A Pleasant Stay With Good Location N Breakfast Paya Bunga Hotel is located smackingly next to centre of everything..The bus station,Pasar Kedai Payang and also UTC,making it super convenient for travellers and holiday-makers.Kudos to the hotel’s staff who are so utterly Sopan and Friendly.Thanks a lot for upgrading my room to a bigger one.This hotel is a good choice for those looking for a good variety of breakfast too..and prefer local food.

The good: Gorgeous resort. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable room. Great breakfast spread. It lives up to the Marriott brand for sure. The bad: Slow service at the restaurants. It looks like the restaurants are understaffed. There was also room confusion - I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and 1 room for 2 nights. But when the guests for 2 nights checked in, showing reservation slip for 2 noughts, they were given a 3-night room. When the 3-night guests check in a few hours later, we were told to swap rooms, instead of just making changes in the system. Gosh. It was after we insisted that changes were made in the system instead of the 2 of us packing to swap rooms. Public areas like the reception area and the Greatroom are like saunas. But we were told that the high cost of diesel due to the war in Iran has forced the hotel to not run their air conditioning on full capacity - this is forgivable.

The service and the people were honestly so nice super friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the bus driver who drove us to and from our rooms the whole trip. The rooms were okay, I’d give them a 4/5. But the food? Absolutely terrible. This was hands down the worst food I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. The boiled eggs were rotten, the bread was old and stale there was literally nothing worth eating. As for the private beach… total disaster. You have to go down a lot of stairs just to get to this so-called beach, which ended up being full of garbage and sharp rocks. Definitely not the relaxing beach experience anyone would hope for.

We were very delighted at the ease of bookings for our stay, speedboat transfers, scuba diving and snorkelling trips. The moment we arrived at Besut Jetty, they had their team to facilitate parking of our car and efficiently got us on the speedboat as it was raining earlier and might rain again in the afternoon. By the time we arrived and checked in, our rooms were ready, cleaned and smelled fresh too contrary with all the reviews I’ve read recently especially when it comes to peak season. All the amenities were there and functional. Even my city kids were impressed as they’ve stayed at other island resorts before. The ambience at night was very lively at the restaurant, friendly flying lemurs and squirrels, tasty variety dishes from the restaurant, fire show, swings by the beach. The recreational centre such as the kayak, snorkelling and scuba diving can be better for the premium rate that they are charging. Warning: check every calculation carefully as they have this NO REFUND policy. I would suggest for rental of games to make family holidays more fun on days when it is raining.

We’ve truly enjoyed our stay at Peridot. The Long Beach Villa room is beautifully decorated. The view from the room is breathtaking & it's really nice to be waking up by the sound of sea waves. Love their L'Occitane toiletries as well.  However, as the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, there are not many amenities available around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were so hungry after a long drive from SG, but the restaurant was closed at 2pm. The only options we were offered were to go to the other hotels' restaurants along the beach. The à la carte menus provided did not have much variety either. To get halal food was quite a distance from Peridot. But no choice; after freshening up, we walked along the beach and just asked around if we could have our late lunch there. Breakfast varieties were limited. For the price we paid, it could have been better. I love their chicken nuggets, though!  At night, it can be quite quiet around the area, but it was not an issue for us, as we love the quiet vibes and enjoy our peaceful nights there. The WIFI connection was really bad. So we got to use our data most of the time. Apart from the food issue, the rooms had power trips quite frequently on our 2nd & 3rd days of our stay there.  Overall it was a great experience for us. The room is clean, and basic amenities are fulfilled. Please note they are still in their soft launch; expect to be fully operational by March 2026. I hope I can come back by then & the facilities will be fully functional and improved.

It was a great experience at Alunan Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The villa was clean, spacious, and had breathtaking views of the sea. We loved the rooftop deck for relaxing, and the snorkeling trip arranged by the resort was fantastic. The food at the restaurant was also delicious OMG we do have great time eating here with a variety of choices. Would definitely return!

Ao chegar ao aeroporto, o ônibus Laguna o levará diretamente ao cais e depois ao hotel. Recomenda-se usar traje de banho por baixo, pois demora um pouco para fazer o check-in. Existem vários tipos de refeições para as três refeições, existindo também alguns pratos especiais. O hotel dispõe de alguns serviços adicionais, como aluguer de câmaras subaquáticas, observação de tartarugas, etc. Não se esqueça de trazer dinheiro suficiente, a cantina só aceita dinheiro, e traga alguns medicamentos necessários (medicamentos anti-inflamatórios, medicamentos para eczema e analgésicos no caso de emergências) Foi necessário, porque tive amigdalite depois que fui para a ilha e não havia nada que pudesse fazer a respeito. Aí tomei dois analgésicos e salvei minha vida.) As despesas relacionadas ao hotel podem ser cobradas no quarto. Ok, ainda sinto que é uma boa hora para ir. Água muito bonita. Além disso, certifique-se de não tocar nos flutuadores que flutuam na água, pois eles podem facilmente ser infectados por bactérias.

We had an unexpectedly beautiful 4D3N stay at Redang Divers Resort. Initially hesitant due to the 3.2 rating, we booked as it was the only available option, but it turned out to be the best decision.From the warm yet respectful service by Wei to meeting the humble owners Adrian and his wife, everything felt genuine and comfortable. The food was outstanding (we truly miss the food!) honestly among the best we had in Redang.The beachfront view was amazing, white sand and turquoise sea right in front of our room. Simple, raw island vibes, clean rooms, and a truly heartfelt experience for our family. A small note: the toilet flooring could use an upgrade, but we understand refurbishment is already underway with the new management.Not a “luxury” resort, but definitely 5-star in heart, service, and overall experience.We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making us feel at home!

A localização era ótima; Há uma viagem de 30 a 45 minutos de balsa para chegar ao hotel; É uma lancha rápida, o que pode não ser conveniente o suficiente para algumas pessoas; Meu filho de 9 anos ficou doente na balsa; Em relação ao hotel, quando pegamos nosso quarto, o banheiro não estava limpo o suficiente; Tínhamos reservado uma suíte Bayview de 2 quartos, mas as janelas do quarto principal estavam trancadas e quebradas, então não pudemos abri-las e aproveitar o suficiente, considerando que os copos também não estavam limpos;
