"I visited Huidong Island Resort with my boyfriend for his birthday, and unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The biggest challenge was the language barrier - we don't speak Chinese, and it made navigating the resort extremely difficult. The resort's location seemed promising, but we encountered a significant issue with a local woman who scammed us for a boat ride. We were asked to pay 30RMB (the actual cost to the captain) and then she demanded an additional 200RMB to her own account. The language barrier made the situation confusing, and we only realized we'd been scammed after she had left. It was a disappointing start to our trip. Trying to make the best of it, we headed to the ocean for a swim the next day. However, after about 20 minutes, we were asked to exit the water due to a potential typhoon approaching. To add to the disappointment, the swimming pool was closed, and many amenities we had expected to be available weren't operational. This was pretty disappointing given they were part of why we chose the resort. On the bright side, the hotel room itself was very nice, and the breakfast was good. But overall, our experience fell short of expectations, largely due to the communication challenges and unavailability of advertised amenities. Would I recommend? Maybe not without significant improvements in addressing language barriers and ensuring advertised services are available. For travelers who speak Chinese or are prepared for such challenges, it might be a different story."

"Recentemente, me hospedei no Echarm Plus Hotel, perto da estação de metrô em Guangzhou, e minha experiência foi, no geral, muito positiva. Localização: O hotel está perfeitamente localizado a poucos passos da estação de metrô, o que facilita muito a exploração de Guangzhou. Seja para visitar a Feira de Cantão, a Torre de Cantão ou o centro da cidade, a conectividade é excelente. Há também muitas lojas, cafés e opções de comida local por perto, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais fácil. Quartos: Os quartos eram limpos, modernos e confortáveis, com tudo o que eu precisava para descansar bem após longos dias de viagem. O ar-condicionado, o Wi-Fi e a água quente funcionaram perfeitamente. A cama era especialmente confortável e o serviço de limpeza manteve o quarto impecável. Equipe e Serviço: A equipe foi educada e prestativa. Mesmo com a comunicação limitada em inglês, eles se esforçaram ao máximo para ajudar usando aplicativos de tradução. O check-in e o check-out foram rápidos e tranquilos. Instalações: O hotel parece novo e bem conservado. O lobby e as áreas comuns são limpos e modernos. O ambiente geral é tranquilo, o que é ótimo para viajantes a negócios e turistas. Experiência geral: Tive uma estadia confortável e sem complicações no Echarm Plus Hotel. Com sua localização privilegiada perto do metrô, quartos limpos e bom serviço, definitivamente oferece um excelente custo-benefício. Com certeza me hospedaria aqui novamente em minha próxima viagem a Guangzhou."

"Swan Lake Hotel enjoys a spectacular setting at the foothill of mountains and facing a large lake. If one gets up early enough, from the balcony of the room there's the beautiful sunrise to catch at the far side of the lake. The atmosphere is serenely beautiful! I occupied a luxurious spacious suite on the top floor basically made up of 2 rooms, one for the bedroom and bathroom, the other for a tea ceremony table. Each room has a large balcony and fabulous view of the lake. The bed is huge and the mattress is firm and very good in supporting one's back. The air-conditioning system thoughtfully offers a choice of cool or warm air to suit the seasons. There's a capsule coffee machine but no capsule was offered. Similarly, the beautiful tea ceremony table doesn't come with any tea at all. The bathroom is enormous with a toilet cubicle, double sinks, a bathtub and a shower. The shelf inside the shower cubicle has been designed a bit too small for placing toiletries. Maybe I missed seeing it, but I didn't notice any escape route plan which most hotels display on each floor in the lift lobby. The hot spring center is beautifully set in a garden. Numerous pools offer different fragrance of flowers or tea. Night time soaking is very atmospheric, but safety measure can be greatly enhanced by installing lights to shine in each pool of water. There's plenty of choices for breakfast in the buffet restaurant. The Chinese restaurant serves tasty local cuisine, some ingredient are even from local water and farms. The staff are very friendly and helpful in general, very accommodating with even special requests."

"選古龍峽周邊民宿時一眼看中花園木屋，實際入住完全超出預期！房間衞生做得超到位，一進門就有淡淡的清香，床品柔軟親膚，睡起來很舒服，衞生間的一次性馬桶墊、洗漱用品都齊全，水壓足熱水也穩定。老闆和員工都很熱情，有問必答，還主動分享了景區遊玩攻略，停車也方便。不管是情侶出遊還是獨自散心，這裏都很合適，已經推薦給要去古龍峽的朋友，下次來還住這家！"

"This is a group of sunken post-modern style buildings. It should be a multi-story guest room building plus dozens of individual very exquisite small houses. The scenery changes as you move around, surrounded by the waterscape in the middle, and the waterside is quietly hidden. There is a seal stone exhibition room, and most of them are of high quality. Many landscapes have hot spring pools, and the bathrooms should be equipped with floor heating, so bare feet feel comfortable. The soundproofing of the room is not particularly good. The hotel is surrounded by Wanshaoyuan, Dongguan and Shaoguan Economic Cooperation Zones. There are many scientific research and trade institutions next to it. The landscape is designed with trails, which is great for running."

"The mountain view villa we booked exceeded our expectations! Opening the window revealed an expansive view of the entire forest, with incredibly fresh air. In the morning, we could see the mountain mist, and the sunsets in the evening were absolutely stunning. The villa is fully equipped with all appliances and kitchenware, and it was spotlessly clean with soft, comfortable bedding. The yard is spacious, perfect for barbecues, tea, or taking photos. The host was warm and thoughtful, provided clear check-in instructions, and responded super quickly to any issues. It's ideal for family gatherings, offering a quiet and healing escape from city noise. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next vacation!"

"This is a high-end hot spring hotel that focuses on privacy, tranquility, and an escape-like atmosphere. The hardware, decor, private hot springs, and pool views are all of excellent quality. Its main selling points are peace, privacy, and ambiance. The downsides are its remote location and limited amenities. If you're looking for a quiet retreat to enjoy private hot springs, your experience will far surpass city-based hot springs. However, if you're seeking convenient one-stop access to dining, entertainment, and activities, you might find it inconvenient."
