This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! The staff were quite helpful, and the villa is located in close proximity to the Nuwareliya town. It is one of the most peaceful villas to stay at with a good view of some tea fileds. It is definitely worth a visit for couples, a group of friends and/ or Family.

I fell in love with this place! Wonderful and insanely polite hosts, welcome tea, a very good breakfast, everything is very aesthetically pleasing, the service is really on top for me)) I really felt like I was in an English countryside! Special thanks to the guys for letting me walk around the tea plantation and take pictures in a sari😍🙏🏻 It's something magical! In general, I really recommend this place from the bottom of my heart, the owners are real darlings, the atmosphere is incredible!

Being up in the hills around the city in the wealthy area, this boutique hotel is a little out of the way. That said, the view, the service and the food were well worth it. Converted from a personal villa, this hotel only has 4 rooms, but what you get is a very personalised service and a good attention to detail. As it is out of the way, we decided to stay for dinner for convenience sake, but this turned out to be a great decision as food here was just great, the chef had experience at major 5 star hotels. We were supposed to be able to eat on the terrace, but unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to, it would have been amazing if we did! We were well looked after by Kogul, and we felt like home.

First of all, manager, Manusanka and crew at Scottish Planter Glendevon Bungalow are amazing. We stayed 3 nights. My mom and dad were not feeling well when we got to the bungalow. I was so worried and nervous about the situation. Team was very supportive and they went above and beyond making us feel home and prepared meals according to our requests and it helped my parents to feel better quickly. Mr. Manusanka reassured me that if there is any emergency let them know even if its late night they will be there to help us. Luckily my parents were feeling better the next day and we had a relaxing time there. Team is very kind and compassionate. The location is best to relax and unwind. They have a well maintained vegetable garden. Some juices and meals were prepared from freshly plucked vegetables and fruits from the garden. Chef Bandula prepares incredible dishes. There's a unique taste and variety in the dishes. The taste of the food ignite burst of flavors yet well balanced. One of my favorites is a garden salad he prepares. I am thankful for their great hospitality. We highly recommend the Scottish Planter Buglalow. Also, we will definitely visit the place again.

Let me talk about the good place: the whole house is not bad. When the hotel arrives at the hotel, the boss and the waiter are warmly greeted at the door. Besides, the bad place: the sheets and quilts were actually used by the front guests. This is a bit exaggerated. First, I saw the hair on the sheets. Then I carefully found the lipstick and some other marks (see photo). I found the waiter. Changed the new sheets. Bathing is not possible with several people washing with electric water heaters.

Arriving in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two-story small building of this villa is quite suitable for couples or a family of four. Since our tour guide only accompanies us for one day, we solved the dinner problem before arriving at the destination. If you don’t prepare dinner, the waiter at the hotel will use tutu Drive customers down the mountain to eat. But we have to come back before ten o'clock in the evening. Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The sound of praying for blessing accompanies us to sleep and accompanies us to get up early and open the window to see the best mountain village in Lanka, surrounded by clouds and mist. Generally speaking, the focus is on the bathtub with a very good view. It is just the decoration because the temperature here is low and the hot water is not enough. It is not enough to take a bath. The hot water was gone as soon as I applied the shampoo. The whole process of shampooing my hair with ice water even though I felt super helpless. The first day of 2019 was very speechless. Breakfast was the bread ➕ eggs ➕ ham sausage delivered the night before. Make your own omelette. Ok

A very pleasant stay! There is no front desk check in, the housekeeper will help you handle it and bring it into the room. The key to the room is really wooden 🔑! The hot water is not stable, and it will be cold after washing. The swimming pool is indoors, but unfortunately it will not open after 6 pm
