I had a very pleasant stay at Dayin, mainly thanks to its excellent central location and the high level of service provided. The hostel is very well located in the city center, making it extremely convenient to get around and explore the city, either on foot or by public transportation. This is a big advantage for travelers who value efficiency and easy access to major areas. The rooms, bathrooms, and toilets are clean, tidy, and well maintained, which made my stay comfortable. In addition, the hostel offers free laundry facilities, a very practical feature, especially for longer stays. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. They are friendly, polite, and professional, always ready to assist when needed. I received a lot of support during my stay, especially from the two afternoon-shift staff members, including Li Ze, who were extremely helpful and made me feel truly welcome. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

The microwave, water, and disposable cups were a nice touch. There's a bus stop right outside, which is very convenient. The overall environment is clean and hygienic. The communal tables are generally clean, though the white one could be a bit dirtier. There are several restrooms. The one near the mirror in the women's restroom can sometimes be a bit dirty, but the others are all very clean, as are the sinks. Just note that no disposable toiletries are provided, and the room itself is quite small, making it hard to fit luggage.

The staff here are like old friends; they were incredibly patient with everything from check-in instructions to travel tips. The bedding was soft and the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept very soundly at night. When I checked out, they even thoughtfully gave me some tissues. This kind of attentive hostel definitely deserves a full five-star rating!

Beautiful hostal just as their pictures. The only thing it was a bit messy in the 20 girls room since there were no lockers. But you have your own safe and I left my things there for a long period of time and nothing happened. The staff doesn't speak English, it was funny that the receptionist only point at me my bed no explanation of anything else but everything was easy to find. So overall I do recommend the place the metro station is just crossing the street.

My stay in the Hi Cozy hotel was beyond expectations. The hospitality of the staff, cleanliness, comfort and overall ambience is amazing. 10 out of 10 from me. Anyone who would like to stay in Shanghai , needn't look elsewhere. The Hi Cozy hotel is of a high standard and easily accessible via metro. Everything is close to perfection. This was my first time in Shanghai, and I figured I'd just find any place to stay. Since I'd never stayed in a hostel before, I wanted to try it out. After landing, I followed the navigation; it was about a ten-minute walk from the subway exit. Maybe it was because it was evening, but the lights at the entrance were absolutely captivating. Even more surprising was discovering a small courtyard inside! A few foreigners were chatting and drinking there, looking quite relaxed. The lady at the front desk was incredibly gentle and patiently explained all the check-in details. When I got to the room, I saw a stranger on the bottom bunk playing PUBG. After making my bed and stuff, I chatted with him for a bit and we ended up hitting it off, almost like being back in college. I have to say, this courtyard is really great. Couples were having romantic talks, and I just quietly lit a cigarette nearby, contemplating life, feeling like I was back in my campus days. My first hostel experience was truly wonderful. It's a shame I'm heading somewhere else tomorrow, but I might stay here again on my last night.

The place works as a home for the Chinese people who come to Shanghai to work, which there is nothing wrong about that. Just don't expect a hostel vibes. The structure itself is amazing, but it looks like nobody cares about broken things nor dirty areas. But my only complain is the fact that there is literally no mattress. I don't how the people sleep every night there. As a foreigner, I also didn't like that my roommates hang clothes inside the room, so every time I opened the door I had someone's underwear right at my face. You can find many other hostels (real youth ones) for the same price and better located as well. Shout out to the male receptionist, who is very kind and helpful. The other receptionists (girls) were very careless to answer any questions, but maybe because I didn't speak the language.

The 10-person room was actually cleaner this time! The environment is comfortable and the location is great! It's very close to Jing'an Temple, there are lots of food options nearby, and ordering takeout is super convenient! The front desk lady didn't upgrade my room this time, but I actually feel this room was even cleaner!

This hostel is absolutely fantastic! The minimalist design is so refreshing and comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly stylish – they really put thought into it. It was spotless and odor-free, and the washroom was also super clean. The location is perfect, making it really convenient for getting around and shopping. The staff were amazing, always happy to help with any questions and so enthusiastic. I highly recommend it to all travelers!
