We visited almost all the onyado nono in Japan. This one is good as usual, one difference is little private onsen in the room. The water quality is good. Although it is a bit far from station, it offers free shuttle tram ticket (the tram is at the doorstep). The glass museum nearby was worth visiting.
Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm completely touched by my experience at this hotel. First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands.
Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me!
( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
It’s a beautiful place to stay with decent amenities. But do note, there’s only one bus line to get there, so it’s not convenient unless you are driving. Resort is cleaned daily. Self-check in was a little confusing, as there is no staff manning the area at night. But staff was very responsive by email. There was a group of travellers who were very noisy (shouting across the house) and did not use the onsen in the proper way, making it dirty.
Excellent. Will definitely stay when returning again. Delicious dinner and breakfast with attentive service. Great experience overall. Hotel was comfortably warm despite snowing during our stay. The staff even cleared the snow on our car in the morning before we left. Very thoughtful. Thanks to all the staff for wonderful stay.
Very close to toyama station (just a few minutes ride) good choice if you are going to the alpine the next day
With onsen but the water is not hot enough
The hotel is a bit old but clean
Meals are nice

Very Good
TThere’s A World To SeeReally enjoyed that onsen!
This is a fantastic place to stay with an amazing breakfast buffet, a lounge where you can make creative tradition Japanese arts, big rooms, friendly staff and most of all an amazing onsen.
The onsen here is maybe one of the best we’ve been to and we’ve been to a lot, it even offers a cold bath if that’s your kind of thing.
The down sides (which very minor) are the WiFi which was pretty weak and the fact you’d need to have a car to get out there (which we did, but for some this may be a problem).
Nevertheless, this place is a 10/10 would highly recommend.
SSotongballTakoyakiCame here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce.
The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths.
The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry.
The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in.
A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists.
TTianzeAwesome hotel, I didn’t see a high rating when I booked Ctrip. I have been hesitating to make a reservation. However, the B&B in Baichuan Township is a wooden house structure that is too old. I chose this hotel. The hot springs are superb and the rooms are clean and looks like It didn't take long for the decoration, everything was very new, and I will definitely visit again in Shirakawa Township next time.
GGuest UserThe overall service is good, but when booking online, I saw that it was a twin room, and I mistakenly thought it was for two people. However, when I arrived, I was told that it was only for one person, and that one more person would have to pay 5,100 yen. When I checked in, I felt like I was being cheated, which affected my experience. We hope that hotels and TRIP.COM can inform guests of relevant information more clearly and easily on the booking page.
In addition, the hotel provides free coffee and travel leaflets. There are also baths and massage chairs to relieve fatigue during the day.
There is a 7-11 near the hotel and very close to the station.
GGuest UserThe hotel is within walking distance of Toyama Station, the Museum of Glass, Toyama Castle Park, and the City Hall Observation Deck. The Sakurabashi tram stop is right outside the door, which is very convenient for getting to the station with luggage.
AAndyStealth place, scenic spot
The accommodation needs to check in by yourself. The key lock also needs to call through Japan to ask for the accommodation password. It is better to have more preparation.
Parking location
5 rooms share 2 large shower rooms, there are wind couples in the shower rooms, and a small hot spring with wind couples on the sea. It is very private and very good.
Accommodation can rent his kitchen or cook with the accommodator
The room is very comfortable
GGuest UserThe hot spring is very good, it is alkaline water, especially good for the skin, after soaking, the skin feels bright and comfortable. The hot spring is very large, there are various ways to soak, the outdoor open-air hot spring is also very beautiful, there is a bubble pool indoors, and there is also a strong impact to heal tired legs.
The kaiseki cuisine is delicious, Toyama Prefecture has very good seafood, every night is very exquisite.
The waiters are very good, and there are also waiters who understand Chinese.
There is a spectacular snow scene in winter, and there are two medium-sized ski resorts next to it, which is convenient for skiing.
GGuest UserVery close to toyama station (just a few minutes ride) good choice if you are going to the alpine the next day

ССтанислав СвидерскийThis is our first rayon. General impressions are great!!! Very interesting experience. Staff very, very straight-a-friendly. Food is fresh seafood, rice, local soups. You can't say it is not delicious. Delicious. It's a lot of it, but after the third table like this, you want something with the pasta:)))) the room was cleaned every day. There is a transfer to the station. The view from the window is beautiful. In general a quiet place designed for resting with the soul and the body!!!
Below is a photo of the hotel and the nearby locations.
GGuest UserAs one of the top ten ”art hotels” in Japan, the entire resort stands quietly in the quiet mountains and waters of Jinzu Gorge in Toyama Prefecture, which is refreshing and especially suitable for relaxation.
@Resort🈶23 guest rooms of different styles,🈶two unique ”Japanese & Western SPA” hot springs♨️,🈶More than 300 works of art are carefully arranged in every corner inside and outside the hotel, which are worth slowly appreciating,🈶Library related to art,🈶Melodious background music,🈶Recreation area decorated with practical artworks,🈶Intimate and meticulous service...Low-key luxury, experience super value.
@One night and two meals dinner is French cuisine. The ingredients are selected according to the concept of ”eating in season”, and all are selected from Toyama. After slowly enjoying it for 2.5 hours, the taste buds are fully satisfied; breakfast is Japanese style, tasting mountain specialties, refreshing and delicious.
@The art trail along the river, there are many artworks that reflect nature, covered by heavy snow, so you can only appreciate one or two, leaving a little regret.
@On a snowy day, the hotel added a free pick-up service between Toyama Station and the hotel, which was very heartwarming.
