Hotel location is great, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and sightseeing activities. Breakfast had a lot of variety. However staff was not friendly and very rude on the last day during checkout. We raised this with the reception staff and they later sent an email to apologize.

The surrounding facilities are excellent, with a shopping mall nearby. Daily service is excellent for Melbourne, with prompt feedback on issues. The air conditioning in the room doesn't have a heating function, so you have to rely on the air heater. Breakfast includes milk, yogurt, coffee, fruit, oatmeal, bread, and four or five main dishes. Overall, it's a good value in the Reforma area.

The AC didn't work properly since day 1. I reported it, service staff came to the room just lower the temperature but still was warm at night. It was uncomfortable to sleep. I reported the problem again and they came for service the AC but it didn't work to much, something was missing. It was a little better at night but still a bit warm.

We loved staying here although we did have a few hiccups. We arrived before check-in but we could leave our luggage at the hotel which was a relief. Unfortunately we lost our luggage ticket while out, but the front desk employee Grecia made it seem as if it were a huge problem and that we would not be able to retrieve our luggage at all. She did not reassure us even after we expressed confusion and concern. However once we had already gotten very stressed about this, another employee simply asked for our identification and quickly resolved the problem (which was their standard protocol). The stress was avoidable. When we arrived to the room we had to call to request robes and slippers, and there was only one water bottle even though we were two guests. In the bathroom, there is only one hook for the towels, which was inconvenient. The shower also leaked water all over the bathroom which is an architectural problem and can’t really be helped but was annoying as the bathroom floor was wet. The lighting in the room was also very dim, but that might just be a personal preference. Multiple times when requesting towels or water from room service, we had to call several times to remind them of our needs (we even once went personally to remind them at the front desk after 3 times of calling). On our last day we were eager to enjoy one final breakfast, which is listed as being from 6am-11am. However the food was not set up until 6:20-30, so we had to rush to eat before checking out to make it in time for our flight. Also at breakfast there is no self service tea or water station, and although the staff are attentive, it’s too much for them to be able to meet everyone’s needs at rush hour breakfast. However despite all of this we are left with a great memory of staying here. The food at breakfast was delicious, and most of the staff were very kind despite the delays in service. The location is convenient and the room was comfortable. I do not regret staying here although for ~300 USD a night I might expect a little bit more attention to detail.

I really appreciated how functional the room was and how comfortable the bed was, but the absolute best part was the location. Even though it's at an intersection, there's a convenience store on every corner. The hotel staff were also super helpful in recommending delicious local restaurants; you can find all sorts of great food options around here. The staff were really welcoming and friendly too.

Very good, this is my third time here. The room was comfortable and, most importantly, the price was reasonable. The only downside was the airport shuttle was so infrequent that I had to wait an hour and a half for it to arrive.

I ordered a room with a kitchen and breakfast. The kitchen was in the room, but for some reason there was no spoon, fork, plates, pots, or kettle. Only a coffee maker, microwave, hotplate, water, and 2 glasses. I didn't like the breakfast at all. Every day you have to go to the reception and get a breakfast coupon. No coffee, only celery and papaya juice. Dry breakfast, omelette with sausages, pancake, and that's it. The portions are served a la carte by the waiter and they are small. There is no soundproofing in the room, every sound in the next room can be heard as if it were your own. Loud music was playing from the street until 4 am and people were laughing. The cleaners are really something. From 7 am they are already cleaning the next rooms and the corridor. It's impossible to sleep... There are no smoking areas in the hotel and smoking is not allowed in front of the hotel...

Acceptable room price. Staff is friendly and helpful. Suggest to add electric water kettle for each room. Better maintain stable room price on weekdays and weekends.

The hotel is in a very good location, and the Independence Column is just a few steps away. However, the hotel is very old, and the rooms are very old, almost like those in the 1990s. The breakfast is in cooperation with the restaurant downstairs, which is a very distinctive Mexican restaurant. However, there is a main road downstairs, and the noise is a bit loud. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be controlled in the room. However, the room is large, with a separate kitchen, microwave and refrigerator, but it cannot be turned on. The price-performance ratio is OK. It is not recommended for travel and vacation

This is the worst airport hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't understand the rave reviews for this place. The reception staff were very unfriendly; I asked for a phone adapter, and they just looked at my charger and told me to go look for one in the airport shops! A 4-star airport hotel doesn't have adapters for guests! It turned out my cable was actually compatible, but the staff didn't even bother to check. The room was very gloomy and gray, the floor was freezing cold, with no carpet, slippers, or bathrobe. The shampoo and shower gel were very low quality. Breakfast was terrible – nothing to eat at all. The omelet was made with some strange oil and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The hot dishes were cold, and no one reacted when I pointed out they were inedible. The cappuccino was mostly sweet milk with minimal coffee. The hotel was cold. There were no hotel signs, so I had to ask staff for directions several times. This hotel is worth maybe 2 stars and $50. I don't recommend it to anyone and am surprised by the high ratings – guests must have never stayed in a decent hotel. My window faced a gallery where workers were walking around early in the morning, making a lot of noise, standing right outside my window (the curtains were open because I didn't know people would be walking there), playing music on their phones, and keeping me from sleeping. My complaints at reception were completely ignored. The bed was uncomfortable, and the mattress sagged. I would not recommend it to anyone!!!
