The butler was very responsive. We were picked up by a shuttle bus to the cable car station inside the scenic area. When we came down, they were waiting for us at the cable car parking lot in advance. The hotel is very close to the Yuping cable car. The hotel environment is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel's tea room experience was also fantastic, with a dedicated tea master providing service. The restaurant within the hotel has amazing food; it was the best we've had in Huangshan. The service was also great, including free laundry service, with our clothes delivered back to the room after drying. A very good stay overall.

You can truly feel that this isn't just a perfunctory business operation; they've truly dedicated themselves to creating an exceptional product and service. The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forests—peaceful and restorative. Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for. I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart. They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost. It’s rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

Our trip to Huangshan finally happened after 2-3 years of planning. We had to postpone by a day due to Typhoon Bai Hai豚 (White Dolphin), but still re-booked the Baiyun Hotel, knowing it was close to both the sea of clouds and the sunrise. Despite that, I was still a bit anxious looking at the weather forecast. The slow climb up the mountain, with the rain and the pine trees along the steps, was surprisingly refreshing and lifted my spirits considerably. Upon arriving at the Baiyun Hotel, Manager Xiao Min's welcome and care made me feel even warmer. Her greeting, guidance, suggestions to soak our feet after the rain, relax and watch a show, explanations of all the facilities and the buffet, and even tips for watching the sunrise the next day, deeply touched me. The next day, we reached the summit in just over ten minutes to watch the sunrise. Thanks to the warm jacket from Baiyun, my child's hands stayed toasty. Just as I'd hoped, when the full sun emerged, I was even more delighted and grateful for the pines, rocks, and the human touch of Huangshan. I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

The Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

An excellent experience! **Location:** Very convenient. It's only a 20-minute bullet train ride away, and you can walk to MixC (for all your dining and entertainment needs) in 7-8 minutes. There's also a park nearby for a stroll. **Facilities & Hygiene:** Generally great. The room was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the toilet had smart features. Plenty of coffee capsules, mineral water, and tissues. The gym isn't huge but is very popular. The swimming pool is 8x25 meters; during summer, it's busy with kids' classes, but I highly recommend the massage pool and steam room in the changing area. **Service:** I really commend the service. Mindy was fantastic, promptly connecting with me and offering helpful reminders. I especially loved the beautiful executive lounge environment and the high-quality dishes, which truly elevated the hotel's overall service!

He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

I'd been longing to visit Huangshan for ages, and this time, my dream finally came true. I arrived a day early, planning to head straight up the mountain, but I hadn't checked the cable car operating hours. So, I had to find last-minute accommodation at the foot of the mountain. Tangkou Town was packed with guesthouses along the streets, which felt a bit overwhelming. I decided to search for B&Bs on the outskirts of town instead and immediately fell in love with this one. The pure white walls and bright, clean rooms gave the whole place a gentle, relaxing vibe. Many guests praised the auntie's cooking, so I booked it right away. My stay certainly didn't disappoint; both dinners were absolutely delicious – we polished off every dish. The taste was truly amazing. The room was spacious and grand, and the owner even kindly upgraded my room for free. Opening the window, I faced a vast bamboo forest. The evening breeze rustled through the bamboo shoots, and sleeping to the gentle sound of the bamboo was incredibly soothing. There's a path behind the B&B that leads directly to the mountain entrance, and they even have their own tea garden. Before dinner, the owner unhurriedly set up a tea ceremony, explaining the three famous Huangshan teas in detail: the fresh and tender Huangshan Maofeng, the straight and long-lasting Taiping Houkui, and the mellow and rich Qimen Black Tea. There was also the unique Kuibai – made from Houkui fresh leaves using Qimen black tea processing, offering a distinctive flavor. My favorite quote from the owner was: 'When guests arrive, I wholeheartedly take care of travelers from all directions; when I have free time, I make sure to enjoy myself.' No rushed itineraries, no crowds – just stealing a half-day of tranquility at this bamboo forest teahouse. This is the beauty of slowing down at the foot of the mountain.

The hotel boasts a modern Chinese-style decor, with simple yet elegant rooms, new and smart facilities, clean and comfortable bedding, and a quiet, well-insulated room for a good night's sleep. The hotel's service and management are excellent, combining standardized management with a warm, home-like feel. It's conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the west gate of Hongcun Village and also close to Lucun Village. We got up around 6 am to go to Hongcun, returned to the hotel at 8:30 am for breakfast (a wide variety of options), rested in our room for a while, and then went to Lucun Village – it was incredibly convenient. Upon departure, the hotel gave us Huangshan sesame seed cakes as a souvenir, which touched us deeply and gave us a great start to our journey!
