"Normalmente, reservo hotéis que abriram nos últimos 6 meses. Este hotel afirma ter aberto em 2025, mas, ao fazer o check-in, ficou claro que não era possível que tivesse sido inaugurado em 2025. Os acabamentos estão desgastados e, embora estivesse razoavelmente limpo, o banheiro parecia sujo, com acúmulo de mofo preto ao redor. A decoração também parecia um pouco descombinada. O lobby, porém, é lindo. E o sorvete gratuito estava delicioso. A roupa de cama estava limpa e confortável. Mas, no primeiro quarto em que me deram, o tapete do banheiro tinha uma mancha que parecia sangue. O segundo quarto cheirava muito a cigarro velho. Não sei como, em 2025, ainda permitimos fumar em estabelecimentos públicos! A roupa de cama cheirava mal. Além disso, a equipe de limpeza foi bastante rude quando pedi para trocarem a roupa de cama depois de acordar e perceber a mancha. Cheguei a pensar que havia percevejos. A atendente disse que não e, em seguida, tentou justificar a mancha, o que me deixou com uma péssima impressão. "Our stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages. There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special. Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences."

"This are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach. "

She checked in with us regularly, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. During our visit, I celebrated my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special — with a beautifully decorated room and a lovely cake. 露佳also gave excellent recommendations for local food and attractions, and made restaurant reservations for us effortlessly through messages. The room was elegant and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere felt both refined and welcoming. Although we visited during the Theater Festival and the town was quite crowded, the serenity and hospitality of 盛庭行馆 made it a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. I would absolutely choose to stay here again, perhaps at a quieter time, to enjoy even more of its charm."

"To be quite honest when we booked this hotel for one night only we didn’t have very high hopes for it. However, the contrary happened. Hilton Zhoushan turned out to be amazing; literally from the first minute that we stepped in we were greeted warmly by front desk staff. They speak very good English and the GM was very nice; once he realised that it’s our little daughter’s first birthday they offered cake and candles. They also brought a nice crib for the baby. Every single staff member’s behaviour was professional and friendly and respectful. On the 19th floor we had an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding landscape. We had a great time and will definitely come back."

"This is absolutely one of the best resort hotels we have stayed. The view to the lake is not the best but we are very happy to be hearing bird chirpping in the morning. The corridor of the hotel is unbelievable wide and spacious. The service provided is amongst the best that a hotel could provide. This hotel in the best location next to Nanhu where most of the sights are within walking distance or very close by. It is offering beautiful and relaxing walks along the lake. Going to the old city wall or to the old town takes only a short ride on the taxi of about 10 minutes. The restaurant for breakfast is just beautiful and the food is excellent. We just love this hotel and we will be back. If you are planning to visit Jiaxing, this will be the best hotel in Nanhu. Jiaxing is just absolutely serene and beautiful. We have taken heaps of beautiful photos and so lucky to be staying at Jiaxing Nanhu Resort Hotel."

I stayed in a mountain view room, and the hotel package I bought was incredibly good value. It included a buffet dinner for two, where we had hairy crabs and lots of seafood – I might have eaten a bit too much, haha. The breakfast buffet was also very generous, with excellent pastries and delicious freshly made 'shou zhua bing' (hand-grabbed pancakes). The beef noodles were good too. Getting around was super convenient, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. I went to Lingyin Temple early in the morning and then to West Lake in the evening – a fantastic experience!

This hotel used to be an InterContinental (perhaps a benchmark in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region), but after the InterContinental brand pulled out, the owner operated it independently under the name 'Free InterContinental Palace'. After the InterContinental de-branding, the hotel significantly increased its recreational activities, adding tennis courts, sound healing, and more. Among the resort hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area, places like the Xihu State Guest House and Fuchun Resort are quite large, but this hotel's actual scale is even more astonishing. Besides the hotel's own area, the entire Xianshan Peninsula is essentially its public space: in early summer, there are bayberry orchards, and in autumn, the mountains are covered with tangerine trees. You can hike to the top of the back mountain (about 2-3 km), and there's a hidden small 'canyon' in the mountains. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there's a 'farmhouse restaurant' next door (Xianshan Restaurant). A few hundred meters from the entrance is the lighthouse area, which used to be a pebble beach and has now been converted into a coffee shop/bar. As for the hotel's own hardware, it's roughly on par with the international resort hotels in Yalong Bay around 2010-2012 (Qiandao Lake InterContinental/Hilton/Sheraton all opened around the same time). It's very well-maintained, old but not dilapidated. Compared to the minimalist, trendy new hotels of the past two years, hotels from this period have much more character. Most people come to Qiandao Lake to escape the summer heat, but October-November is when Xianshan Peninsula is at its most beautiful. The tangerines are ripe, the lake water is exceptionally blue on crisp, clear days, and by November, a few ginkgo trees in the hotel turn golden. This hotel also has some special advantages: for example, breakfast is served until 11 AM and includes a dedicated children's dining area. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there's a late-night canteen offering various snacks and instant noodles from all over the world (literally every type of noodle from everywhere!). The concierge team's service is also very attentive and prompt. What can I say? Perfect weather, perfect hotel – 100 out of 10 points! 🥰

The hotel's location is excellent, with Hankyu Department Store and Cultural Plaza nearby, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The service was also top-notch. The butler communicated proactively, and handling issues at night during our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were also very competent, and colleagues were helping each other out, creating a great atmosphere. Breakfast was standard, and it was quite crowded during the National Day holiday. All necessary facilities were available, and the bedding was comfortable. The major drawback was the severe mosquito and insect problem. We didn't open the windows at all after entering the room, but my child was bitten seven times at night, which severely affected our rest. Such an issue is unacceptable in a 5-diamond hotel in an economically developed city. Other areas for improvement include the air conditioner's vibration noise and the detached waterproof strip in the bathroom. However, these might be specific to our room, but unfortunately, we experienced them. Also, the sink faucet was too short, which is a poorly designed feature.

The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations. Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers. Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast. Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/ I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub. Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos. The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to. The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with. I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

I've stayed here many times, and the service is always excellent. This time, it was a family trip, and my husband arrived at the hotel first. The hotel was busy, but the staff helped upgrade our room type. Special thanks to Benson & Sandy for their thoughtful service. The concierge staff were also very proactive in helping with our golf bags and luggage. I'll definitely be back for my next golf trip!

We bought a group-buying package for this trip. The environment was great, the meals were hearty, and it offered great value for money. Special thanks to our butler Selena, the 3rd-floor attendant Xiang Xiaofang, and driver Mr. Li—thumbs up to all of them! If there are similar packages next time, we will definitely buy them again and would consider staying at voco Thousand Island Lake once more.

I really loved this guesthouse, especially its common areas. The library, in particular, stood out with its striking spatial design and vibrant color scheme, creating a wonderfully spacious and bright atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a book, order a coffee, and easily spend an entire afternoon. The host was also incredibly hospitable! I definitely hope to visit again next time!

We make an annual two-night trip to Hangzhou, and this time we chose the Banyan Tree. I had an impressive experience at the Shanghai Banyan Tree back in 2015, but every property has its own unique style. The Hangzhou resort is nestled inside the Xixi National Wetland Park—a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle with an exceptional ecological environment. The moment we stepped into the lobby, our eyes were treated to a breathtaking, expansive view that we instantly fell in love with, making it feel like a home away from home for the next two nights. Walking into the guest room brought another pleasant surprise: the mini-fridge was fully stocked with complimentary drinks. The room was spacious, and both the bathroom and living room felt very grand. Stepping out onto the balcony, we were greeted by the delightful fragrance of sweet osmanthus. I just wanted to sit on the terrace, sipping tea and enjoying the floral scent while basking in the heavenly outdoor sunshine. The hotel's night view is equally enchanting, with the lake mirroring the scenery to create a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and what made it even more delightful was sitting by the lake amid the scent of osmanthus, accompanied by a few clever little white ducks hoping for a treat. With such an idyllic lake view, a wonderful day truly begins with a wonderful breakfast. Since it happened to be the osmanthus-blooming season and we had a few sightseeing spots to visit, we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to just relax and enjoy the hotel. In fact, the fragrance of osmanthus all over the property was already intoxicating, with lush osmanthus trees everywhere. Aside from the slightly inconvenient location—driving is recommended—we were completely satisfied with our stay at the Banyan Tree Hangzhou. The service also deserves praise; staff were responsive to every request. We didn't even have time to try out the pool or wellness classes, so two nights felt a bit too short. It's no wonder the hotel is always so popular.
