"Fast and friendly check in. For those that drive there are indoor and outdoor parking spots at the same cost which is an added bonus. Breakfast was far more than I expected and they even have little take away baggies you can grab if you plan to be out and about all day. They had juice, cookies, and snacks for your travels. I was very happy with my stay."

"For my first time staying overnight at Ottawa, I booked a hotel room for one night at Lord Elgin. Upon arriving early at the hotel, I was provided with a room before my check-in time - which was very appreciated. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. However, little did we know, our room on the 7th floor was connected to another room with adjoining doors. We were unable to sleep through the night as the room had little to no sound isolation from the connecting room, in which a baby was crying all night. I am baffled as to how we were able to hear every single noise: coughing and sneezing from the parents in the other room, their toilet flushing and the baby crying throughout the entire night. We were unable to sleep comfortably and woke up with splitting headaches. I booked this hotel to be the closest possible to the Rideau Canal Skateway, but I will have to find another hotel the next time."

Bem, pergunte Ao recepcionista, o recepcionista, e o olho Branco Disse que ELA não recebeu o telefone, não Disse para trocar a sala, e que o ar condicionado era normal! "We enjoyed our stay up until the day of our checkout. We were running a bit late so I phoned reception to request a later checkout around 12. The receptionist informed me that they were not allowing any late checkouts. So we hurried around and managed to checkout on time. We then loaded our vehicle and sat down to have a coffee. While having a coffee we noticed many people checking out after 11am. Also I have not received my receipt yet. Would you please check into this for me. The picture is of sunset from our room. "Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general. Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)"

"Reservou este hotel no último minuto, porque tivemos que ficar uma noite extra na cidade e foi realmente incrível!Este é um hotel que eu certamente iria voltar! A senhora no contador era muito simpática e falava português, ela era muito feliz em poder falar connosco em português, e nós também falámos português! A localização do hotel é realmente boa, no centro do Parlamento, e a sala foi incrível! Estúdio realmente grande e espaçoso com cozinha e sala de estar.A cama era realmente confortável, mas a cama de sofá não era tão boa (como em todos os hotéis). A casa de banho era grande e tinha todas as instalações. O pequeno-almoço era bom e tinha ovos, bacon, frutas, cereais, waffles frescos, chia pudding, pão, ... Eles têm estacionamento privado a um preço adicional, mas a entrada é muito estreita. Há também estacionamento de rua em torno de um preço."

"I stayed here for a day and really enjoyed my experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job, and everything felt fresh and tidy. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay—would definitely recommend!"

"Where to begin... first of all, when I made this booking, there was no mention whatsoever of HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION beginning every day at 7 a.m. Naturally upon checking in, I'm informed that there is intense construction happening right next door. And yes, it was brutal. I also SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel because there was an option to reserve now, pay at the hotel. Here are some direct quotes from my booking confirmation email: ”You'll need to pay upon check-in at Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” ”Your payment will be handled by Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” and ”Pay at Hotel.” Sure enough, I get there, and the money's already been taken out of my credit card and I owe nothing to the hotel upon check-in. (This matters for reimbursement purposes at the company I work for.) Lastly, I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would be visiting every third day -- that was fine by me. But the very first day, I come back to my room after a long day and someone's been there, replacing towels, removing the minimal garbage in there, etc., which I was not at all prepared for given that I was advised the opposite. It made me extremely uncomfortable because all of my personal effects were left throughout the room, not expecting housekeeping given that I was advised no housekeeping would be coming until the third day. I'll be honest, that creeped me out as someone travelling alone. The staff were apologetic but I didn't find their explanation at all sufficient. (The housekeeping manager and front desk attendant completely contradicted each other.) Overall, such a chaotic stay. Oh, and, the heat in my room didn't work. Had to request a space heater... I mean, c'mon."

"Booked 2 nights for a colleague and he said having nice experience in the hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Good to have the fitness room which met his needs. Hotel location is good and convenient to various places around DT Ottawa."
