I had a very pleasant stay at Dayin, mainly thanks to its excellent central location and the high level of service provided. The hostel is very well located in the city center, making it extremely convenient to get around and explore the city, either on foot or by public transportation. This is a big advantage for travelers who value efficiency and easy access to major areas. The rooms, bathrooms, and toilets are clean, tidy, and well maintained, which made my stay comfortable. In addition, the hostel offers free laundry facilities, a very practical feature, especially for longer stays. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. They are friendly, polite, and professional, always ready to assist when needed. I received a lot of support during my stay, especially from the two afternoon-shift staff members, including Li Ze, who were extremely helpful and made me feel truly welcome. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

The microwave, water, and disposable cups were a nice touch. There's a bus stop right outside, which is very convenient. The overall environment is clean and hygienic. The communal tables are generally clean, though the white one could be a bit dirtier. There are several restrooms. The one near the mirror in the women's restroom can sometimes be a bit dirty, but the others are all very clean, as are the sinks. Just note that no disposable toiletries are provided, and the room itself is quite small, making it hard to fit luggage.

I had a great experience! Consolidating the shower and toilet into one area significantly reduced moisture in the bedroom, which avoids many issues during construction, ongoing maintenance, and guest use. While it's not without its drawbacks, this setup offers more benefits than disadvantages for all three parties. If the room's design and spatial planning could be further improved, it would be even better. Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

Beautiful hostal just as their pictures. The only thing it was a bit messy in the 20 girls room since there were no lockers. But you have your own safe and I left my things there for a long period of time and nothing happened. The staff doesn't speak English, it was funny that the receptionist only point at me my bed no explanation of anything else but everything was easy to find. So overall I do recommend the place the metro station is just crossing the street.

Had a great stay at Hicozy International Youth Hostel! The staff are very helpful and always jolly —special thanks to YoYo Also to Melody & Ryun for being so warm and accommodating. The ayi (auntie) who cooks is also wonderful and very helpful. The hostel is complete with modern facilities, clean bathrooms and a very accesible Area to the Metro Station(East Nanjing Road) and a large, spacious common area that makes it easy to relax and meet other travelers. Highly recommended!

The location is convenient, close to the Line 14 subway station. There are breakfast shops and an ALDI supermarket nearby, making shopping quite easy. The dormitory rooms have private bathrooms, though the toilet is a bit small – I feel like if you were a bit heavier, you wouldn't be able to turn around! 😂 The staff are also very enthusiastic and patient. The environment is very good and clean. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is next to a garbage collection point. If you want to take a shortcut to the subway station, you have to go through the trash area, which is quite stinky. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The place works as a home for the Chinese people who come to Shanghai to work, which there is nothing wrong about that. Just don't expect a hostel vibes. The structure itself is amazing, but it looks like nobody cares about broken things nor dirty areas. But my only complain is the fact that there is literally no mattress. I don't how the people sleep every night there. As a foreigner, I also didn't like that my roommates hang clothes inside the room, so every time I opened the door I had someone's underwear right at my face. You can find many other hostels (real youth ones) for the same price and better located as well. Shout out to the male receptionist, who is very kind and helpful. The other receptionists (girls) were very careless to answer any questions, but maybe because I didn't speak the language.

The location is super convenient, really close to Wuning Road metro station. It's also very clean, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. There's a spacious common area in the lobby, perfect for eating or reading. But the best part is the front desk service – they're so helpful and patient, really good at communicating and solving any issues.

Male consumers, myself included, rarely write reviews for any product, unless it's a negative one. **Service:** Let me share my experience from these short three days: Upon check-in, even after a minor inquiry that wasn't really a demand, the staff helped me change rooms. I'm eager to give a good review, so here it is. **Facilities:** From the large, quiet rooms and clean bedding, to the privacy-focused bathrooms, I didn't need the laundry room this time, so no comment there. Down to the smaller details like the air-conditioned shared bathrooms, heated toilet seats, toilet seat covers, toilet paper, cotton swabs, paper cups, shampoo and body wash, laundry pods, and earplugs. The toilet area alone is worth a special mention. **Hygiene:** The public facilities I saw were very clean and tidy. I wonder if it's constantly being updated to maintain that standard. **Environment:** And it doesn't stop there. There's also the relaxed atmosphere in the lobby. You can be alone, hang out with a group, or even work. As I'm writing this summary, it's just after Friday's folk night. Although I just came back from a hilarious stand-up comedy show, I still caught the tail end of this lively, youthful vibe. I've already given a good review, so to conclude, I'll give a big thumbs up to 'Backpacker's Ten Years' and to every staff member I interacted with – I won't name them individually, mainly because I don't know their names 😊 – a huge shoutout to this team! 👍 As the saying goes, it's absolutely amazing.
