Total magnificent place to stay and experience total peace and beautiful nature. Snow capped mountains. Owners Mr & Mrs Lee are friendly and helpful. Room is clean warm and cosy. Highly recommended to anyone to visit Danyang, to experience Dodam guesthouse than hotel.
Exceeded expectations. Wi sure recommend friends and family to visit Danyang and Dodam guesthouse.

SSgkrElderly woman who manned the front desk ruined the hotel experience for me. Although i had booked online, she said that she was not told of my reservation and said i had to contact the owner on my own. When i said that I was unable to make calls from my phone, she refused to lend me her phone and also did not want to help me locate the korea tourism agency for assistance. Was unwilling to help call a taxi either. Eventually, she relented and when contacted, the owner confirmed my reservation. When i returned at 4pm, there was again a checkin delay and she had to call the owner to ask which room I should be given. It was a harrowing and haphazard experience. When the lady boss finally arrived back at night, the lady boss was nice and pleasant, but the experience had already been ruined.

Loved the private car parking included. Loved the pleasant, responsive host/owner. Stayed 2 nights and staff topped up our supplies, towels and emptied our bin. Our room was spacious. The rooms seem separated by thin walls only and we could hear the next door neighbours late at night. Enjoyed the free coffee near the reception desk. From the photos of the room on the website, however, we expected to be able to cook in our room.....stove top shown in the photos. But the hotplates were not plugged in, nor were there any cooking utensils, pots or pans, cutlery, plates etc. This was disappointing and the hotplates should not be shown in the photos of the room as it isisleading. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this Hotel which has a great location on the waterfront.

The hotel was very clean and nice with a full set of amenities such as razor, shower towel etc. The room was also well equipped with warm and cozy air-conditioned atmosphere. The refrigerator was filled with 4 bottled of fresh water and soft drinks (free of charge). I would strongly recommend business travellers to use MaryJane Hotel, which in my opinion is one of the top class hotel. Finally parking was also quite easy and convenient.

I was able to rest comfortably while traveling by bike. I was able to store my bike indoors and eat ramen, coffee, and toast myself in the morning, which was really nice ^^

GGuest UserIt's ok, its good for the price though a few things didn't work. I couldn't get the heater (reverse cycle) to heat and my room had no taps in the sink... which I found more amusing than a problem, but I'm also pretty tolerant xD.
It's ok if you need a simple no frills hotel. Though note there's no shops nearby. I'm cycling so that was a bit of a pain.

Great hotel with breakfast Pros: - location, in the center of Suanbo - European breakfast (eggs, toasts with jam, cornflakes with milk) - really non-smoking room! - the discount price for the nearby onsen - helpful staff Contras: - the only one - no hot water in the bathroom

This was second visit with my wife for the hot spring spa and relax. The room condition was so cozy and great cleaness. The owner was so kind and friendly, he remembered our second visit as arriving on. I strongly recommend you if enjoying the hot spring spa.
