The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points.
The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself.
Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

Getting taxis after 8pm as a foreigner without local taxi apps is a nightmare so be conscious of this. The cleanliness was wanting. First day big cockroach emerges crawling and at check in the manager just stomps it and kicks it out. No issue but the stain is was on the floor next day when I returned, unmopped! I also found a smaller one on the coffee table, smacked it with my slipper and left the carcass there to test if it would be cleaned as I’d read reviews about bugs and cleanliness needing improvement. It was still there till I messaged concierge to complain about poor cleaning. The dishes also had some stains on some days and the kitchen counter tops were not cleaned with one day me finding cooking oil residue on it after I’d made an egg, exactly where I left it. Again, to test cleaning rigour. The extra kitchen/ dish cloth that was folded and left in the drawer also had flour residue. It obviously wasn’t cleaned or even checked before being returned.
On day 2 I was met by a huge flying cockroach on my bedroom wall that I used all the Doom on (thank God they provide this in the apartment 🫣) as I’m petrified of bugs and huge flying ones at that! I left the carcass on the floor after battling that creature for like 30 minutes to test housekeeping and thankfully this one was removed as I left it in plain sight. I had to tell concierge at check out that cleaning in this place needs massive massive improvement.
Otherwise it’s a great huge space with great amenities and fittings, loads of parking space and well located for a vacation. The breakfast was just OK. Nothing special.
Concierge was proactive in communicating and the security levels are good.
They charge a $/€550 deposit on top of the accommodation rate at check in so read the fine print. But it is just a pre-authorization on card so instantly released to card, if you damage nothing. If cash, it’s also instant at check out. I would return, but they need to work out their housekeeping and fumigation issues.

Em primeiro lugar, você quer começar com OS lados positivos desse hotel, seus dois territórios bonitos e bem concebidos, bem como um belo interior Na sala e um delicioso jantar no menu para jantar.
Neste ponto, os mais acabam.
Foi o terceiro hotel na ilha nesta categoria e, por isso, há algo a comparar com. O lugar mais insucesso no nível de serviço.
Claro, se você é um restaurante não crítico, este lugar será adequado.
Pensámos que era um nível muito baixo de processos de gestão no hotel e poupanças para tudo.
A sala TEM cápsulas e UMA máquina de café que são pagos (apenas duas cápsulas de café são gratuitas para toda a estadia).
Todas as bebidas para jantar são pagas, até água.
O alimento é delicioso, mas é importante notar que, para jantar, muitas vezes, é tempo de esperar duas horas. O nosso descontentamento é expresso por várias vezes e não estamos prontos para sentar-nos no jantar por duas horas, porque temos trabalho e temos muito tempo.Provavelmente, o cozinheiro não Pode cozinhar tanto comida para tal carga do hotel. Algumas pessoas acabaram de levantar-se e deixar-se, SEM esperar para o dessert, o que é um desrespeito extremo para OS convidados.
Nos primeiros dias notamos que o champô, gel de alma e outros itens não foram preenchidos após a limpeza, pediram medidas respiratórias, mas apenas após uma queixa escrita, tomaram medidas e começaram a monitorizar a limpeza mais de perto. Obrigado pela reacção operacional, estamos satisfeitos por o hotel reagir e ouvir.
Provavelmente recomendaria que este hotel tomasse primeiro SEM comida ou pequeno-almoço.

Há um descanso de chá: o primeiro dia é livre, depois 350 roupas por dia.
O pessoal é amigável e ansioso para ajudar, mas é necessário trabalhar de imediato e de forma clara, para que o hóspede não tenha uma impressão desagradável.

GGuest UserWir sind positiv überrascht das die Familien Villa räumlich viel Platz hatte , und 2 kleine Balkone .
In der Anlage direkt am Strand gibt es ein schönes Restaurant im Boho Stil eingerichtet und das Personal ist überall sehr freundlich .
Wir hatten Fam. Villa 201 , die schön eingerichtet war .2Schlafzimmer , kl. Wohnzimmer und Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche war gut .
Wir haben hier gemütlich und sicher gewohnt ohne Lärmbelästigungen .
Wichtig ! Den Schlüssel zur Villa musste man an der Rezeption abgeben, damit die Wohnung gereinigt und die Betten gemacht werden konnten . Es gibt keinen Zweitschlüssel ?!

MMacarennaFirst of all, you want to start with the positive sides of this hotel, their two beautiful and well-designed territories, as well as a beautiful interior in the room and delicious meal on the menu at dinner.
On this the pluses end.
It was our third hotel on the island in this category and therefore there is something to compare with. The most unsuccessful place on the level of service.
Of course, if you are a non-critical restorant, this place will be appropriate.
We thought it was a very low level of management processes inside the hotel and savings for everything.
The room has capsules and a coffee machine that are paid (only two capsules of coffee are free for the entire stay).
All the drinks at dinner are paid, even water.
The food is delicious, but it is important to note that at dinner many times it has been time to wait for two hours. We have expressed our dissatisfaction on several occasions and are not ready to sit in the dining room for two hours, as we have work and we are very limited in time. Probably the cook just can't cook so much food for such a load of the hotel. Some people just got up and left without waiting for dessert. This is an extreme disrespect for the guests.
In the first days we noticed that shampoo, soul gel and other items were not replenished after cleaning, asked for respiratory measures, but only after a written complaint they took action and began to monitor cleaning more closely. Thank you for the operational reaction, we are pleased that the hotel is reacting and listening.
Probably I would recommend this hotel to take initially without food or just breakfast.

The front desk lady is very warm and thoughtful! Very patient! English is also easy to communicate OK!
The best thing about this hotel is the location! Because it is very close to Blue Bay, it is a short walk to the beach, and you can go back to the hotel to take a shower after checking out, which is very considerate.
Breakfast is outdoors, so it is inevitable that there are small flying insects flying around, which is understandable. At night, you can see geckos on the outdoor walls, the ecology is really good hahahaha

LLinderTypical Mauritian complex hotel very well arranged and charming which offers many activities and well located to shine in the North of Mauritius. Everything is available to ensure that your stay goes perfectly (assistance, activities, visits, taxi, etc.) Several restaurants available on site (buffet restaurant and restaurants highlighting local gastronomy) included in the price for half board and all in. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied and also highlights local cuisine. The staff is attentive and very helpful.
For information, ask to book restaurants to be able to taste the different local cuisines (Indian, Mauritian and Chinese).
