"De repente, precisei ficar mais uma noite em Nagoya e, enquanto procurava um hotel, encontrei este que era incrivelmente barato em comparação com outros, então decidi ficar lá. Itens como toalhas não são fornecidos, mas podem ser alugados mediante pagamento (toalhas de banho custavam 200 ienes, não me lembro dos outros preços). Para dormir, foi perfeito. Estava ansiosa por me hospedar em um hotel cápsula pela primeira vez, mas consegui dormir tranquilamente. Os chuveiros funcionavam 24 horas por dia, e o chuveiro era até mesmo um Refa! Também havia bebidas gratuitas, como sopa de missô, café, chá e chá verde no primeiro andar! Havia uma TV e fones de ouvido disponíveis para aluguel gratuito. Se eu voltar a Nagoya, este é um hotel cápsula que definitivamente considerarei como opção."

"The place is clean and near many eateries. There's an eatery that opens till 3am which serves good ramen. The only thing is that there is no lift. So if you are staying on rooms other than the ground floor and travel with heavy luggages, it will be quite a task."

"This hotel is very good location, it's beside of Osu market, a 4-minute walk to Kamimazsu Station. It's very convenient location, full of shopping places, and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and warmly welcomed by the reception staff. The capsule in each room is good security by the digital lock door 🚪, I can stay here with nice sleep. There are vending machine in front of hostel, it's all convenient."

"I initially thought I had booked a regular room, but it turned out to be a dormitory-style capsule instead. If you’re traveling light, this place may suit you, but there isn’t much space to store luggage. There’s no locker or safe provided.
Amenities are not complimentary, each item, including bottled water, costs 100 yen. Upon checkout, you’re required to remove the bedsheet and pillowcase yourself. Also, note that the showers are only available until 10:30 pm.
Personally, I found the place unsuitable for my needs and decided to move to another proper hotel nearby.
One more thing to be aware of: the property is located near a temple, and the surrounding area has no streetlights at night. Walking back via that route can feel quite eerie, so it’s safer to stick to the main road along the river."

"挺有意思的一次經歷，很像中國老式的招待所，或者港式的宿舍，有公用澡堂，沒有樓上的WiFi，鑰匙離房的時候放入鑰匙孔就行，沒有人checkout，辦理checkin都是年紀很大的奶奶，其他酒店見不到的，但是乾淨還是很乾凈的，床單和被子都是一次性的，也沒有味道，這點比國內的好多了插座有，第二天一早走，衹是睡一覺，還是挺舒服的，房子有防空洞避難所，挺有意思"

GGuest UserA bit of an older hotel but it was quite charming. My room had lots of sunshine. The floors were quite damaged. The AC worked well. When I arrived, my name was attached to a key with my room number on it, so check it was seamless. They offer free ramen for breakfast and water in the reception area. There is also a place outside where you can sit and eat during your stay. The room was also pretty large for the price. It had a small fridge (though mine wasn’t plugged in) and a table with a chair if you wanted to do some work or eat in your room. The bathroom had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

Although guests are required to leave between 11:00-15:00, but everything is refreshed and spotless when you return, almost like check in again each day. However, it would be better, if there were more space available for packing.

GGuest UserThe location is good. The room was clean and nice, but the shared toilet was built into the wall and was at an angle. I'm not very tall so I was able to use it, but it would be difficult for taller people. As expected, the area under the toilet was in a terrible state in the morning. I hope it's only on the floor where I stayed.

GGuest UserOur group of three females arrived and was denied check-in because the rooms were for ”Males Only.”
This restriction was not clearly stated during the selection process. On the Trip.com interface, several room options were explicitly labeled [Male Only]. However, the rooms we selected had no gender label in the title. As a consumer, it is logical to assume that if one option is marked ”Male Only” and another is not, the unlabeled option is for females or unisex. This critical information was omitted from the main room title and only found deep in the reservation details after booking. This is misleading UI design for a gender-restricted property.
We were stranded at the airport without accommodation due to this lack of transparency, without refund, and told that it was solely our fault.
However, despite sudden show up, Toyoko inn welcome us with cheaper price, better room and free breakfast. I highly recommended Toyoko inn.
Thank you TUBE Sq for your kind support, but please response to our cancellation request due to this whole nonsense error.
And, lastly, may we never see you again.

Ppinoy solo travelerThe best choice for a budget solo traveler. It offers free unlimited drinks all day, unlimited curry with rice for breakfast, unlimited fresh ramen noodles at night, and free alcoholic drinks in the evening.
There is a lounge on the 11th floor, a public bath with a hot pool and sauna, and free shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, and face and body lotion. It also provides free toothbrushes and razors. The locker fits a 20kg size luggage if not, you can put it at the large luggage compartment and ask for chain with lock at the lobby. There are coin washing machines and dryers available as well.
Heads up to those with tattoos: this hotel only has a public bath, and tattoos are not allowed.

YYIT SINNever disappointed with Japan hostel. Clean, quiet, organised etc. This hostel is very strategic location in Osu (大须) Shotengai Shopping Street and having nearby train station. It is also walking distance to Sakae area. A must visit Osu plus stay for solo Travellers. Afternoon shopping can put groceries at hostel and continue shopping again. The instructions in English is very clear, the bed in room is very clean etc.

GGuest UserSmall and cozy hotel. Close to Nagoya Station. Sadly, hotel’s service was poor. No toilets and showers inside rooms, only public ones. Rooms are clean, there are some amenities. Recommend only for business trips, not holiday trips.
There is a pretty good takoyaki place around the corner.

HHugenihaoaThis is the second time I stayed at the Shochikumei Hotel. The hotel seems to be a renovation of the former workers' dormitory. It is within a ten-minute walk from Nagoya Station. It is two stops away from Sakae Station, and the transportation is very convenient.
The hotel room is small, but very clean, and disposable toothbrushes and slippers are provided.
The bathroom and toilet are public, relatively clean and sanitary. I will stay here again next time, mainly because it is cost-effective.
