"This is my third stay, I had a free upgrade room to Deluxe room, that was really great. For the first two times, I was talking about feeling too cold after shower as cold air from the room will be going into the bathroom through the airventilated door. This time, the room is too warm, the temperature inside the bathroom after shower is just nice, but too warm to sleep at night, covering the quilt makes me too warm, without it would be too cold. Told the receptionist couple of times and they said maintenance had tried to turn it on to the max but the speed was still slow. However, I have a friend staying for the same night in different room, the fan speed of the air-conditioning in his room was really strong. I guess there's something wrong with the air-conditioning in my room. Other than that, everything's great."

"I have to say this is one of the best hotels that I have ever visited. The hotel room is dustless, very clean. The location is very strategic, less than 5 minutes walk to go to Todak waterfront to enjoy seafood, or another 5 minutes walk in opposite direction to go to Suria mall for shopping. The staff here are friendly and dedicated in their services.After checking in, the staff gave me a call to ask me whether I am happy with the condition of the room. The breakfast is awesome, many varieties and very tasty. I am a demanding person, but this hotel does not disappoint me. It should be a role model for other hotels to follow."

"It's a little out of town but I chose it for the close proximity to the beach and swimming ,which is about a 10min walk from the hotel. There are street food and drinks stalls available from about 3pm . Tanjung Aru beach is beautiful, uncrowded and the beach shelves away gently making it a safe swimming area. However, the beach had rubbish washed up and maintenance isn't a priority I guess. I swam everyday and didn't get sick ,that's a bonus. The room ( the whole place)was tired looking, it could do with a lick of paint and maintenance. Room was clean when I got there but I strongly doubt it was cleaned in the entire time I was there for five days. Often had to ask for toilet paper , shampoo and shower gel , and coffee sachets etc ,basics to be stocked whenever housekeeping does their cleaning. Air con worked for me although the settings couldn't be altered ! The bed springs creak and you feel the springs when you sit on the bed but I slept ok only because I was usually exhausted from the day's activities . The beds and mattresses definitely need renewing though. The fridge was mouldy and smelly , what a blooming shame : / The safe was broken - hallelujah! I kept my room door locked at all times only because Reception staff hardly looked up to see who comes and goes- they sit very low,almost out of view at their front desk. I wasn't convinced about their perception of safety especially as I'm a solo female traveller and I need to be alert and take great caution. Casuarina Hotel are you taking note? Reception is helpful but that depends who is present. Lifts work fine without too much of a wait. The cafe on ground level serves an American breakfast but I couldn't tell you whether that's worth your while. It looked like Mary Celeste everytime I peeped in there so wasn't convinced about getting fed or a service. Therefore, I had fruit and snacks as standby .. There's a lovely restaurant a few yards from the hotel called the Yolo Seafood Restaurant which tends to open from 11.30am- delicious and inexpensive with friendly staff. Grab taxi fare to city centre varies from MYR 7- 25 Ringgit ,the higher tariff if returning during commuter rush hours from city centre which is a 15- 25 min ride . Would I stay here again ? I would actually knowing all its idiosyncrasis compared to so many awful or simplly mediocre accommodation charging an arm and a leg , I think Casuarina is just ok . Value for money? I don't think so ."

"Os pratos ficam por sua conta. Nunca tenha um buffet para almoço ou jantar. Existem mais opções para encomendar as suas próprias refeições. O ambiente habitacional está bem. Snorkeling também é ótimo. Os cruzeiros ao pôr do sol recomendam a remoção de detritos do recife. Afeta a impressão geral do hotel. A água do mar é invencível. Especialmente lindo. Tão linda quanto há 10 anos 🤩. A água é da mesma cor das gemas. Quem não veio pode vir brincar."

"Check in was simple and straightforward. Room was very spacious and clean. Room equipped with an induction stove and microwave. However, some of the cooking equipment needs to be refreshed and should be more thoughtful (i.e. providing metal spatula and a non stick pan will only leave guests to scratch the non stick). Nonetheless, the hotel is well located, very near the airport and close enough to the city. Nearby shops at the nearby shopping complex is decent. Appreciate the view from the pool and rooftop."

"I had a wonderful stay at Mapple Home. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything I needed — ironing facilities, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, TV, heater, WiFi, plates, bowls, pots, cutlery, glasses, pans, an electric stove, and a very comfortable mattress. The entire area was spotless and well-maintained. Special thanks to the host, Syafini, for being so helpful in answering all my questions and kindly allowing me to check out late at 12 pm. The sea view was absolutely beautiful and truly healing — I could enjoy the calming view of the ocean right from the bed. Overall, an excellent stay. Highly recommended!"

"This place is truly amazing! All my fellow Chinese travelers, come stay here! The owner is Chinese, so communication was a breeze. Our flight landed late at night, and it wasn't safe to take a taxi outside, so the owner even arranged a pick-up from the airport for us. The hotel just opened recently, and the overall decor is incredibly cozy and beautiful. The rooms are spotless, with no dust in the corners or bathrooms – it was a very comfortable stay. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly kind and generous; they even gave us fruit to eat. When we wanted to buy food at night, the owner helped us out, not wanting my friend and I to encounter any trouble, and they didn't mind the hassle at all. Every day, they'd proactively ask us where we were going and how our day was, patiently recommending and helping us find tours when we wanted to book an island day trip."

"Muito conveniente, a praia fica mesmo à porta e, depois de mergulhar com snorkel, podemos ir diretamente para o quarto. É muito mais prático do que fazer passeios entre ilhas com crianças. Até vimos lagartos e camaleões na ilha, o que é ótimo para tirar fotos. Também tivemos a sorte de ver o pôr do sol. O único ponto negativo é que o quarto não era à prova de som; o piso de madeira fazia com que andar e falar fosse muito barulhento, como se eu estivesse no meu próprio quarto."

"The location is excellent, just a short walk to popular eateries like Shuang Tian, Da Jia Lai, and Tian Xia Ke. I usually don't book breakfast when I reserve a hotel, but I saw a special deal this time and many people raved about the variety, so I decided to try it. There was indeed a good selection, and I especially enjoyed the hot noodles from the noodle station. Oh, one thing I wasn't happy with was the elevator's scent – it was way too strong. I had to hold my breath every time I went in. Could you perhaps choose a more subtle fragrance?"
