My stay at Hotiday in Naples (Museum) was an excellent experience in every way. The property is in a truly convenient location, in the heart of the historic district and just steps from the Piazza Cavour metro station, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The modern and elegant room is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, including a comfortable bed and pillows. It was impeccably clean, and the bathroom was perfectly equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both sweet and savory options. Everything was excellent. A special thank you goes to Mariarca, who was extremely kind and always available. Her hospitality and professionalism made our stay even more pleasant. She was attentive, proactive, and ready to help with any requests, even exceeding expectations. We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

Lovely small hotel with tranquil grounds with grape arbors, comfortable seating, gardens and 2 small pools. Very helpful staff and enjoyed being served our aperativos in the garden. Highly recommend.

It is farther than I expected from the downtown area and the buses and taxis are depopulated, so it is not recommended for those who want to see Amalfi well. Moreover, the owner is kind if it depends, but it is unfriendly and English is not easy to understand. The hotel Wi-Fi passwords are all written in upper case, but all are correctly lower case. There is no elevator and it is difficult to bring up your luggage.

There was no one at the reception and checking was made online. We almost stayed on the street because no one could open us until I called the hotel by phone and they made me check on the street being a bad area to be with the baggage and the mobile

This hotel is really impeccable. Opposite the cathedral, the facilities are clean. The hotel has installed sound-proof glass. It is relatively quiet. There is a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient! Because the hotel forfeited my deposit I used a can of Coke in the minibar, and I consciously paid for it the night before. The front desk also said that some guests really left without paying. The only thing missing is that the washbasin leaks slowly, and everything else is very good👍 It would be great if there was an elevator. It is more difficult to carry luggage because of the stairs. I personally like this hotel quite a lot

The hotel is located on the cliff and the coast, with a quiet environment. The sea view room faces Mount Vesuvius, which is refreshing! The lights of the bay in the distance at night are even more romantic!
