"The hotel is really worth the price!
Cleanliness: good! Nearly perfect; there are still some hairs inside the toilet, but the rest is really good! Keep it up!
Facilities: They have free water to drink near the elevator. I really love that! They also have an express checkout box in front of the hotel to save time! The wifi is good.
The design is also minimal and luxurious~~

Location: It’s around a 6-7 min walk from JR Sapporo, and they have a delicious place to hang out next to the hotel!
space: my room has a semi-double bed, so it’s slightly bigger than usual. It’s a normal Japan hotel size! If you are tall or have a big body, you might find it’s uncomfortable, but for me it’s fine, and there’s some space to pack my luggage!"

"The location is fantastic, just some minutes walk from Sapporo station. From the hotel, it is easy to reach to other places such as Susukino on foot. The room and hotel are fantastic, clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They even offer free snack bar with lots of soft drinks, coffee and cookies that you can use as much as you want during the day and night. Highly recommended and will definitely be back in the future!"

"My fist time experience the Hotel of IHG In Sapporo is wonderful. A new Hotel and it is just opened in mid of July . The hotel facilities are amazing, a full ENG/ CHINESE version to instruct how to use the shower facilities . A Water dispenser provided on each floor . The self service luggage storage also provided lock for each luggage. THe front staffs are friendly and sincere. The senior staff who position at restaurant , he is hard working and efficient . He is able to well manage the floor during the peak . Overall , an impressive stay ."

"Escolhemos um quarto com 3 camas. Eram duas camas de solteiro padrão japonês e uma de solteiro. Era bem espaçoso para nós, uma família de 3 pessoas. O quarto era tão grande que conseguimos abrir duas malas grandes e deixá-las abertas durante toda a estadia. Mas também havia espaço para guardar coisas embaixo da cama. Uma planta muito bem pensada para viajantes com muita bagagem. Fica a um quarteirão do Parque Odori e a cerca de 10 a 15 minutos a pé da área de Susukino, com todas as lojas e restaurantes. Este hotel também oferece um grande spa com onsen (águas termais) para os hóspedes. No térreo também há uma lavanderia automática. Pegamos o ônibus do aeroporto para chegar aqui, pois o ponto de ônibus fica em frente ao hotel. No entanto, para ir ao aeroporto, o ônibus não para aqui. Caminhamos até a Estação JR Sapporo para pegar o trem para o aeroporto. Foram cerca de 15 minutos de caminhada. Com certeza me hospedarei aqui novamente."

LLiduoxiliaolinuolisiI'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

JJanetPOur stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei was truly memorable and one of the best luxury hotel experiences we have had in Japan. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the hospitality from most of the staff was exceptional.
We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at reception (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), who shared that she personally grows the beautiful flowers displayed in the hotel's sitting area. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home.
Mr. Tai, who checked us in, was friendly, patient, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the room features and hotel facilities in detail, making us feel genuinely welcomed.
The cleanliness deserves special recognition. I am particularly sensitive to cleanliness and usually notice dust very easily, yet I could not find a single speck of dirt anywhere in the room. It is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in.
The lounge was another highlight. Each guest received a ¥1,000 alcoholic drink credit, and the complimentary snacks featured premium Hokkaido brands such as LeTAO, Yoshimi and Ryugetsu, making the experience feel truly luxurious.
Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and polished service. The hotel's tasteful interior perfectly complemented the stunning views of the lush greenery and Toyohira River.
We were also delighted to find beautifully cut and chilled melon and strawberries waiting in our room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful welcome that reflected the hotel's exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was equally impressive, with beautifully prepared dishes that made each morning enjoyable.
The private onsen in our room was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, allowing us to relax while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings.
While our overall experience was excellent, I have a few suggestions for improvement.
One Japanese male staff member who was on duty during check-in and later that evening came across as rather cold. On several occasions, I smiled and greeted him, but he did not acknowledge me and simply walked away. The contrast with the warmth shown by the rest of the team was quite noticeable.
As such a premium property, it would also be wonderful if the hotel could offer more cultural or wellness activities, such as tea appreciation sessions, guided evening walks or seasonal experiences. During a previous stay at Capella Singapore, these activities became some of the most memorable parts of our visit, and I believe Chalet Ivy Jozankei has the perfect setting to offer something similar.
I would also like to suggest a different restaurant seating arrangement for tables of four. Currently, only two guests can enjoy the beautiful river and greenery views while the other two face the interior of the restaurant. Arranging the tables perpendicular to the windows would allow all four guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery during their meal.
Lastly, although we appreciated receiving tickets to the Summer Night Illumination Festival, accessing the main street requires walking up a very steep slope that is shared with vehicles, which could be challenging and potentially unsafe for elderly guests. In the future, perhaps a pedestrian bridge connecting Level 5 directly to the street level could improve accessibility and safety.
Overall, Chalet Ivy Jozankei delivered an exceptional luxury experience with outstanding cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality, remarkable cuisine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

Llxxzt3The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom counter was too low. At 185cm, I had to bend over significantly just to wash my face. You can tell it's an older, established hotel, and the facilities are still quite convenient. The front desk wasn't particularly warm, and the service was just average. Also, they didn't provide any extra bottled water, which I found really unacceptable.

GGuest UserRoom is spacious and for the price was a great deal (although noted I was visiting during shoulder season). Beautiful views of the mountain range from the hotel’s lounge on a clear day. I enjoyed the afternoon wine tastings. The muscat grape juice was also delicious! A very nice and relaxing stay at this hotel. It is quite far from the station though, so best to have a car to get to the hotel and get around.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed 6 nights in Hotel Sosei Sapporo. It takes 10-12 minutes walk from Sapporo station, the hotel just located next to Sapporo Factory, a historical building which became a shopping mall.
We satisfied with all the services provided by the hotel, including breakfast, welcome drinks, room service and reception. Most of the hotel staff can speak English, they are friendly and helpful.
Definitely we will stay in this hotel again if visit Sapporo again.

AAnonymous User房間超大，有室內浸浴，景觀一流，設施齊備，若住Executive Suit,可以免費享用lounge 內小食和飲品，酒也是無限飲用。自助餐食物美味，款式多。娛樂設施有驚喜，有乒乓球打，有夾公仔機，可以打機，是迷利版的Gigo。商店購物種類多，有好小朋友玩具賣。露天風呂看到雪山景，體驗到一邊浸温泉，一邊大風雪吹在面上。就算不是露天，室內的風呂也有好美的雪山景觀看。有穿梭巴士送到札幌，非常好。雖然房價不便宜，但物有所值。

GGuest UserKudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.

It's located on the international side of the airport, which makes it incredibly convenient for catching a flight the next day, especially if you're staying your last night there. The hotel is also very comfortable and upscale. The outdoor facilities at the hotel's hot spring are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and fully equipped with smart home technology. The lighting is also great. Highly recommend!

Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area.
Hightlights:
The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch.
Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries.
Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless.
Observations:
Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity.
Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV.
Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door.
Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

AAnonymous UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, and they were even kind enough to offer me a late check-out at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, the public bath was a great feature, and the self-service luggage storage was very convenient.
the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro, it is near a bus stop for the airport limousine. The breakfast variety was a bit more limited compared to other hotels I have visited. Overall, the hospitality made for a wonderful experience.
