"Vagus Hotel is a vintage-themed boutique hotel. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Zhongshan MRT Station Exit 2. It is also near the Ning Xia Night Market. The room was clean and comfortable. Water dispensers (hot & cold water) are available on several floors and in the lobby, and also serve a complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea area. The reception staff were very friendly. We managed to rent the travel adapters from the reception. The hotel provided free Wi-Fi. The beds are quite firm and clean. Although the lighting in the room was slightly dim and the hotel felt a bit old in some areas, it added to the hotel’s charm rather than being a problem. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience."

"Swiio hotel is strategically located at the heart of Ximending. The room is great for couples, I’m not sure if it will be good for friends because you’ll see the silhouette of your roommate in the bathroom. You’ll even smell everything. So make sure you get along well with your friend if you’ll get the room. But if you are a couple this is definitely a steal!!! We even had an airport transfer for free with this booking, this trip was perfect. Thank you so much Swiio hotel and Trip.com for the best trip in Taipei"

"I had a wonderful stay at The Riviera Hotel Taipei. The location is perfect—close to local dining, temples, parks, and shopping. Catching an Uber from here is very convenient.
The room was clean and fully equipped (iron, kettle, hair dryer). The bathroom was amazing, featuring a shower with perfect pressure and a comfortable heated automatic toilet.
Breakfast was delicious and diverse; I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every meal. The staff, from the waiters to the receptionists, were professional and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!"

"Este Lugar FOI incrível!Eu hesitei EM reservar porque ele excedeu o nosso orçamento, MAS estou tão feliz que o fizemos. Eles nos fizeram sentir Como hóspedes EM vez de clientes. Só lamento não reservar pelo Menos três dias! A única coisa que me incomodou não soube o pormenor completo do serviço de navegação que eles fornecem (cobrar localização e horários), MAS quando EU lhes disse, eles respondiam muito rapidamente. "Hotel was quite cheap compared to others hotel and still relatively clean. Easy to find and only 10 mins walking distance from ximen station.
Location was good as its located in the heart of ximen street, which make it convenient to buy food
Downside is that although hotel provide free laundry service however it is close at ard 10.30-11pm, thereafter we could not use the washing machine and dryer anymore. Which makes it very inconvenient for tourist staying there as many of us have to ”fight” to use because everyone came back late. Some inconsiderate ppl will use for 2hrs plus which made us not able to use.
Other than that, everything else was good"

"O hotel é pequeno, MAS a localização é excelente, basicamente a pé de tudo o que você quer em torno de Taipei 101.Sim, será barulhento desde que está no centro, MAS isso é algo que EU estou disposto a sacrificar por conveniência. O primeiro dia de check-in foi bem sucedido, o pessoal do Frente de trabalho foi muito amigável e eficiente, MAS é onde o resultado positivo termina. Fiquei por três noites, pelas primeiras duas noites, porque viajo sozinho e não sou um homem de loucura, coloquei a luz do DND e optei por não ter necessidade de guarda-vidas. Na terceira noite, finalmente abri a luz do guarda-roupa e deixei a minha sala por volta 10-11am, quando voltei mais tarde, encontrei que a minha sala não estava limpa e me disseram que desde o final, eles só me podem oferecer toalhas frescas. Sou UMA Pessoa fácil, então não me apercebi, MAS surpreende-me porque EU nunca estive EM um hotel que falhou Na única coisa que eles deveriam fazer."

O pequeno-almoço era Muito Menos limitado para aqueles que são veganos e querem opções mais saudáveis. Staff lack attention that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me Algumas melancias (porque vi que tinham frescos cortes e armazenados melancias sentadas no frigorífico) mas todos OS funcionários repetidamente disseram não. É tão estúpido olhar para aquela melancia, sentado lá, e eu sentado lá, tão desiludido dia após dia, só quero que ela não consiga, então eu fui ao centro comercial através da rua e comi-a lá.Quero dizer, não é UMA experiência de Cinco estrelas. Além de um grande spa e fitness, ficámos bastante desapontados:(

Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits).

Xxavierwong95O hotel foi limpo sem esclarecimento com uma bela televisão inteligente que tinha netflix/disney+/prime, bem como um filtro de água filtrado! As mesa de cama também tinham saídas internacionais para facilitar o carregamento, o contador de snack e as bebidas no frigorífico estavam também na casa e seriam cobertas diariamente! teria uma estadia muito agradável, certamente voltaria a reservar quando eu estou de volta em Taipei :)

UUsuário convidado1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

RRaquel MonrealWe stayed 3 nights at The Tango Jiantan and really enjoyed it. The location is super convenient, right next to Jiantan MRT and close to Shilin Night Market. Our room was quiet, stylish, and very clean, with a comfy bed and a big bathtub. We loved the smart features like electric curtains and the Japanese toilet. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was simple but good. Great choice for comfort and easy travel in Taipei.

O hotel é limpo e o serviço é atento.Há sempre alguém no contador que saltou para abrir a porta principal para você (não têm um porta-manager dedicado). Pequeno-almoço que muitos convidados anteriores destacaram foi realmente bonito - eles deixaram você escolher o cereal, cortes frios, queijo, pão e pastos, e o curso principal da noite anterior de um menu online e suas escolhas são apresentadas para você no pequeno-almoço. O pequeno-almoço era bom - eles até ofereceram vinho brilhante - mas era UMA luta para comer o pequeno-almoço todos OS dias no período de nossa estadia (após o primeiro dia). Ao contrário do buffet de moagem, onde você sempre Pode reduzir a quantidade que você escolhe comer dia a dia, o pequeno-almoço servido aqui é fixe. Seria sugerido que você escolhesse comer pelo Menos um pequeno-almoço no hotel ou até IR para o almoço / jantar no restaurante para SUA experiência.

UUsuário convidadoO café da manhã era apenas médio, não havia muita variedade e a comida estava um pouco fria. A localização do hotel era excelente, próximo à estação Wanhua. A uma curta distância a pé (~10 min) da estação Longshan Temple). Há uma loja de conveniência Family Mart na estação Wanhua e um 7-onze nas proximidades. O quarto era muito pequeno e empoeirado. Não caberia 2 malas enormes. Foi classificado como hotel 5 estrelas, mas as comodidades não eram bem conservadas (por exemplo, chuveiro sujo, mesa de cabeceira empoeirada, banheira manchada). As toalhas devem ser penduradas apoiadas nas paredes externas levemente manchadas, pois o banheiro é muito pequeno. Vaso sanitário e chuveiro separados. Não há separação entre o vaso sanitário, pois a pia está localizada dentro do quarto. A cama também era um pouco macia demais, resultando em dores nas costas pela manhã e apenas 2 travesseiros macios eram fornecidos.

SSugarBThe location of the hotel is just right in the city center. If you would like to travel by subway, it’s an easy 7 minute walk. It’s a very small hotel without pool. First room category is quite small. If you stay 2 people will be very tight, no space to walk. Breakfast is not something to expect but they have smoked salmon which is quite nice. Service is a 4-star hotel service. Overall, a good hotel to stay if the price doesn’t surge above NTD 5,000
