We had a great time staying here, we had a room with the downstairs bath room which is a unique in design in the old house, love the warm floor in the winter time and love the experience that going up and downs when going to washroom, it was fun!
The hotel atmosphere are great and making us feeling like home from the very sec the auntie pick up from the ShuHe old town north gate, to the receptionist introduce the hotel and its culture at the reception bar which has a nice set up with free tea, fruit and home made cake provided.
Love the “heart” from the Singapore lady owner to establish and own the place, it is a 情怀 instead of a place run for $$$, the room diary is an awesome gem, feeling blessed to know who else in the word had ever stay in the same room and their stories, made me can’t stop to leave something too.
the 3 night stay here made me an unique experience in this trip, love it and will come back again. Please continue to share the heart and love in this place till we r back again :)

GGuest UserBanyan Tree Hotels consistently deliver on quality, and this is my second consecutive ***** New Year staying here. Both times, the hotel butler upgraded me to a villa with a massage pool, which was a delightful surprise, especially during such a busy period. The minibar drinks and fruits are all complimentary, which is fantastic for replenishing drinks and snacks after a day of exploring Lijiang. The hotel also provides a dedicated butler service. While many hotels offer this, Banyan Tree's butler service is exceptional. Our butler, Elin, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She proactively contacted us daily to arrange restaurant reservations and provide outing reminders. Any issues we had were addressed and resolved quickly, and she even responded to our messages late at night – truly a 24/7 service. A big thank you again to the wonderful and meticulous Butler Elin!

GGuest UserI booked for two days as a solo traveler. The room was very spacious, and having an elevator made it much more convenient than staying inside the old town. My main activity was hiking, which meant my clothes would get sweaty and dusty. The hotel having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient for this, but unfortunately, it suddenly stopped drying on the second day, which was a real shame. The room was well-equipped, though some amenities had minor imperfections. For example, the Xiao Ai smart speaker wasn't connected to the internet, so its smart functions couldn't be used; the hotel might need to ensure it's properly connected. Overall, at this price point, it's an excellent choice. I'd definitely come back again.

The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was tastefully decorated and designed. They had bathroom fixtures like Hansgrohe & even provided a Dyson hair dryer. The room created a retreat-like atmosphere, it was very relaxing. They also have a dedicated laundry area.
Had early morning activities both days so ended up not having breakfast but the aunty at the kitchen allowed us to take away some of the breakfast items. She was really sweet and helpful.
When we arrived, the owner arranged a car to pick us up and gave us a fruit basket, biscuits etc. His hospitality was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. He also arranged for a car to send us off which was very helpful early in the morning. The view from the room was really pretty as you can see the mountain and it overlooked the ancient town.

RrhzyThe Grand Hyatt Jinmao Resort Lijiang is a truly secluded retreat, nestled amidst serene mountains and rivers, far from the madding crowd. The rooms feel much more substantial than those at some trendy influencer spots. They are spacious and bright, and despite being a bit older, they are well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable, and you can even enjoy mountain views while soaking in the tub. Bella provided warm and attentive service, making me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was extensive, with delicious made-to-order rice noodles and flower cakes. There are also a variety of free activities, making it a great choice if you're traveling with kids, and it's very picturesque for photos. I came alone for a retreat this time, and the Chinese restaurant was very accommodating, preparing half-portions so I could try more dishes. The location is convenient, and overall, it's a perfect experience. This established five-star hotel is a sure bet – you can't go wrong!

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded our expectations! It's right on Erhai Lake with amazing views, especially from the executive lounge – it blows all the coffee shops outside out of the water. The happy hour in the evening, while a set menu, was delicious – light, tasty, and substantial enough to be a full dinner. The spa in the executive room was also noteworthy; the massage was very thorough. Our butler, King, provided excellent service, always accommodating our requests. We stayed for two nights, and the service was fantastic from airport pickup to drop-off. When we couldn't make it to the executive lounge for dinner one night, they even packed it up and brought it to our room for us. I haven't encountered such a dedicated butler in a long time – he deserves a huge compliment! The drivers for the hotel's airport shuttle service were also very responsible. The 1799 executive package was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to everyone!

They even upgraded us and offered a complimentary second person's essential oil back massage! 👍 Once we got to the room, it was just as amazing as advertised. Lying in bed, we could enjoy stunning snow-capped mountain views and stargaze at night. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities, thoughtfully provided down to the smallest detail, which was truly touching. The hotel offers an unlimited breakfast (perfect for those who aren't sure when they'll wake up), afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and a bedtime dessert. The ladies at the hotel were all warm, polite, and responsive, always surprising us with little touches. I hope the breakfast variety can be expanded on my next visit.

Even after leaving Lijiang, I can't stop thinking about it. My stay at the InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort completely redefined my understanding of luxury resorts. From the exquisite hardware and sophisticated ambiance to the impeccable soft services, everything was flawless. The thoughtful service provided by hotel managers Nero, Jack, Joey, and Coco, in particular, was incredibly detailed, making the entire trip warm and truly rejuvenating. A perfect rating isn't enough to express my satisfaction!
The hotel's location is absolutely superb, situated right next to the south gate of Dayan Ancient Town. Your room key grants direct access to the ancient town, and you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the lobby. The room quality perfectly matches InterContinental's high-end positioning – spacious and airy, with elegant and refined Naxi-style soft furnishings that feel brand new, not dated at all.
Most importantly, I must give a massive shout-out to hotel manager Nero; his service is truly an industry benchmark!
Upon check-in, Nero greeted us warmly and proactively. The process was efficient and smooth, and he maintained a patient, smiling demeanor throughout, immediately understanding our needs. Learning it was our first time in Lijiang, he thoughtfully recommended less-crowded, off-the-beaten-path routes. Considering potential altitude sickness, he proactively provided portable oxygen and warm water, and even delivered hot milk to our room in the evening – his meticulous care far exceeded expectations. During our stay, any request via WeChat was met with an instant reply and incredibly swift action: helping to rearrange the room layout, replenishing amenities, and even resolving the smallest requests with care. He proactively assisted with luggage, thoughtfully reminded us about weather changes and sightseeing tips. He was professional yet gentle, with absolutely no perfunctory attitude, truly making us feel at home and filling our foreign journey with warmth.
Whether it's the hotel's hardware quality, the stunning garden views, or the incredibly attentive service, the InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort truly deserves its reputation as the best hotel in Lijiang. Special thanks to Manager Nero for his divine service, touching every guest with detail and sincerity. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Lijiang – you won't regret it, just go for it! The next time I visit Lijiang, InterContinental will still be my first choice, and I'll be looking for Nero!

MM23673****Our stay at Songtsam Linka was truly wonderful, with the biggest surprises being the hotel's Thangka museum and the exclusive guided tour of Songtsam Monastery. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not only meticulously explaining the craftsmanship and culture of Thangka art but also leading us on a deep dive into the historical origins and architectural features of Songtsam Monastery. We were even lucky enough to witness monks attending class, offering an immersive experience of the solemnity and profundity of ******* culture.
While the hotel's facilities aren't exceptionally luxurious, they are clean and comfortable, blending perfectly with the surrounding natural and cultural environment. What truly leaves a lasting impression is its rich cultural essence, seamlessly combining accommodation with a profound cultural experience, making it a rare and unforgettable cultural journey.
