This hostel is located very strategic and all the restaurant, pharmacy, mini market,etc is within the walking distance. The room was clean. It has hot shower, A/C, amenities, coffee and tea as well. It comes with drinking water too. Room not too big but not too small as well. The hostel doesn't have a lift. It has a common area for people to hang out and have some coffee and tea. The staff was superb. Her name is Fadilah if I got her right. She returned back my wallet which I lost it and she found it at the front door of the hostel. She saved my day. I must give her a two thumbs up for this. The wallet was returned to be as it was before it was drop at the front door table. Thank you Fadilah. This will be my next hostel whenever I will come to Semporna. It has dorm as well with cheaper price.

This hotel is newly built in Semporna. Overall it is good, but the breakfast is really hard to describe. The hotel front desk collected the deposit, but did not remind them about the deposit when checking out. I forgot about it in the rush. Fortunately, the hotel negotiated and passed it on to Ctrip. Thank you. However, I would like to remind everyone not to forget. Also, when you check in at the hotel, you need to see if taxes have been paid. Just bring out the English documents. Also, there is no need for a sea view room. If the sea view is very poor, it is better to decide. Attached is a picture of the appearance of the Lighthouse Hotel to help you see which one it is.

The room is comfortable, clean and tidy, and the environment is beautiful and quiet. The key is that the housekeeper is super nice, responsive to all requests, and proficient in Chinese! I stayed here for more than 10 days for diving. The location is moderate, about 5.6 minutes away from the pier of Feima Hotel. There is heavy traffic during the day, but it is very quiet at night. The room is clean and you can directly see the sea and the newly built mosque next to it. There is a washing machine and you can wash your own clothes. If you find it troublesome, you can pay the staff 5 yuan to help wash and dry them. There is also a kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you are interested.

I really like this garden B&B. There are only 7 rooms in total. The boss and service staff are very enthusiastic. It feels like we are friends. The breakfast is different every day. It is cooked as you go. It is delicious. Dinner can also be booked in advance. We Stayed and ate for 3 nights. The boss's craftsmanship was excellent and the dining environment was very comfortable. But remember to bring mosquito repellent, there are many mosquitoes. There will be a car to pick up and drop off the town for free. In the last half day, the boss took us to a local supermarket for shopping and bought a lot of coffee to give to friends. Semporna Airport is very small and the queues are long. You can’t go wrong by arriving at the airport 2 hours in advance. Our plane took off 15 minutes early.

Booked through Agoda , roughly rm75++ per person per night which include breakfast, just no soundproof, we stayed at 3rd floor , can hear the band singing at night , and in the morning cat meow , loud music blasting . Breakfast selection ok , we joined the day trip tour by this hotel , rm263 per person for 2 days island hopping which is mabul & kapalai, the other day is bohey dulang , mantabuan island and sibuan island , the tour guides cum divers were helpful which was udin and nasim, the other day guide hutam was good 👍🏻 except one janggut guide was so into himself traveling and never really take care of us . So depends on which guide you have on your boat to take you around for day trip .. overall ok for 3 nights stay , got elevator , water bottle , travel shampoo

I was super happy about this trip. Six of us went together. We all had a great time at the B&B. Andy, the housekeeper, helped us sign up for a group trip. He also lent us a gopor for underwater shooting. He took us to eat and have breakfast. He was the whole process. Translation, we drank until 12 o'clock and Andy came to pick us up. The people in their family didn't care about everything, and they didn't talk about money for everything. We were so hungry that we even ate their sausages... it was too much, hahaha. The environment of the B&B is also very good and clean. It has air conditioning and the bathroom is also very clean. It has just been renovated and the yard is cleaned several times a day. Bulk English doesn’t worry at all when they are here. You can go directly to their home and have a great time without worrying about anything. , everything we ate was brought by them, and we finally had dinner with them and the tour guide for the day trip. We were very satisfied. We must choose them! !

Upon arrival at the airport, things just went downhill. My wife had booked a ride from Ocean Inn from the airport to their hotel prior to our arrival. Our ride never showed up even after my wife confirmed with the hotel staff. Called them and not one response after several calls. Great way to confirm everything and then leave your customers high and dry. We ended getting our own ride. Ocean Inn hotel is situated in a what I would consider a more or less slum area. I saw multiple locals finish their drinks and then tossed their trash over into the sea when there’s garbage cans just a few feet from them. There’s a lot of garbage sunken and floating in the water everywhere. Countless rats scurrying on the ground and roofs in broad daylight. The area reeks of sewage. When we checked in, the gal in the front didn’t like her job. No greetings. No smiles. No friendly service. Not sure if it’s a cultural thing that I’m misunderstanding. I felt like she didn’t want to help us. Never did. The entrance of the front desk had an overwhelming smell of mothball. In our room, my wife found strands of hair between the sheets and blanket. The room smelled mildewy. The restroom smelled like a heavily used public restroom. The shower pressure trickled. I just don’t know how some of these reviewers gave this place a 3-5 stars. Absolutely baffled!!! Overall, there’s little nice things to say about Ocean Inn except that the AC works well. I’ll let you readers run wild with your own imagination that I’m painting. I would never come back here again. Thank goodness it was just for one night stay.

Booked this Inn2 because I couldn’t see any commitments on Sipadan Inn 3 or 1. It was okay for overnight. The first time I stayed there, it was a normal small room with window facing the street. However, when I checked in again a week later I got a room in the middle without window, even though I booked the same queen room. The location is not great, Inn 3 and 1 are at better spots in the small seafront town, easier to reach than Inn 2. Among the three, Inn 3 is the newest and, after a visit, I noticed it has better rooms with better facilities. Had WiFi in room at Inn 2, the bed was very basic and sheets not crispy clean, the shower was okay as well as the air conditioning. Semporna is a tiny town with most places within walking distance, though the narrow, car-lined streets are not that clean or tidy to walk through, especially if you carry luggage. From what I heard from other travelers, very basic facilities wherever you stay, so lower your expectations then probably all good.

A very wonderful water house experience. First of all, the boss answers questions very attentively and seriously. Every detail is considerate for tourists. Both pick-up and drop-off are well arranged. There are three meals a day. The breakfast, lunch and dinner taste good and the ingredients are fresh! There are also arrangements for afternoon tea! In the snorkeling area arranged by the boss, you can see a lot of corals and small fish, and you can have a panoramic view of the underwater world. The waters are more beautiful than the island hopping we arranged ourselves. There are two beds and a sofa bed in the room, which is more convenient for bringing children. You can see the sea view from every window, and it is also very pleasant to sit on the balcony!

Wir waren über Silvester für 4 Nächte auf Pom Pom. Die Abholung von Flughafen Tawau mit privatem Fahrer und anschließender Speed Boot Tour hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Angekommen auf Pom Pom waren mit uns lediglich 13 Gäste im Hotel. Wir hatten einen Beach Bungalow, welcher täglich ordentlich gesäubert worden ist. Vom Bungalow an den Strand sind es lediglich 5 Meter. Der Bungalow ist zwar relativ groß, jedoch sehr altmodisch eingerichtet. Sowohl das Bad, als auch die Klimaanlage müssten dringend erneuert werden. Auf Nachfrage hat uns das Hotel höflicherweise die Klimaanlage innerhalb einer Stunde repariert. Wer einen ruhigen Ort mit paradisieschem Flair sucht ist auf Pom Pom richtig. Das Meer ist traumhaft warm und das Wasser ist kristallklar. Der Service des Hotels ist enorm hervorzuheben. Täglich konnte individuell mit Mitarbeitern besprochen werden, welche kostenlosen Touren man machen will. Tag 1 sind wir auf Sandbänke gefahren, Tag 2 zu einer Insel mit Wanderung, Tag 3 zu der Partner Insel Mataking (welche deutlich luxuriöser und teurer von der Austattung ist) Das tauchen hat pro Tauchgang 35 Euro gekostet und das Schnorcheln 20. Man konnte zusätzlich Schnorchelaisrüstung und Kajak Boote umsonst am Hotel für den Strand ausleihen. Das tolle Erlebnis Pom Pom wurde jedoch von der extrem!!!! schlechten Küche überschattet. Das Essenagebot ist Buffet und jeden Tag genau das Selbe. Es werden 4 ”Gerichte” angeboten, welche Kalt serviert werden, was wohl an den chinesichen Standart angepasst ist. Zum Früstück gibt es immerhin Omlett und Pankakes. Mittags und Abends gibt es immer Reis, Algen, Kaltes Gemüse, Wassermelone, Chicken mit Knochen (Kalt) und Kalte Shrimps. Ab und zu gibt es auch noch fritierten Fish. An SIlvester wurde sogar schon um 21 Uhr das Restaurant geschlossen und keine Bar war auf, weshalb der Abend sehr dürftig war. AUf Nachfrage haben wir erfahren, dass man spezifisch für Europäer und Amerikaner auch andere Speise habe,welche nicht erwähnt werden. SOmit haben wir ab Tag 3 uns entweder von Spaghetti und Tomatensosse, Tiefkühlpizza oder wenn wir sehr viel Glück hatten gebratenen Nudeln mit Chicken ernährt. Es gibt kein Wlan auf der Insel, man muss eine SIm karte kaufen. Schlussendlich ein traumhafte Malediven Insel mit tollen Sandstränden und tollen Ausflugsorten, bei welchen man Schildkröten etc sehen kann, vergleichbar mit den Malediven, jedoch auf Europäischersicht nicht mehr als ein drei Sterne Hotel. Total nette Mitarbeiter welche alles versuchen den Europäern den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen, jedoch ist weder die Austattung (nicht mal ein Tv) noch das Essen an westliche Länder angepasst und erinnert mehr an Backpacker. Das Geld ist somit nur teilweise diese Erfahrung wert.

There is no TV or telephone in the water house, and even the toiletries provided are uneven. The keys are universal (because we found out that the keys are universal when we entered the wrong room, and the packaging form and variety of toiletries in the house are different). It seems that the rooms here are divided. We were divided into those raised by our biological mothers and those raised by our stepmothers. Unfortunately, we were assigned to those raised by our stepmothers. I opened the quilt at around 10pm and found two blood stains on it. It was too late and I didn't go find someone to change it. I didn't cover myself all night. I told the staff the next day and they changed it in front of me, but I Later, I checked again and there were still dust stains. Alas, it was much better than blood stains, so I just made do with it. I particularly suspected that it might not even be washed, but just patted and dried in the sun. People with long hair like me It's difficult to wash your hair and there's not enough water (this may not be possible in other rooms). Summary: You shouldn’t be too picky about living in a water house. It may be very good compared to other water houses (in addition, the lunch and dinner in this water house are still OK), but after all, it costs more than 2,900 per night. In total, It’s worth the price! There is also no staff who can speak Chinese in this water house. Chinese tourists stay here every day, but there is no staff who can speak Chinese. The scenery of the seawater is indeed super beautiful, but the facilities do not need to be expected. There is basically nothing and you need to bring your own, including toilet paper. Looking to improve the infrastructure, it was too hot to sleep at night. We booked for two nights and stayed only one night without checking out. It was really hot. The rest is OK.
