friend who was initially part of the booking for the Twin-room. As this friend had submitted his passport to an embassy for a visa, he couldn't check in with me. As a result, a request was made for a double bed for single occupancy which was promptly met without incurring further charges. All staff, from the front office to housekeeping, maintained their courteous smiles and greetings throughout my 4 nights/5 days stay. This included even those at the restaurant for breakfast, who were quick to usher their guests to their tables, and to promptly serve the desired beverage. Breakfast was sumptuous with a good variety of choices from Western to Chinese, and even Japanese. My room was always cleaned as soon as I left for breakfast and this made it pleasant to return to the room, to plan the outings for the day. The subway, which was within walking distance helped with getting around Beijing without the hassle of being caught up in the horrific traffic which seems to be a common feature of this city. This was truly a spendid trip staying at this gem of a hotel that I had even contemplated extending my stay for another 2 nights. However, duty beckoned me to check out to return to work. I look forward to returning to this hotel once more should the opportunity present itself and I'm hoping that it'll be sooner too!

This was my second stay in a month at Baifuyi. The first time was two weeks ago, I took a domestic flight from this hotel to Daxing airport. This time I returned to Beijing from Daxing airport and took an international flight at the capital airport. In short, it is close to both airports in Beijing. It's also close to the city center. I got off the plane just over 2pm and took the subway to the hotel just over 4pm. In the evening, when the traffic is busiest, take a ride to Houhai to have dinner and a night out. The taxi fare is only over 30 yuan a trip, indicating that the road is not far. Back to the hotel at night is by subway. 🚇 On the way we went to the Ginza Mall to buy some fruit 🍎 and drink. it was less than ten o'clock we were back to the hotel. It's as if in this hotel, after getting off the plane, you can enjoy the beauty of Beijing immediately. And this time because we have one more person, five of us. We got an apartment suite. The two-bedroom, three-bathroom suite is newly renovated, well equipped and very clean. There is a large two-door fridge, a fully automatic washing machine, and a microwave and gas oven. There is more than 100 square meters of space for five of us, more than enough. It was originally planned for five people to book two hotel rooms. Now it is more affordable and convenient to book a suite. 👍 The rooms all have balconies and large glass flooring, so you don't have to go outside and see the beautiful scenery of Beijing. The excellence of the customer service was also one of the reasons we chose to come back. Jack Fan at the front desk, very aware of the fatigue of the travelers, he quickly completed the check in, so that we can easily get on board. Whether I'm in China or abroad, I prefer to book a hotel rather than a bed and breakfast when I travel. Although the hotel is more expensive, there are strict government regulations on fire prevention, burglary and hygiene. Stay at peace of mind in a hotel. I don't think B & B will tell you about the floor plans and escape routes. But it is a must for all star-rated hotels. The advantages of a bed and breakfast are spacious and convenient. At Baifuyi in Beijing, we enjoyed the delicate luxury of the star-rated hotels and the spacious and relaxing nature of the B & B.

The rooms at Citigo Sanlitun Bridge Hotel are not large, but the space is utilized to the fullest, making it quite sufficient for two people. The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to the subway and the Beijing Airport Express line. There is also a Phoenix Mall nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel offers free late-night snacks from 10 to 11 PM, which is great. Toiletries can be obtained from the front desk, but razors are not provided. Overall, the experience was very good, and it offers great value for money. I will definitely come again next time.
