Shō Hotel is a fairly new hotel, bear in mind that it’s located in Jelutong and it’s 15 min of driving to Georgetown. It’s situated in a nearby quiet neighbourhood. It has all the facilities, gym, laundry room, swimming pool, bar, and not forget to mention there are 2 EV charging bays in LG basement parking level (40kW each with reasonable price - download Renergy app), free parking, welcome drinks for every day of stay, etc. The room is too spacious till looks empty I might say.  Few complaints I have to highlight: 1. Water pressure isn’t strong enough to cool down my body after a long day walking around Penang. 2. There is unpleasant cleaning detergent smell when opening the room door. Hope the management could do something to improve it. 3. Basement parking can be narrow for bigger car or MPV. 4. The bathroom glass is black, however we still can see the shadow of the person having a dump or taking a shower.

As quartos são bem cuidados, confortáveis e limpas.O buffet de pequeno-almoço TEM UMA ampla variedade de opções e é Muito delicioso.Este hotel é Muito remoto e está a 50 minutos de carro de Georgetown ...., MAS a vista do mar vale a pena viajar extra. Nice,clean,affordable,comfortable and close to city and close to great places and food,amenities should also include toothbrushes set too,it would be a great addition

It was my husband's ***** birthday on the day we checked in, so I had requested a simple room decoration beforehand. The hotel room staff told me they would fold two elephants out of towels, which I thought was already very thoughtful! Then, they even sent up a cake, which I really appreciated! These warm gestures made our Penang trip truly memorable. The room was clean and comfortable, and even though it was a little dated, it wasn't run-down. I was very satisfied with this experience and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Great hospitality and service throughout my stay in Penang Amari Spice Hotel. Upon arrival, the reception team kindly upgraded me to a Premier King room without any request, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant scent—everything was excellent. I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the midnight team on 21/03/2026. During our stay, my friend suddenly fell seriously ill during midnight . We attempted to call emergency services (999), but unfortunately were unable to get through to the nearby general hospital immediately. The situation was critical, and waiting another 10–20 minutes could have put my friend’s life at risk. Thankfully, the Penang Amari hotel team acted swiftly and professionally. They followed up with us, and the female manager along with the guy management team arrived promptly to assess the situation. They provided immediate support and helped arrange transportation to the nearest hospital, ensuring we arrived within 10 minutes. Thanks to their quick response and care, my friend’s life was saved. And even after check out they still texting us to concern on the guest safety. We are deeply grateful for their kindness, efficiency, and dedication during such a critical moment. Wishing the entire team continued success and all the very best. Thank you once again for going above and beyond. Peharps this able to fully credit to the team.

A casa de banho e a cama eram geralmente confortáveis, e a limpeza geral era aceitável, mas o design do chuveiro permitiu que a água fluisse facilmente e inundasse o piso do banheiro.O balcão também não era agradável devido às frequentes coroas e pigeões. A privacidade era uma preocupação, pois o balcão vizinho estava diretamente ao nosso lado, permitindo que outros olhem para a sala. Uma questão que me preocupava era ver um empregado de Casa a esfregar UMA roupa suja e lavar a água para fora. Não tomei fotos ou vídeos porque não Queria causar problemas para o pessoal, MAS acredito que a gestão de hotéis deve manter normas de supervisão e higiene mais rigorosas. A caminhada para a praia através do Café de Miami era suja e tinha muitas mosquitas, e a própria praia estava tranquila com poucos visitantes.Na minha opinião, não é um destino atraente para a praia. No lado positivo, o pequeno-almoço foi muito bom com uma grande variedade de opções, conforme o padrão esperado dos hotéis Hilton.

Tive uma estadia absolutamente maravilhosa no PARKROYAL Penang! Desde o momento em que chegamos, tudo foi tranquilo e acolhedor. O serviço foi excelente e toda a equipe — da recepção à limpeza — foi profissional, atenciosa e prestativa. Surpreendi meu marido com um presente de aniversário durante nossa estadia, e a equipe do hotel tornou tudo ainda mais especial enviando a surpresa de aniversário depois que voltamos da piscina, um gesto muito carinhoso. Meu marido também planejou me surpreender no nosso aniversário de casamento, e embora a decoração de cisne na cama tenha sido colocada depois da nossa chegada, eu realmente apreciei o esforço; foi romântico e tornou o momento inesquecível. O jantar e o café da manhã estavam absolutamente deliciosos, com grande variedade, ingredientes frescos e uma apresentação impecável. A experiência gastronômica no Restaurante Cinnamon foi ainda melhor graças à calorosa hospitalidade de Nadia, Hidayah e toda a equipe. Um agradecimento especial a Zeyati, nossa funcionária do serviço de quarto, por sua gentileza e atenção aos detalhes, e ao mensageiro que nos ajudou com as malas com tanta eficiência. Um grande agradecimento aos dois membros incríveis da equipe do Kids Club (desculpem, esqueci o nome deles, mas tenho uma foto). Eles foram muito atenciosos e carinhosos com as crianças. Meus filhos os adoraram, e o carinho deles fez toda a diferença na nossa estadia. Agradecemos muito o esforço e a dedicação deles! O quarto era limpo e espaçoso, as instalações eram de primeira linha e o acesso à praia foi perfeito para uma escapada relaxante. A hospitalidade demonstrada pela equipe superou as expectativas. Tudo foi excelente e agradeço muito o cuidado e a atenção de todos no PARKROYAL Penang. Com certeza voltaremos! Por favor, deem o devido reconhecimento a toda a equipe! Eles são simplesmente incríveis.

Booked the biggest unit available which was Hutton 8, 3 Bedroom. Felt in love the moment we open the doors, the smell of wood, rustic and filled with post heritage decorations, there are some setbacks but overall the stay was almost to my satisfactory. The setbacks are, the television given was very small for a huge house so we cannot really see and hear properly. Secondly, the living room is very very very very humid, there is a ceiling fan but all 6 of us are sweating when we sit on the sofa especially during day time.

Not maintain hotel Too many broken things : hair dryer, main door lock, shower hose. And shower gel is not refill and empty. And when i called reception at 10pm , nobody pickup. Its late because we reach the hotel late. Luckily there is qr that we can scan to ask for amenities. But when check out, i already address the issue, hope they fix it
