My family and I recently spent four nights at Patong Bay Hill Resort with friends, and overall, it proved to be a pleasant hillside retreat with both strengths and minor limitations.
**Accommodation & Location**
We booked a pool access sea view room, which was impressively spacious. The bedroom comfortably accommodated our family of three, while the separate hall area could easily house an additional couple. The elevated location provides excellent panoramic views and delivers an authentic Thai local resort atmosphere that many guests will appreciate.
**Service & Amenities**
The staff consistently demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. Room service operates until 11 PM, with housekeeping available 24 hours - a thoughtful touch for families. One pleasant surprise was discovering the resort spans multiple buildings across different elevations. For guests who prefer not to walk extensively, the resort provides complimentary 24-hour shuttle service between buildings and to the reception area.
Transportation to Patong Beach (1.5-2 km away) is conveniently provided via free shuttle service until 11 PM, with Bangla Road just another 200-300 meters beyond the beach.
**Dining Experience**
The resort offers decent food quality, though options lean toward local cuisine. While vegetarians seeking Indian dishes may find limited choices, both egg-eaters and non-vegetarians will find ample variety. The pool water was very clean, and being on the 7th floor with no obstructions, the view was excellent. The room was super spacious and very clean, with all the sofas and chairs looking brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and even offered welcome drinks. The only downside was the breakfast. Although it's served until 10:30 AM, by a little past 9 AM, almost all the food trays were empty. There were only 2-3 trays with a small amount of food left. I walked around and couldn't find anything to eat, which was quite disappointing. Eventually, a staff member brought me a plate of stir-fried rice noodles, which at least filled me up. This was the first time in decades of traveling that I've encountered such a breakfast situation. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast on the second day was only slightly better, still feeling like leftovers. It's also quite close to the King Power Duty-Free Shop.DePLN 167

A great hotel. They call themselves ‘The Oasis of Patong’ and they’re not wrong. Close enough to the madness so it’s within a 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd but far enough away that it’s nice and quiet to make a relaxing stay. We had a wonderful stay at this resort. From arrival, Front Desk Agent Polly and Guest Assistant Minnie were incredibly helpful and friendly. Even the buggy driver kindly explained the room facilities and minibar details to us.
Our tropical garden view room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. A special thank you to our room housekeeping for the thoughtful birthday decoration, it truly made my day extra special.
Breakfast offered a wide vegetarian-friendly selection with salad bar, cheese, bakery items, and more. I would love to see a bit more variety in the Asian local dishes, as the menu was quite similar each day. Tropical fruits are my favourite in the resort.
The resort feels like a one-stop getaway with a beautiful beach and clear water. Have to rent snorkelling gear and I recommend renting wet shoes due to stones and dead coral in the beach area. I had a small injury from the coral, but the beach staff took great care of me.
We also enjoyed the small petting zoo, the staffs were very friendly. Overall, the team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It’s perfect for anyone looking for relaxation and quiet time, and we would definitely love to return.DePLN 267

Splash Resort was a perfect place for a family vacation. The resort was very clean, calm, and truly family-friendly.
The beach was one of the highlights — the sea was very clear and calm, with no strong waves, which made it safe and enjoyable. We were able to swim in the sea with our 6-year-old daughter, and she loved playing on the beach, collecting stones and splashing in the water.
Our 3-month-old baby was also very comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The peaceful environment made it easy for our baby to rest well.

I had a great stay at Best Western Patong Beach Hotel and was very satisfied overall. The room was super clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the service throughout my stay was amazing.
I initially booked my stay without breakfast, but I decided to try the breakfast for one day at the hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety, and it was reasonably priced, making it great value for money.
The hotel’s location is another big plus. It’s close to everything — you can easily find tuk-tuks nearby, it’s very close to Bangla Road, and getting to the surrounding beaches is quick and convenient. Despite being so centrally located, the hotel is quiet at night, with no noise disturbance, which I really appreciated.
I was also very happy and touched by the birthday gesture from the hotel, which made my stay feel even more special.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Best Western Patong Beach Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a convenient yet peaceful location in PatongDePLN 122

The location is great, absolutely walking distance to everywhere for those who come to Phuket for the first time. I just got the worst boat tour I've ever join from the tour company next to the hotel. I don't know if it belongs to a hotel. It is also great to have a market in front of the hotel. We stayed for 15 days in this ideally located, quiet hotel right in the center of Rawai. The setting is very pleasant with a superb, large swimming pool. The staff is friendly, and housekeeping is done every morning.
However, two points should be noted:
Cleanliness upon arrival: The bathroom (especially the bathtub) and the kitchen were not clean. We had to buy our own cleaning products.
Bed comfort: The mattress was extremely hard, to the point that we had to buy a foam mattress topper after two difficult nights.
In summary: Despite these initial cleanliness and bedding issues, overall, we were happy to return.DePLN 68

Room is clean and spacious with a tiny balcony. Shower a bit difficult to set the temperature, even just moving the tap very little bit, water became very hot!
Breakfast is ok but not impressive, though their coffee machine offers lots of coffee/tea choices. You do get a fantastic view at the breakfast restaurant on the rooftop next to the pool. Next time I would rather just take the room only option and get breakfast somewhere.
Fantastic rooftop infinity pool with excellent view! Location is perfect, they offer free shuttle to the airport which only takes 5 mins. Once you go outside the hotel, lots of eateries and convenience stores. This is a great place for short stay or transit！
P.S. hotel only provide 1 room key card per room even it's 2 persons staying in the room.They charge 200baht deposit for every additional key card!DePLN 114

This hotel isn’t bad, but with some context of having stayed at other similarly priced hotels in Patong and Thailand, I can’t recommend.
Staff were just going through the motions, didn’t seem to have the Thai smile, super friendly service.
Room was okay for sleeping, but had a weird studio-style, sink in the middle of the room layout, meant it was really only suitable for 1 person.
Pool itself was nice and relaxing, but the pool area was a disaster. Regularly no towels, chairs scattered everywhere with used towels on them. Chairs themselves were low quality and easy to break. A lack of staff to clean the area and offer bar service. Seemed like only 1 person worked up there.
This is the second Beyond location I’ve stayed at. The first place had similar indifferent staff, but they had a skywalk to make it not really matter. This location has nothing found for it to make you want to return.DePLN 156

Everything was ok,location is good, in the center of patong.BUT In the rooms and corridors, everything including the facilities and equipment is bery old.overall everything is not bad except Hygiene in the kitchen area was very poor. For example, during breakfast the glasses were dirty; you could clearly see milk residue or leftover coffee in many of them. On another occasion, we saw a large number of forks and knives fall onto the floor, and the staff were about to place them back on the tables without washing them again. We had to point this out and say that they should be washed again.
Even the tables were not properly cleaned after guests finished their breakfast. Sometimes pieces of food were left on the tables, or the tables were set again with the same dirty hands that had just been used to wipe them.
Most of the staff, except for one or two people, did not welcome guests warmly and were not friendly or polite.DePLN 158

We had a really great stay at The Nature Phuket. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and you can tell the staff take good care of the place. The location is convenient, close enough to the beach and main areas, but still quiet and relaxing.
Service was excellent from check in to check out. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the stay even more comfortable. The facilities were also very good, especially the pool area, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day out.

This hotel is excellent; every time I visit Phuket, I stay here. It's a Banyan Tree branded apartment-hotel, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. You can dine at the hotel or cook your own meals in the room, which is very convenient! This was my first time back since the pandemic, and I feel like the Laguna complex (where the hotel is located) and the town outside have improved significantly. There are many more restaurants, bars, and cafes, and a large new shopping mall has been built. The area is filled with European and American guests, offering global cuisine plus a vibrant Thai nightlife – truly an ideal holiday destination! Coming in December, the weather is particularly comfortable, not hot in the mornings or evenings; it's probably the best season in Thailand. Laguna, the largest resort in Asia, features 12 Banyan Tree branded hotels, all connected by a lagoon. Ferry boats can transport guests from one hotel to another's private beach, as well as to other hotels, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful views of the Andaman Sea, and access various hotel restaurants, spas, and golf courses. During my Phuket trip, I stayed at three hotels: Patong Beach, Karon Beach, and Koh Phi Phi. The Orchidacea Resort stood out for its excellent location, facilities, and service. What truly impressed us was that even though our two-night booking had different room types, they upgraded us to the same room type for both nights at check-in, free of charge. This meant we didn't have to switch rooms, which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, our stay had some challenges. The room had an unpleasant smell, and we noticed too many cockroaches in room, which affected our comfort. The property is located directly on the beachfront, which is definitely its strongest point. The room we were assigned has a partial sea view. Unfortunately, part of the view also includes some rather neglected surroundings, but the beauty of the ocean largely makes up for it. In terms of services, there are a few shortcomings. The toilet tends to clog easily, and some amenities that are quite standard in many hotels are missing, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers. Instead, the hotel provides a beach basket with towels and a pair of plastic flip-flops to use during the stay. However, these flip-flops are not new, and it is unclear whether they are properly sanitized between guests. Overall, it can still be a convenient option for people who work and want to have the sea literally a few steps from their room, with the possibility of reaching the beach in just seconds. That said, some aspects related to maintenance and attention to detail could definitely be improved to make the experience more comfortable.DePLN 111

We switched to this hotel for our last two days and just relaxed there. It was clean and the service was warm and welcoming. They proactively helped us with our luggage when we checked in and even loaded it into our car when we checked out. Breakfast was just okay, though; I've noticed that breakfast in Thailand generally isn't very good, so I usually skip it. The room was very spacious and clean, and you could access the pool directly via stairs. There were also many pools, and the kids' splash area was nice too. It's about a 15-minute walk to Kata Beach, and the front desk offers a shuttle service that can take you to the main road or directly to the beach. The service was excellent; they were very patient even though we arrived late at night. The breakfast was quite rich and varied. I read some reviews saying the rooms facing the street had poor soundproofing, but from my own experience, the room was actually quite quiet and not noisy at all. When I checked into the Pullman Phuket, I booked a sea-view king room. I'd requested a high-floor, sea-view room in advance and reiterated it upon arrival. Initially, I was given a room on the 6th floor where the balcony was completely obscured by trees, blocking the sea view. I immediately went back to the front desk to request a change. After confirming availability, the staff personally showed me another room, and I successfully moved to a high-floor, sea-view room with a fantastic view. The whole process was very smooth.
Check-in Tips:
• A 4000 THB deposit is required upon check-in. Any on-site consumption will be deducted from this deposit upon check-out, with the remainder refunded or additional charges collected.
• The high-floor balconies offer panoramic views of the entire Andaman Sea. The beach is just across the street, a short walk away.
• The hotel grounds have peacocks and free-range chickens.
• Breakfast is extensive, with two dining areas and a wide variety of options to suit different tastes.
• You can also book a Thai SPA with the front desk.

Hotel exceeded our expectations.
Room was very spacious, very clean and modern. Nice design, comfortable bed, all amenities working.
View over the pool was nice.
Walking distances within the hotel are quite long, not good for people that have issues with that.
We loved the breakfast buffet, which was a brunch with loads of hot options like a soup and salad bar and huge variety of hot savory dishes (Asian and western food) and highly recommend booking it with the room rate.
Only they didn’t have any milk alternatives which wasn’t great for me as someone allergic to dairy.
Coffee wasn’t good, but two 7 eleven just around the corner for your daily dose of iced coffee 😋
Pool super clean and pretty. Layout is cool, temperature is great, enough chairs available, swim up bar with music and reasonably priced drinks.
Location was convenient for us, not too loud but loads of Restaurants, bars, night market and shops around the corner. If you wanna spend time at the beach rather than the pool I would recommend a hotel that’s closer to the beach, even though the Aurich has a free shuttle service to the beach and it’s not that far to walk (feels longer in the heat or with kids though)
We recommend as a great stay for couples and if we come back to Phuket will certainly book again :)DePLN 156

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's about a 10-minute walk to Jungceylon Shopping Center, and the nearest 7-Eleven is only about 5 minutes away. Patong Beach is also roughly 10 minutes away. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but very clean. The pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The hotel staff are really friendly, always smiling from arrival to departure, and they provide very attentive service. Oh, and I thought the hotel breakfast was fantastic; you can fill up in the morning and skip lunch. I definitely recommend getting breakfast. Overall, I'm very satisfied—a great choice!DePLN 286

This hotel is located on a hillside in Karon Beach, about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. There's a shuttle service daily between the hotel and Karon Beach, which we used once. However, the timing wasn't always ideal, and the distance wasn't too bad, so we mostly walked to the beach.
Choosing the right hotel for a vacation is crucial, and this is another gem I'm really pleased with.
The ambiance is great, the pool is fantastic, the rooms are lovely, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is superb – it truly felt like a perfect getaway. While the location isn't as convenient as hotels right on Karon Beach, we actually spent a few nights at a beachfront hotel first before moving up the hill, which offered a different kind of experience. Watching the sunset over the ocean from the hillside in the afternoon was another beautiful sight altogether.
There weren't many Chinese guests; most of the Asian faces we encountered turned out to be Korean. Highly recommend!DePLN 456

The hotel's environment is truly exceptional, probably one of the best in the vicinity. It's built on a hill, so some rooms require a funicular ride to reach them. It's not far from Patong Walking Street and Jungceylon, about a ten to fifteen-minute walk. The hotel does offer a shuttle service, but it's not very convenient, running only four times a day, with the last service at 4 PM. There are dining options nearby, but they all look pretty mediocre. I do want to commend the hotel's restaurant; it's reasonably priced and the food is delicious – I ate there twice during my three-day stay. However, the room cleaning was disappointing; it felt like they cut corners. Disposable amenities weren't replenished, and one day they even forgot the bathroom floor mat. Each room comes with chocolates in four flavors, which were very tasty. My main complaint is about the poolside bar at night. It's incredibly inconvenient; the music plays until around midnight, and you can clearly hear people talking and drinking below. I thought booking a pool-view room would be quieter since it wasn't facing the street, but I totally miscalculated by not realizing there was a poolside bar. I had to wear earplugs every night to sleep, otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten any rest. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. The breakfast was also decent, and everything tasted nice. The rooms are individual bungalows nestled in the jungle, offering a fantastic environment with excellent privacy, separated from neighboring bungalows by trees.
The resort's surroundings are incredibly beautiful and perfect for taking photos. The pool is open during the day, and there's a bar next to it where you can order drinks. You can walk directly from the resort to the nearby beach, which tends to be quite crowded.
The package includes daily breakfast from 8 AM to 11 AM, as well as a choice of either lunch or dinner from 2 PM to 10 PM. The food quality is decent, and there are plenty of options to choose from.DePLN 585

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Phuket! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities to make my stay comfortable.
The location was perfect—right on a wonderful beach and there were few good restaurants around. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options every morning.

The room was big and we were really happy with it. We loved the bed — it was very large and comfortable. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool because we didn’t have much time. The staff were great and excellent overall.
We did not request housekeeping on our second day. Someone cleaned the room and thank you for that,but they forgot to replace the bath mat when we returned around 11 PM. I was too tired to ask, so I just let it go. However, I was surprised later when they questioned why the bath mat was missing. I definitely had no plans to take a bath mat with me on my way to Koh Pangan! 😂 the lady who assisted us in checked put were so lovely she just did her job and apologize for asking this and she did a great job.And to the guy who assisted printing my bus ticket thank you so much.
The towels also weren’t changed during service and there was no bath mat, but honestly, it was fine with us. Still, being accused of taking the bath mat was a bit insane. 😭DePLN 146

The studio room was great – spacious with a lovely view, and you could even see Kata Beach in the distance. Breakfast had limited options, but the noodle soup was delicious. Housekeeping was quite late; our room wasn't cleaned until after 5 PM. The service attitude was just so-so compared to hotels I've stayed at in Bangkok. The room appeared very clean on the surface, but there were ants, which might be due to the summer heat. I used both the laundry and room service. The hotel's seafood Pad Thai was absolutely amazing, and the laundry service was also excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the beach, but make sure to ask the front desk about it – it runs at fixed times, and they won't tell you unless you ask.DePLN 278

We had a very nice stay at Panwaburi Beachpoint Resort and truly enjoyed our time there. The resort itself is comfortable and relaxing, but what really made our stay special was the kindness and hospitality of the staff.
All the staff were very welcoming, especially the night bellboy. We arrived at the resort quite late, almost 10:00 PM, and unfortunately the bike rental shops nearby were already closed. Our toddler had not eaten yet, so we needed to go to the nearest 7-Eleven, which was about 1 km away and too far to walk with a child at night.
One of the staff members (I’m very sorry I can’t remember his name) went out of his way to help us by offering his friend’s (the security staff’s) bike so we could get food for our toddler. This thoughtful and caring gesture meant so much to us and showed genuine concern for guests.
It was indeed a memorable birthday trip for our daughter, and this kind act made it even more special. Because of this wonderful experience, we felt truly taken care of. For sure, we will stay here again and highly recommend Panwaburi Beachpoint Resort to others.
