Hotel Und Naturhaus Bellevue

Lovely hotel, clean and beautiful views, however salad as a starter every night was monotonous. We were with a coach trip so I guess they were keeping costs down, but some imagination could have come up with many alternatives. Very little or no choice for vegetarians .Longer serving spoons needed too, having to fish the spoons out of the salad buffet was not hygienic. This was the only thing that spoiled our stay. Bread and croissants were the best I’ve ever tasted. Staff friendly and helpful except for the chef who, when my friends questioned the very rare pork fillets, said this is how we cook them. In other words- hard luck!

Rooms are so dated, and if you don’t get a view of lake don’t bother staying here. Food was not great breakfast just basic. Staff were not helpful at all. We had a room on the top floor but lift only goes up 2 so had to lug suitcases up a very winding staircase not great when you are over 65. We luckily found a little pub up on the hill and the owner so lovely and they did basic meals. Also there is another place that opens spasmodically when is next door that had basic food as well.

Perfectly acceptable for a short stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are dated and the sound proofing isn’t that good, I could hear neighbouring bathrooms . Also, if at the front you might be either delighted or woken by the cow bells from the field on the other side of the road. Bed though was very comfortable. Shower cubicle could have done with a grab handle. Views are glorious - fortunately the low cloud lifted for our last two days. Breakfast is a bit haphazard, dinners are very good but, like the rest of Switzerland, not cheap. Plenty to do from here as long as you hire a car. We got down to Lugano, up Pilatus and up to Stoos, all excellent.

One must admit : if you take a front room with balcony, the view over the Urnersee is stunning. Appart from that the rooms are standart and ageing. The staff is ok but the food is quite expensive if you are not half-board. Breakfasts : quite plesant.

Sehr zu empfehlen, einfache Zimmer aber alles sauber, nettes Personal, sehr gutes Essen, gratis Parkplatz. Was will man zu diesem Preis noch mehr? Treibbahn zum See sowie Bushaltestelle sind ganz in der Nähe. Wir kommen bald wieder! Alois A., Zug

Hotel bezocht met groep van +40 personen. Het enige echt positieve aan dit hotel is het uitzicht vanop het terras (en sommige kamers) en vandaar waarschijnlijk ook de naam Bellevue. Maar als je een kamer krijgt aan de verkeerde kant heb je alleen maar last van de koeienbellen. Het meubilair in de kamers geraakt in een t****ehandswinkel echt niet meer verkocht. De inrichting van de kleine badkamer is al even gedateerd met bovendien een vies douchegordijn. Voor de formule half-pension is de kwaliteit van de maaltijden aanvaardbaar. Het personeel doet wel z'n best maar heeft duidelijk geen horeca ervaring. De drank is echter zeer duur, vooral omdat de portie van een glas wijn zo klein is (zou 10 cl moeten zijn maar dat krijg je niet). Het ontbijt is niets bijzonders maar wel voldoende. Alleen steeds lange files aan het enige koffiemachientje en aan de broodsnijplank. Tot slot, het hotel is slecht gelegen als je overdag uitstappen wil doen. Naast het hotel vertrekt wel een kabelbaantje naar het niveau van het meer en daar kan je dan een rondvaart op het meer boeken. Voor het overige moet je steevast een rit van ca 20 min. naar de "bewoonde wereld" doen (en 's avonds dus ook terug) vooraleer je aan je uitstap kan beginnen. Kortom, niet aanbevolen voor een verblijfsvakantie.

La vue est certes magnifique mais pour le reste, un bon coup de dépoussiérage serait conseillé! Cela se veut chic mais le service laisse à désirer (ils font de leur mieux pourtant..) même si la cuisine était correcte. Beaucoup de maladresse, aucune ambiance et peu de choix de menus… dommage, avec un si bel endroit, il y a bien mieux à faire.

Hotel tipico in alto sopra il lago. Avevamo una camera con balcone e vista lago e la vista era incredibile. Eravamo sotto il tetto e di notte sentivamo la pioggia battere, è stato bellissimo. Letto comodo e pulizia eccellente. Ottima colazione con vista lago. Personale gentile e parcheggio comodo.

Wir haben das Valentinstagsangebot gebucht und waren total begeistert. Das Zimmer und der Tisch waren wunderschön dekoriert. Das 4-Gang-Menu war fantastisch! Super leckeres Essen. Grosses Kompliment an die Küche! Auch der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und den Urnersee konnten wir sehr geniessen. Selbst mit dem versprochenen Sonnenschein und dem genialen Ausblick beim Frühstück hat es geklappt. Auch unsere zwei Hunde haben sich wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
