✨ THE HIGHS: 1. That View Though! — WOW. Floor-to-ceiling windows serving utterly unobstructed, Instagram-worthy vistas of the ocean. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset? Absolutely priceless. 2. Plush and Tech-Savvy Room — The king bed was cloud-like—firm yet cozy. Blackout curtains, a slick Bluetooth speaker, and a well-stocked minibar made the stay extra comfortable. It’s clear they didn’t cut corners on in-room amenities. 3. Front-Desk service — Cici ! Shoutout to Cici at reception—what a gem! She was not only polite and efficient but went above and beyond to make sure my room preferences were met pronto. Now that’s what I call five-star service! 4. Anna’s Next-Level Attentiveness Big thanks to Anna from housekeeping. She promptly brought up bottled water, and when she realized I needed a disposable tub bag for the bath, she dashed back to fetch one. Now that’s going the extra mile! ⚠️ THE OOPS MOMENT: · Bathroom Blunder Alright, here’s the not-so-great part: the bathtub had a looong strand of hair (clearly from the previous guest). Yeah, not the end of the world, but for a hotel of this caliber? That’s a basic miss. 🎯 FINAL VERDICT: Stunning room, killer views, and staff like Cici and Anna who truly get hospitality right. But Marriott—y’all gotta tighten up the cleaning checks. If you do, this place would be nothing short of perfection. Still, would I recommend it? For that epic ocean view and standout service? 22896Room: Plenty of space. Bed: Single, but the size was fine. There was a small stuffed animal on the premises. Toilet: Average. Shower: Small amount of water, but water pressure and temperature were fine. Smell: No particular smell that bothered me. Noise: Nothing in particular that bothered me. Breakfast: Sufficient variety and quality. Used on a business trip. Facilities are generally old. It was summer vacation season, but I was glad I could get a relatively good rest.

ZzzleonThe room was spacious and quiet, and the environment was clean, typical of an established five-star hotel. I woke up early and went for a swim in the pool; it's 25x10 meters, with excellent water quality and a comfortable temperature. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. Perhaps due to the Spring Festival, it was extremely crowded, but the management was well-organized, with staff guiding guests to tables. I wanted to take two eggs for my child who was still sleeping in and asked a staff member for a takeaway box, but they didn't provide one, stating that my booking only included one breakfast and take-away wasn't allowed. I must have overlooked this when booking, so I can't blame them. There was ample parking, though it's quite deep, on level B4. The MixC shopping mall and May Fourth Square are just a convenient 10-minute walk away.

SShuishengyunqi0692 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms – the room was incredibly comfortable, and it had an amazing sea view. It was clean, cozy, and beautiful. What's more, it's really close to MixC, which makes shopping super convenient. The attractions nearby are also less crowded than the old town. You can even watch the May Fourth Square light show at night! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao. 🍵

8852 Serendipitous LifeOverall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained. To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language. The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads. There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you. Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year. For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

GGramco songwanQingdao Haitian Hotel receives a perfect score! My stay here was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to the hotel's butler-style service. Communication was timely and efficient throughout, they were incredibly responsive to every request, and the attention to detail was thoughtful and thorough. It truly felt like a home away from home, making me feel incredibly welcome and warm. The special touch of finding local Qingdao beverages was a delightful surprise. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Third Bathing Beach and close to Badaguan. It's super convenient for seaside strolls and sightseeing, making exploring effortless. The room offered expansive views, was well-equipped, and exceptionally comfortable. Summer is peak season in Qingdao, and with its excellent sea views and prime location, I highly recommend booking your room in advance to avoid disappointment due to it being fully booked. Highly recommended!

While the hotel has a classic, older feel, it's very well-maintained. The rooms are great, and the winter pricing was a real bargain. The housekeeping staff are also very diligent. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes with good flavors. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive. They even gave us a free room upgrade during check-in. The room itself was very spacious, though the facilities were definitely a bit dated. The view was amazing though, with a beautiful Golden Beach panorama right outside the window. It's a bit of a walk from the hotel to Golden Beach, but overall, the service was thoughtful and kind, and the value for money was excellent. Qingdao's Huangdao district offered a much better experience than the city center during Chinese New Year.

MM599736****Five-star review! Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort is incredibly worthwhile. The room we booked was a delightful surprise. The balcony offers a direct view of Aoshan Bay, and watching the sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning! It's just a hundred meters walk to the Ocean Bromide Salt Hot Springs, so you can enjoy both a relaxing soak and ocean views. The kids' water park kept my child entertained to no end. The window seats really set a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and even proactively upgraded our room. The service was attentive to every detail. This is definitely our top choice for a family vacation, and we'll be back next time!

LLizzz5510Easily the best hotel we stayed at. It was more affordable than anything we found in Beijing or Shanghai and better in every way. The service was exceptional, and everything was spotless. We received individually packaged fresh towels every single day, which really stood out. The room itself was incredible: spacious, with a queen-size bed and a fantastic view. The location couldn’t be better; right next to a large shopping mall and just steps from two metro stations. The hotel also has a bakery and restaurant downstairs, which was super convenient. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough.
