Belo hotel com ursinho.Nós fomos para um passeio de esqui e eles têm ônibus para enviar e pegar do local de esqui.O pequeno-almoço e o jantar também são bons.
The hotel is close to the train station, but need to walk uphill. Although we clearly booked 2 adults 2 kids in Trip.com but the hotel still charged the extra costs for 2 kids (2 years old) for additional 4400 Yen, pay cash at the checkin counter. The room was ready at 3PM and got the room on 3rd floor with mountain view at the back of hotel. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Staff came for turning down the bed futon in the evening. The breakfast was so amazing and plenty of choices. Overall, we had a good stay.
Nice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall.
The hotel is a short walk from the train station. It was quite a walk to the sightseeing spots so we had to go to the station to catch a loop bus. The hotel was clean and has nice onsen. It's convenient that Dormy Inn provides drinks or even noodles and icecreams. The rooms are not big though.
Everything about the service was top-notch.
The food was all delicious, and there was plenty of it to fill you up, with kaiseki cuisine even including sake, and the option to choose one dish from the menu.
After 10 PM, they offer a late-night snack called 'yonaki soba' (night-time ramen). It's quantity-limited, so when I went a little before 10 PM, many people were already waiting. The dining area has limited seating, but takeaway was an option, so I ate it in my room.
From ice cream after a bath to Yakult in the morning, I was never hungry and felt full the entire time I was at the inn. It was wonderful.
The breakfast was also voluminous, and you could have unlimited rice.
There's also a private bath. While it doesn't have a showerhead, it's a perfect space to spend time with a loved one. It was available when I went in the evening.
Overall, I was surprised by how few Japanese guests there were; most seemed to be Chinese or other Asian guests.
I'd like to stay here again when I go skiing.
Property is set in a very quiet and peaceful environment. Very clean and modern. Well maintained after its renovation. There are plenty of free parking space.
Room is big but unfortunately without shower/bath - a big negative for the property. There are two common showers for the whole hotel which must be busy during peak seasons. I recommend the hotel especially during off peak season when you can use the public showers. Otherwise you have to use the bathing facilities in the onsen.
One of the newest boutique style hotels in Sado Island. Centrally located, just 20 minutes from the Ryotsu port. Great amenities and it has a hotspring with fancy hair dryers and hair oils. Roof terrace where you can see so many stars.

XXiyanxiaoxiaoThe hotel's location is excellent. You can see the Yuzawa Grand Hotel nestled on the mountainside right from the west exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station. It's about a 5-minute walk, though the large, steep slope at the hotel entrance requires careful walking, especially after a snowfall in Echigo-Yuzawa and when pushing luggage, to avoid slipping.
We booked a Japanese/Western-style room, and the hotel gave us a room on the 7th floor of the South Wing, directly facing the station. The views were absolutely superb, especially the distant mountains after a snowfall – truly the 'Snow Country' I'd imagined. The room had two beds, and a futon was set up in the Japanese-style area, making it perfect for families with two children on a ski trip.
There are two onsen (hot springs) on the hotel's first floor, and the open-air bath is particularly memorable, especially when you catch a heavy snow while soaking outdoors. An unforgettable experience!
The hotel exudes the charm of an established onsen hotel, with attentive and meticulous service. Yukata and towels are changed daily. Although the facilities show their age, they are still perfectly functional, especially the in-room mini-bar/sink area, which was convenient for eating bentos in the room after skiing each day. Oh, we didn't book breakfast or dinner; we got all our meals from the convenience store inside the station and nearby restaurants.
The hotel's excellent service was also evident in many small details, such as the free rain boots at the entrance and the weather forecasts for various ski resorts. I particularly recommend the ski rental shop right outside the hotel; they have a great attitude, reasonable prices, and the ski gear and helmets are all very new.
In summary, it was a very satisfying stay in every aspect. If I come back to Echigo-Yuzawa during the ski season, I will definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThe lady at the counter was so accommodating. Provided everything we needed and was happy to help in any other way. Spoke a little English but used google translate to help. We couldn't use the dining room for dinner, I think that had to be booked in advance. There was only one or two other places open in town at 7.30pm for dinner. So wasn't many options. The room had stains all over the floor, but otherwise the beds were clean, and comfortable being on the harder springy side, and the bathroom was very clean. The onsen was amazing. The room was a good size, and had extra toilets down the hall if we needed them. The Japanese breakfast that was provided was fantastic. We only stayed one night because we were walking the next day just near there otherwise would have stayed in a bigger town, because of the limited outside facilities. But for the price and it was convenient it was good. Would stay again if I had to, but otherwise would go for a bit nicer place.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, 3 minutes walk from Niigata Station, there is a convenience store downstairs, and there are many restaurants and food around.
The room is spacious, comfortable, bright and clean! Highly recommended
JJM-HKIt takes about 10 minutes to walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station to the hotel, but the hotel is located on a small slope. In winter, if there's heavy snowfall or too much accumulated snow, it can be a bit inconvenient to drag your luggage all the way to the hotel since there's no shuttle service. The hotel was newly renovated last year, so the rooms are very clean. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style. Dinner includes pan-fried steak, sashimi, and small hot pots, but the selection is pretty much the same every night. Staying for three nights, it did get a bit boring, so there's room for improvement in the dining options! The hotel has a drying room and a ski rental shop with discounts on ski passes. Walking to the nearest gondola station takes about 10 minutes, and carrying all the ski gear was a bit strenuous. The hotel is only a few minutes from the hot spring street, and it's very convenient to walk to a convenience store after a soak. Overall, the hotel has plenty of rooms, and I would choose to stay here again next time.
EETTE__The overall service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were friendly and polite. From the pick-up service at the station to the evening welcome, everything was perfectly executed, and simple English communication was no problem. As for the accommodation, the room was in a traditional Japanese style, spacious and clean, with a great view outside the window. Although the building itself is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The onsen (hot spring bath) was a highlight – the water, straight from the source, felt silky smooth, and the open-air bath offered expansive views, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, it's a charming and hospitable onsen ryokan where you can truly unwind.
GGuest UserSpacious and comfortable room. The onsen is quite large and well equipped, however the downside is that it has no view. The hotel also has locker room for ski equipment which is very convenient.
It takes 10 minutes to travel from the hotel to the Akakura Onsen town and most other ski resorts in the area, driving is recommended but there are also shuttle services.
GGuest UserThank you for your help for 3 nights and 4 days. The food was very delicious and I was full. I enjoyed the bath for a long time, as it was open from 15:00 to 10:00 the next day. I enjoyed watching the dances such as the illumination of Sado Kanayama and Sado Okesa during the night activities. Thank you for your help!

The quality of the hot springs is the biggest highlight! The large public baths are divided into indoor and outdoor baths, all made with genuine natural hot spring water. The strong sulfur smell immediately upon entering is incredibly reassuring. The highlight is the open-air hot spring, cleverly designed with a cave theme. Gazing at the stars or the cave walls amidst the rising steam feels like stepping into a natural wonderland – a truly therapeutic experience.
🍜 Heartwarming Late-Night Dining Delight
The most delightful surprise is at night!
