We had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

This hostel is really lovely. The owners are so friendly and helpful. There are a lot of personal touches in the common areas, especially in the large sitting room. There’s space for washing and drying clothes, as well as filtered water available. I had a room with private bath, that was nicely appointed with lots of thoughtful details. I would certainly stay here again!

Great location if you want to visit Jiayu Pass. It's within walking distance to the Great Wall museum and the free shuttle buses stop right in front of the hostel. Staff is very nice and helpful!

Very close to the train station, and the city center is easily accessible by bus. There are plenty of restaurants near the hostel. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, as it leads past numerous construction sites and run-down apartments. The hostel itself looks okay. You get a bed, but nothing else is included (no towels, no toothbrush, etc.). The bathrooms and the stairs leading up to them could definitely use some renovation. A 100 ¥ deposit is required at check-in, but it's refundable. I only stayed one night, and it was perfectly adequate for that.

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. It is really well located (many shops, night market, metro), but the first time it's not easy to find the right entrance in the building. Indeed, the entrance is little bit dodgy because it's dark and dirty. But once you arrive at the 8th floor, everything is perfect. I really recommend this hostel in Lanzhou. This comment has been written by a French traveller. Je suis resté 2 nuit dans cette auberge. Elle est très bien placée (nombreux commerces, marché de nuit, métro), mais il n'est pas facile de trouver l'entrée la première fois. En effet, le hall d'entrée est sombre, sale et n'invite pas à venir. Mais une fois arrivé au 8ème étage, tout est vraiment parfait. Je recommande cette auberge à Lanzhou. 第一次體驗蘭州的青旅，感覺非常不錯。1.店內環境可以，衞生收拾很到位。2.店老闆熱情好客，有事諮詢會事無鉅細的講解。3.配套齊全。配有一次性拖鞋、牙刷、小袋裝洗髮水。真的很棒。4.位置很好，樓下就是張掖路步行街、夜市小吃，喜歡逛吃的旅友在這住非常棒。樓下負一還有經濟實惠的快餐。步行十多分鐘既到景區。5.交通方便，公交、地鐵走不遠就有。6.景區可視，在旅社這一層就能看到中山橋、白塔寺，美景盡收眼底。第一次看到黃河裡的水這麼清澈。給到好評最主要還是店老闆熱情好客，相當不錯，後續來蘭州必住。

已經是第二次來了，第一次來就很驚艷，沒想到第二次來還有新的驚喜，愛了❤️。 環境很不錯，續住了一天，老闆服務很熱情，可以寄存行李。性價比很高哦！周邊熱鬧繁華，小吃很多，交通很方便，地鐵公交都在距離3分鐘內，去周邊旅遊不走冤枉路。超級推薦
