I have stayed at this hotel many times with my friends and we loved it.One thing we’re not happy lately is the breakfast .Before they have plenty of options but recently it’s different.
American Village was absolutely beautiful for Christmas! The welcome drink was delicious, and breakfast was decent. The hotel was lively, so it was a bit noisy at night, but earplugs did the trick. Service was good, and the location was even better – super convenient for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Plus, there's a bus back to Naha right next to the Hilton next door.
Pros:
We were upgraded to a family room, which was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The small table on the tatami area was perfect for a relaxing drink.
All the essential facilities were available. Apart from the bathroom feeling a bit dated, the hotel was generally good and quite clean.
There's a direct bus service from the airport to the hotel; we took the Airport Bus OAS on this trip.
The aquarium is relatively close. We couldn't find a taxi on the fireworks night and had to walk for 30 minutes, though it's typically just a 5-minute taxi ride.
Breakfast was decent, but the selection wasn't extensive, so it might get repetitive if you're staying for many days.
Cons:
The pillows had a strange smell, and even after requesting several replacements, we encountered the same issue. Luckily, we had brought our own pillowcases.
It seemed daily housekeeping wasn't provided by default. We returned to find our room hadn't been touched. Fortunately, we ran into a staff member and asked them to clear the trash and replenish our drinking water.

The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to Naminoue Shrine, Naha Port, and the airport. It's quite a distance from American Village, though. The entire place was spotless, and the indoor and outdoor hot springs were incredibly comfortable. After a long day, soaking in them was pure bliss. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
I took bus 143 from Naha Bus Terminal to the American Village (it was the last stop for this bus, not sure where the actual last stop is) and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Since it was before check-in time, I waited in the lobby, where complimentary drinks and cookies were available. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us store our luggage first; the service was excellent. After checking in, we were given an upgraded room, much larger than what we had booked, which was fantastic! American Village at night is beautiful and definitely worth staying for a night.
Location is fantastic if you want a nice quiet beautiful beach. It's right at your doorstep. A convenient store beside the hotel lobby. A few good eateries within walking distance. Nice room with great sea view, likely one of the best you can find (see pics). Only stayed for a night as a stop-over for our road trip. Will definitely stay here again and for a longer period.
The hot spring was fantastic! It's a natural onsen, and I enjoyed it both the night before and again in the morning. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, showing their age, but it’s conveniently located with many dining options nearby. There's also a beautiful lawn by the sea.
Despite being close to the airport, the soundproofing is excellent; I didn't find it noisy at all. It’s very convenient to get to Okinawa Outlet Mall, and it’s a great place for shopping. Plus, there are direct buses from the outlet to the airport, making it a perfect last stop. You can even store your luggage at the mall while you shop. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.
The worst hotel I ever stayed. Didn’t value customer. They can decide to change breakfast arrangement without informing customer in advance, and also deny that they had committed to providing buffet breakfast when buffet breakfast was stated at the website. When we did the booking, it did mentioned is buffet breakfast, and the booking fees we paid as compared to without buffet breakfast is with the difference of JPY3000 per person. However, when we checked-in, we are told the buffet breakfast has been catered by the restaurant for student group. Other hotel guests (including us) are then only provided ‘packaged box breakfast’ which is equiv. JPY500. This is a huge difference compared to the JPY3000 that we paid in addition for buffet breakfast. They denied promising on the buffet breakfast.
It is inconvenienced for food/dinner as although there is restaurant opposite the hotel, the restaurant will charge you JPY550 per person for table fee.
We end up to drive 10 minutes further for breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of cheap restaurant over there.
The following are the replied form hotel on our feedback:

Please note that your booking includes breakfast, but it is not guaranteed to be a buffet. Breakfast is typically served buffet-style at the restaurant Ilikai, featuring Okinawan, Japanese, and Western dishes made with island vegetables, along with desserts. However, depending on guest numbers and conditions on the day, a set menu may be provided instead. We kindly ask for your understanding that the buffet may be replaced with a Japanese- Western set menu based on reservation availability.
Awesome resort with all the amenities. Was expecting dedicated kids play room but it was not available. But the beach pool, area was enough to keep the toddler occupied . View from the room was stunning . Location of the hotel is very remote . With own vehicle it will be very convenient to stay in this resort .
Fantastic hotel. None of us, especially the kids, wants to leave the hotel at check-out.
They upgrade my room from level 6 to 9 premium club. It paid off to stay in an ocean facing room.
The room is clean and well maintained. Although this is not a new hotel (where lifts require cardkey) the rooms locks are cardkey based. Bed is a bit hard for me, but were just as hard for the other hotels i stayed there :^_^:.
The breakfast spread is wide and tasty. The restaurant can get crowded over weekend (but you can still managed to find a seat).
The beach lagoon is shallow and water is super clean and calm.
There are big malls/outlet, restaurants and super markets within 5~10 min drive.
It's around 20min drive to popular attractions like Okinawa world, Gandala valley, Chinen Park, Peace memorials, etc.
There is also free performance at 6pm on Fri/Sat evening, which IMO is better than those at theme parks.
The hotel gives 10% coupon for outlet and Iias mall (remember to use).
Note parking is still charged, at 550y per night, which seems to be standard for resort hotels in Okinawan (?)

TTingOnTheGoRooms are big and spacious but, it feels this hotel is understaffed as our room is quite filthy and looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. Firstly, the bed looked like someone just lied on it and the beds were skew, secondly the fridge was really filthy, they dnt even bother cleaning it, and thirdly, there’s lots of footprints on the floor which means they dnt have enough time to mop the dirt on the floor. Oh, and we had another issue with the room, TV will automatically switch on by itself at odd hours😬 We had difficulty communicating with the staff as their English is not that fluent.
But overall, it’s a great family hotel, I absolutely loved the facilities, kids had loads of fun at the pool and were crazy about the slides as well as the facilities on the beach. Extra bonus to the “happy hour drinks” (from 3-6pm, 9-11pm ).
BBanlimamaI was initially very pleased with the hotel's location. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, and there were also two breakfast options. However, the only truly unpleasant experience occurred during check-in. The young male staff member at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage. I eventually went back to the front desk to inquire about my bags, only to find them unceremoniously dumped in a corner, completely unattended. It was only after I made a forceful complaint in English that a staff member hurriedly delivered the luggage to my room. Because I formally submitted a complaint, a staff member later proactively contacted me and offered water park coupons, which showed they were taking the matter seriously. Given we were a family with elderly parents and young children, traveling during the peak summer heat, I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation, as I really didn't want any more hassle. Aside from that, the remainder of our stay was quite pleasant. Although the room facilities were noticeably dated, they were acceptable.
ZZhuyuanyurundezhuyingAfter comparing several resorts in the central region, we finally settled on Moon Beach. I was initially worried about the hotel being a bit older, but now I have no regrets about choosing it. The breakfast selection was extensive. If you sleep in and miss breakfast, you can simply switch it for lunch instead. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel lobby, which is incredibly convenient. It would have been perfect if the weather had been a bit better. All in all, I highly recommend this place when visiting Onna Village.
ししおり旅I shiori TripI want to use it again.
I didn't have a license, so I searched for the location and facilities of the hotel and booked it.
Especially good was that there was a rental cycle, there was a large bath, and it was 10 minutes walk north of Yonaha Beach. I went to Yonaha North Beach to see the sunset, but I could see the best view.
It is more than a business hotel than a resort hotel, but there is everything you need and you don't have to worry. And I was able to rest slowly in the quiet building with a large communal bath.
※ There are no rice shops or convenience stores nearby, but there was a restaurant in the building.
GGuest UserSince 2015, we have visited this hotel numerous times and always enjoyed its wide array of amenities. The hotel features a game room, public bath, spa, and sauna, ensuring guests have plenty of ways to relax and unwind. Additionally, it offers a diverse menu of activities, including unique marine sports, making it perfect for those seeking adventure. Situated within the Okinawa National Beach Park, the hotel provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to step out and enjoy the beautiful coastline.
The hotel also houses three stores, offering convenient shopping options at any time. We especially appreciated receiving free coupons when room service wasn’t required. Breakfast at the hotel is truly exceptional, with a variety of choices available. We particularly enjoyed the sushi bowls served on two mornings during our stay. The dining area is thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that ensures privacy between tables. Dining while gazing at the stunning sea view was a delightful experience.
However, one issue marred our otherwise pleasant stay. On the night of our arrival, two family members used the public bath and were informed that the fee was 300 yen per person. Yet, upon checkout, we discovered we had been charged 1800 yen for their visit. Despite asking the receptionist twice for clarification, she insisted this was the correct charge for two people. My family members noted that other guests had paid 300 yen in cash before entering the bath, but since they didn’t have cash on hand, the fee was billed to our room. This discrepancy felt unfair and left us disappointed.
Overall, despite this billing issue, we greatly enjoyed our time at Rizza Sea Park Hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
SSdehuayanglvtuThere are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age.
There is a shuttle bus on the coast south of Shigira. It is really a big bus. It runs every half an hour during the day and every quarter of an hour after dinner time, making the transportation in this area quite convenient.
There is no FamilyMart or 711 in the entire southern area, and there is no decent beach, including the largest Shigira Beach. The beach in front of the hotel is basically not a beach.
The hotel itself has no recreational facilities, just a very small swimming pool, which is not only small in area, but also less than 1.2 meters deep, basically for children to play. Before noon and before dinner, it will be crowded with Japanese kids who come to travel until there is no space.
Fortunately, there are groups chasing turtles in this area, so it is convenient to go there. To go to other places, such as Yonaha and Ikema Island, you can only drive or take a taxi. It is also difficult to get a taxi at night, and the bus stops after 18:00. So you can play in whichever area you live in. If you charter a car to go around the island, it doesn't feel like you are playing on the island.
But it is still a very quiet choice, a kind of lying down vacation. If you want to have dinner around, you have to make an appointment in advance. There are quite a lot of facilities in the room, and you can also wash clothes.

AAnonymous UserIt is convenient to reach the resort via express bus from Naha Bus Terminal or from the airport. Bus 117 goes directly to the resort front lobby, a 2.5 hours Bus ride as we did not drive. Once you alighted from the bus, you are greeted by the emerald-coloured sea, made me felt so relaxed and worth the bus ride. The room is big and overlooked the sea, I can sit at the balcony and enjoy the view with a cup of tea all day long. The resort is within the Ocean Expo Park, so can just walk to the Okinawa Chutaumi Aquarium and the various sites. The Emerald beach is right in front of the resort and can just walk over after breakfast to enjoy the cool sea breeze and sea water. We will definitely stay at this resort again if we come back to okinawa again.
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)This hotel is motel style kind of resort with private beach, expensive but cheaper than the other similar hotels in the Onna area which are also by the beach. I had a ground floor room so didn't have a view (garden view) but if you stay in the upper levels you should get a view of the ocean and beach. The beach is just a few minute walk behind the hotel, and is a small secluded beach with a little reef and is quite lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is dated though. Each room has a patio. You can buy snorkelling gear from the small lobby, and there is a small hotel restaurant which serves decent buffet breakfast. I chose this hotel because of the price and also it is close to Cape Maeda where the blue cave is, but you can also do a little snorkelling at the private beach too. It is more convenient to drive there, but they charge 100 yen a day for parking.
