We spent the first two days of our trip staying in town at Sa Pa, and for the next two nights we moved slightly out of town to Hotel DeLaMont. The hotel is located about a 10-minute drive from the town center, perched high on a hill overlooking the valley. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was precisely for that spectacular valley view, which is said to be among the best in Sa Pa. Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather fully lived up to Sa Pa’s nickname as the “City in the Fog.” Thick fog rolled in every day, and visibility was sometimes close to zero—especially on the darker roads without streetlights while our Grab drivers navigated the winding hills. Thankfully, on the morning of our final day, the clouds finally lifted a little and we were blessed with a partial glimpse of the breathtaking valley view we had been hoping for. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was essentially two super single beds pushed together, which meant you could feel the gap in the middle while sleeping. It’s not the most comfortable setup, but still manageable for a short stay. The minibar follows the usual hotel practice—aside from complimentary water, tea, and coffee, the rest of the items are chargeable. One thing we appreciated was the smart TV. We spent some relaxing time listening to music and watching travel videos on YouTube after long days exploring Sa Pa. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a modern electric shower system, which was quite impressive. They even installed a heated lamp to keep you warm while showering—something you’ll definitely appreciate in the chilly Sa Pa climate. However, the wash basin design could be improved. Water tends to collect around the sides, leaving the surface constantly wet, and occasionally attracting small bugs. The hotel doesn’t include breakfast by default, but you can pay extra if you’d like the convenience of eating on-site. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s certainly convenient. The hotel also offers facilities like a gym and a swimming pool. The pool is supposed to be heated, but during our visit the weather was extremely foggy and humid, so the heating was turned off and swimming wasn’t really appealing anyway. Their rooftop area is quite beautiful and would probably be an amazing place to enjoy the valley view on a clear day. Overall, despite the foggy weather limiting the scenery, Hotel DeLaMont is still a comfortable and decent hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. On a clear day, the view alone would likely make the stay even more memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at KK Sapa Hotel from February 22, 2026, to February 25, 2026. Our room was on a high floor and offered a beautiful view. The lobby staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Hoang Thi B. Thao. She is very patient and explains how to buy train and cable car tickets to Fansipan Mountain. The breakfast was also great, with a lot of options to choose from. The hotel's location is quite close to Sun Plaza and the town, within walking distance. We will definitely choose KK Sapa again for our next visit.

As quartos estavam limpas. O serviço é satisfatório e a recepção não fala inglês.

Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel – Excellent Location & Outstanding Staff I recently stayed at Pao Sapa Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—right beside Moana Sapa and just a few kilometers from Cat Cat Village, making sightseeing very convenient. The town is also within walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious with a beautiful valley view, and the breakfast was delicious. The language barrier can be challenging, but the reception staff always have someone who speaks English. Katie, in particular, was extremely helpful. She assisted us with planning our Fansipan trip and booking tickets, and the hotel staff maintain a group chat to update guests on peak weather conditions, which is very useful. During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working and the room became humid after a long day out. Communication was difficult at first, but Katie responded to our message even after office hours and helped resolve the issue, allowing us to rest comfortably. Kudos to Katie and the team for their dedication and excellent service. I highly recommend Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel for its prime location, spacious rooms, and outstanding staff support.

The location is good. It's by the Red River and it's strategically located less than 1km away from the Chinese-Vietnamese border. There're many convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops which make it very convenient. The room is spacious and clean. The staff, although not very proficient in English, did try their best to communicate with me. The limited breakfast options is the only ”wish could be better” for me but this is more than made up for by just how cheap their room rates are! As a business traveler, this hotel goes on my list of preferred vendors.

L’endroit est magnifique à environ 30 min du centre de Sapa. Nous préférons cet endroit pour son calme et son authenticité. Il y a des taxi Grab pour environ 8€ pour rejoindre Sapa. Concernant la chambre il y a le strict minimum. La propreté est moyenne, elle aurait pu être mieux. Attention il y a beaucoup d’insectes du fait qu’on soit à la campagne ! Et les chambres sont très mal isolées et peu intimes. Le matin vous serez réveillés vers 5/6h au levé du jour !! Sinon le restaurant de l’hôtel est excellent, nous avons adoré 😍 voici les photos. Les prix étaient très corrects ce qui vous évitent d’aller autre part. Le personnel est très gentil.

Muito satisfeito em ficar no Bamboo Sapa Hotel!! Da chegada ao check-out, foi muito tranquilo. Os recepcionistas foram muito prestativos e amigáveis, assim como os camareiros, funcionários do restaurante e da piscina. Chegamos antes do horário de check-in, então deixamos nossa bagagem no depósito deles. Precisamos trocar de roupa porque o clima está congelante. então eles nos deixaram usar o quarto de conforto do hotel. Quando terminamos as atividades em Sapa, fizemos o check-in em nosso quarto e ficamos felizes com o quarto que temos. O CR é fornecido com toalhas de banho super brancas e novas, toalhas de rosto, tapete de chão, papel de seda. O banheiro é equipado com chuveiro quente e frio (elegante) fornecido com sabonete líquido e xampu. O quarto é super limpo e arrumado, assim como o quarto de conforto e o banheiro. Tem uma cômoda com espelho, abajures. Também tem um armário para roupas e um secador de cabelo. Há 2 piscinas no Bamboo Sapa Hotel. Uma é a piscina ao ar livre (mas não dei um mergulho porque estava muito frio) e a outra fica no nível G, que é quente e tem hidromassagem. Um restaurante aconchegante é para o buffet de café da manhã que está incluído na reserva. A variedade de comida deliciosa, nutritiva e sofisticada foi servida. A tomada elétrica para carregar fica perto da cabeceira da cama. Havia pares de chinelos de quarto e roupões de banho que eram delicadamente brancos. Tão frescos para vestir! 2 garrafas de água mineral, xícaras e pires e aquecedor também foram fornecidos... ah, se você quiser ligar para a recepção, há um telefone na mesa☺️❤️🥰

O melhor!!!! Reservei para uma vista da cidade, mas a recepcionista disse que eles mudaram meu quarto, pois era no andar inferior, minha vista era supostamente apenas para o prédio e a estrada, e meu quarto atualizado tinha vista para a montanha e para o monotrilho (só percebi que conseguia ver o monotrilho da minha janela no meu último dia 😅😅😅, pois não me preocupei em verificar na minha primeira noite/dia. Reservei este hotel nos meus últimos dois dias, pois estava planejando ficar em casa para poder aproveitar o meu dinheiro (como eu estava viajando sozinho e um pouco caro para sozinho, pois o preço (+café da manhã buffet) era para dois — mas mesmo que eu ainda tenha saído e não possa comer por duas pessoas 😅, ainda vale a pena). Gostei mais da banheira, aproveitei a massagem e experimentei a piscina coberta e a piscina infinita. O buffet de café da manhã é das 6h às 10h, então você não precisa acordar cedo ou pode comer cedo se tiver planos para o início da manhã... O carro de aluguel custava apenas cerca de 3SGD do do hotel ao ponto de embarque do ônibus….

O Lugar e o local são agradáveis, acessíveis e próximos a lugares turísticos como Moana Sapa (distância de caminhão) e Sun Plaza. O Pessoal é realmente gentil e considerado, não conseguimos voltar antes do nosso check-out (12PM), mas a senhora no despacho frontal disse que não precisamos preocupar-nos e eles nos deram tempo para embalar e check-out em quase 1PM. Super limpo quarto e toalhas completas.A piscina está disponível e TEM UMA vista de montanha magnífica, BOM pequeno-almoço e muitas escolhas!Definitivamente VAI voltar e trazer alguns amigos Da próxima vez.Obrigado!
