Honolulu is a place brimming with ethnicities that have its roots in Hawaiian traditions. It is a modern city with world-class stores, a historical place with its Pearl Harbor, and a high-adrenaline destination with its most popular surfing beaches in the world.

Honolulu is the capital of the U.S state of Hawaii and is also its largest city. In Hawaiian, Honolulu means “Calm port” and the city has been ranked as one of the safest cities in the U.S and also rates high on world livability rankings.

Honolulu is the racing pulse of Hawaii with a vibrating nightlife and who would not want to see its iconic crescent beach which has palm trees and high rise hotels dotting the shore and the dormant volcanic Diamond Head Crater in the vicinity. The Waikiki neighborhood is the center of Hawaii for all its nightlife, shopping, and dining.

Tip: Parking is a little costly in the city, so a good idea to move around is the well maintained hop-on and municipal buses. Walking is a good idea in Waikiki as it is a small place.
