"O serviço de recepção é excelente, eficiente, cheio de sorrisos, não poderia pedir mais. No entanto, a vista para o mar que recebi era uma que vinha com duas fileiras de sacos de areia e uma ponte de ferro em um trecho de praia sem espreguiçadeiras e definitivamente não é adequado para nadar. O design do chalé é bem antigo, evidente pela fechadura da janela e da porta da varanda. O jantar no Spice Market foi de outro mundo! Deve experimentar! Há dois restaurantes disponíveis para o café da manhã do hotel todas as manhãs e você pode visitar os dois todos os dias. De qualquer forma, permita-me repetir, a equipe da recepção foi fabulosa!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at Resort World Langkawi. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which makes it perfect for travellers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer any questions I had during my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides free parking, which was very convenient since I had rented a car to explore the island. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and roughly a 10-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, making it easy to reach popular spots while still enjoying a peaceful stay. One thing to note is that there is only a single mini mart within the hotel and the prices are a bit on the higher side. On my first morning, I ordered breakfast through Grab instead, which was still convenient since delivery services can reach the hotel easily. The room floor had some visible stubborn stains and the hotel does not provide room slippers, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you prefer not to walk barefoot in the room. Overall, it’s still a good option for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Langkawi, especially if you plan to drive around the island."

"A Beautiful Family Stay with Thoughtful Hospitality & Memorable Experiences We had a beautiful stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, where we booked a two-bedroom ocean-view suite and visited with our parents. From the thoughtful little details to the genuinely warm hospitality, there were many moments that made our stay special. It was my father’s birthday during our stay, and we had requested a special welcome for him when we checked in. The team went above and beyond with a personalised note, a tasteful balloon and paper birthday decorations on the bed, along with a vegan chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious — incredibly creamy and simply melted in our mouths. It was such a lovely surprise and a wonderful way to begin our stay. The entire team was very warm, supportive and accommodating throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach-facing pool, the beautiful beach and the breathtaking views around the resort. On our last day, both rooms in our suite had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful local flower tea setup on the beds along with pillow mists. These little touches really made us feel cared for. We also had a small unexpected situation on our last evening, and what stood out to us was not the situation itself, but the way the team handled it. The housekeeping team had inadvertently picked up my mother’s phone, and once the mix-up was realised, it was immediately handed over to the housekeeping manager. We were understandably quite taken aback initially, but the management handled the matter with genuine concern and gave us a very heartfelt apology. It was clear that it had been an honest mistake and that the team genuinely cared about how we felt. Fakhruddin, the housekeeping manager, went a step further and personally gave my father a lovely luxury bath and body set as an apology. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to carry it on our flight and had to leave it behind, but after reaching the airport and confirming that we could take it with us on our domestic flight, we called Fakhruddin. He personally arranged for someone to bring the gift pack all the way to the airport for us. That level of effort and personal involvement truly deserves appreciation. Beyond the resort itself, we also had some wonderful experiences nearby. The fire show by Budak Api Movement at Hidden Cafe, right next to the resort, was mesmerising. We simply walked down the beach at night and enjoyed the show — such a memorable experience. We also enjoyed a fine-dining experience at Lancava. The food was prepared fresh with so much care in the live open kitchen. We were asked about our dietary preferences right at the entrance, and within minutes we were seated at a beautifully set table and served exceptionally well-crafted vegetarian dishes. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast at Cassia was also enjoyable, with a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options. One area we feel could be improved, however, is the Indian food. Although there is a separate Indian food counter, we found that the dishes were quite far from authentic Indian flavours. For Indian guests, this could be disappointing, and we would definitely recommend expanding the Indian selection while also working on making the existing dishes more authentic. Overall, our stay was filled with beautiful moments, thoughtful surprises and genuinely caring hospitality. The resort has a wonderful location, beautiful views, great facilities and, most importantly, a team that clearly makes an effort to make guests feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at PARKROYAL Langkawi and would happily return."

"This Hilton resort, newly opened in April '26, offers excellent value for money compared to the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons on the island, at less than half the price! It's located near Oriental Village, a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Getting to Cenang Beach takes about half an hour by taxi from the hotel, but honestly, once you've seen Cenang, you probably won't want to leave the resort anyway. The hotel boasts a gorgeous beach-style swimming pool, and the private beach is also large, beautiful, and very clean! The pool is divided into a children's pool and a family pool. There are sun loungers both by the pool and on the beach. I felt like I spent half my time just lounging by the pool! There are three restaurants at the hotel. The breakfast restaurant, Ginger Fire, is on the ground floor. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the ingredients are fresh and quite good! There's also an Italian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. I tried the Italian place, which mainly served pizzas, risottos, and pasta. It wasn't particularly amazing, but not bad either. I didn't try the Chinese restaurant. The hotel gym is pretty good, with excellent equipment, even a Pilates reformer. I went every morning around 7 AM and it was practically empty. The hotel also offers some activities, like beach stretching at 7 AM (though the instructor seemed like some random guy, very unprofessional, more about setting a mood). I didn't join other activities, but it felt like most guests here just relaxed by the pool, doing their own thing. Since it's newly opened and hasn't been heavily promoted in China, we encountered very few Chinese tourists, which probably explains why the prices haven't been inflated yet. The transportation here isn't the most convenient, but honestly, the main beach area in Langkawi or Kuah Town can be quite dirty and run-down. So, being a bit secluded with fewer people and beautiful scenery is actually quite nice! The hotel is new, and there are plenty of staff who are generally friendly, but some service details still need improvement. For example, there's no non-slip mat in the bathroom, and the front desk sometimes messes up booking information (e.g., they told me my booking was for two people when I had paid for three breakfasts, and I had to show them my confirmation!). Regarding bookings: I received two different responses via email about children staying at the hotel! One email said that for a 13-year-old child, it would be an additional 150 MYR (including an extra bed and breakfast, and the price was the same even without an extra bed). Another email replied that a 13-year-old child could stay for free, only needing to pay for the child's breakfast. In the end, I booked through a travel platform, directly reserving for three people with breakfast but no extra bed. "Esqueci de tirar foto do quarto deluxe. Para o quarto deluxe, tudo é igual, exceto pela ausência de banheira. 4-5 minutos de distância da praia. Para mim, reservar um quarto deluxe é bom. Porque você passará a maior parte do tempo na piscina enquanto aproveita o pôr do sol e a vista da praia. Se você vier com sua família, deve escolher Frangipani. Este resort não é lotado. Então você não precisa se preocupar com seus filhos incomodando os outros. Obrigado à equipe que nos ajudou a conseguir um novo quarto deluxe perto da minha villa com jardim."
