We almost didn't find it, the guide goes through the pedestrian zone. Sufficient private parking available. The location of the hotel is very central. Large room, pleasant beds, good service. Highlight: The corridor has a Nespresso automatic machine that you can use as you like. In general, a very relaxing stay, we would like to stay there anytime again.

We stayed for the umpteenth time in this wonderful family hotel. The rooms are individually designed in a modern style and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway, but is still in a quiet location. The breakfast has everything we needed. The dinner was very tasty, both the guest room and the breakfast room are modern and discreet. In short, a hotel to relax and unwind after a long drive. The hotelier couple is very warm and takes care of all wishes. We'd love to come back.

The modern building right next to the Stoos railway is invited, the modern equipment functional and yet 'style'. The attention of the entire staff was provoked by a ”yes, I can mentality”. Check-in is self maintained but was more complicated than thought; the QR code reader had to be 'been' xmal ... I had to enter all personal data again - although I had booked via booking. I had to - if a careful staff had not come to help me immediately! The room was modern - reduced to the max but it was all there it needs. I traveled with a dog and there was a dining room with beautiful tips. On the hall there is a water bar with beautiful caraffs and glasses. In the evening you could take a dessert in the hotel bar with great view to the surroundings. That you can not serve a single malt in the tumbler is a detail : -) the whisky card is small but fine, also with locally produced varieties. The breakfast buffet is huge. There it has something for everyone. Only the coffee was relatively bad - automatic coffee just. A super coffee per day would certainly start the i-top on the 5 points!

I booked a three night stay here for myself and son aged 2.5. I found the journey from Zurich airport easy. I took the train to HB then changed to a train to Brunnen. I did switch at Zug. Then the 504 bus to the hotel was 10 minutes from Brunnen station. Overall it took just under 2 hours. There was some confusion at check in. I booked via ********** and assumed I was in the hotel. I was not aware there were apartments, and these are treated differently from hotel guests. After discussing this with management, we agreed I could pay an additional fee to be treated as a hotel guest. This was much better as it included full board food for my son, breakfast for both of us, towels/robes and lots more extras. Had I just been in the apartment, I would have had to check out at 10am whereas hotel/hostel is 11am. Also check in for apartments is at 4pm whereas hotel/hostel in 3pm. Breakfast is charged at CHF 27 per person/per day and children’s meals are CHF 9 per meal. Also, the gym is charged at CHF 15 per person/per day. As you can see it can get very expensive. I found the apartment to be very spacious and comfortable. It was frustrating having to navigate finding the apartment in the dark as the signs were not clear and it was difficult to navigate some steps with the buggy. The restaurant was great for the children’s meals/ Plenty to choose from. The restaurants did get busy but I never booked and was always able to get a table. At lunch I did not want to eat so little one only ate, I felt like the waitresses did not like this and kept asking if I wanted to order something. The kids facilities are the best. The play area is great with lots of fun toys. Sadly parents let their children run unsupervised but that’s not the hotels fault. Ethan also went to TOM’s Happy Club one morning whilst I went to the gym. The pool was also great. Plenty to keep the children entertained. We also enjoyed the cinema room. There isn’t much local to the hotel unless you have a car but we were only there for a few days so it was ok for us. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families. So much to keep children happy. Ich habe das Höhenhotel über meinen Geburtstag besucht. Der Empfang war nett, zuvorkommend in Bezug auf den angefragten Zimmerwechsel, aufmerksam im Restaurant. Ich habe mich sehr über die Aufmerksamkeit im Zimmer zu meinem Geburtstag gefreut, wie auch den dekorierten Tisch. ☺️ Das Frühstücksbüffet wie auch das Halbpensionsmenü waren sehr gut und ausreichend. Beim HP Menü hat man sogar die Möglichkeit, den ein oder anderen Gang auszutauschen. Toll! Die Aussicht vom Zimmer und vom Park auf den See und die Berge sind atemberaubend. Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalt von Emmetten. Das Hotel bieten flexibel einen Shuttle an, der die Gäste zum Hotel oder ins Dorf bringen. Kostenlos. Tolle Dienstleistung. Hallenbad und Dampfbad sind sehr sauber. Im Hallenbad ist es recht laut, was wahrscheinlich so sein muss. Das ist etwas schade. Eine Sauna wäre schön. In meinem Quality Time Package war eine Massage mit dabei. Die war ok. Nächstes Mal würde ich jedoch eine Frau für die Behandlung bevorzugen. Das ganze Personal war durchwegs freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal im Seeblick Höhenhotel.

Slightly odd checkin procedure, where we got a key somehow without really registering but our room was prepaid so we didn’t think much of it. The room wasn’t ready after all, so the receptionist spent some minutes shouting at the cleaner and left us to wait in the bar. When we got to the room it was unexpectedly large and roomy with a balcony and separate window so we could air it a bit (no air condition). Decoration a bit dated etc, no fridge but clean and fairly quiet and dark at night despite being next to the road. The bathroom had soap dispensers full of very watered down detergent but the water pressure in the shower was good and reliable, as was the Wi-Fi. We slept well! We had dinner in the restaurant and that was fine, and agreed to put it on the bill and pay in the morning. As we enjoyed our dinner, a huge party of new guests arrived and were accommodated in the restaurant but in a difficult part and the hotel manager, who was also waiting on tables, somehow managed to handle all of this at once and no problems with service to our table as you might expect. In the morning, the same thing; lots of breakfast guests but they were prepared by having an extra table of breakfast in a difficult room (albeit without the cold stuff like yogurt) and placing thermoses of coffee on the tables for arriving guests. So we didn’t get a welcome or anything but helped ourselves. Breakfast was a bit limited and the coffee was the worst we had on this trip, but still plenty of choice. Checking out was rather difficult as the person on reception couldn’t find any record of us checking in, and had problems with the computer system, but it was eventually sorted out, we paid our bill and off we went. There is not a lot of choice if you want to stay in Emmetten so this could be your best bet.

The Staff are so friendly and helpful. They were able to store our baggage until the room was ready. Thier outdoor cafe overlooks Lake Lucerne and they offer English menus. the staff are first rate. Then you get your room,,, Amazing. Very spacious and the view from your patio is non-stop beauty. The location is easy access to the train station, many restaurants. there are a lot of excursions on the lake available. Did I mention the view from your balcony?
