We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new. On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp. Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

This Mingyu Licheng Ademan Hotel in Banna was such a pleasant surprise! It's full of Southeast Asian charm, surrounded by lush rainforest greenery, and the pool light show creates an incredible atmosphere. The room was spacious and smart, with a Dyson hairdryer and Atelier Cologne toiletries, which really elevated the experience. The balcony offered a super relaxing view. The butler service was attentive, and they even offered pick-up and drop-off. The Dai-style rice noodles for breakfast were amazing. Absolutely fantastic value for money, definitely my top choice for accommodation in Banna!

During the Water Splashing Festival, the hotel was fully booked, but despite the large number of guests, the service was excellent. This time, I brought three family members over 70 years old to Xishuangbanna to experience the festival atmosphere. The hotel arranged three adjacent rooms on the same floor for easy care. They helped find and arrange delivery of a power bank we left behind at check-out – thank you so much! The breakfast restaurant actually opened at 7 am, which is perfect for our elderly friends who are early risers, and the selection was quite good. The laundry room is convenient for those traveling long distances. Free water was provided on the day of the Water Splashing Festival. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Housekeeping was also very prompt. The rooms were equipped with smart home technology. The location is also great; it's within walking distance of the Golden Pagoda and the Starlight Night Market. It's a standalone hotel, which is rare in Gaozhuang, so it's worth a try.

I won't say much about the good and bad of the villa. I give it three stars for the overall evaluation. I probably won't go there again in the future. The stream is very dirty and you can't catch fish. You can't see the sunset when riding up the mountain. I give the restaurant 80 points for the food, but I have to give it 100 points for the service. There is a chef who is very nice. You can ask her to cook for you. The taste is great. 👍👍 A reminder to friends who drive. You may get your car scratched and there is no place to appeal. Let me talk about my experience in detail. I rented a car from Pu'er Station and drove to Aini Manor. The road was winding all the way. The road was easy to drive, but there were too many bends, so new drivers should go slower. There is a row of parking areas at the front door of Aini Manor. Because I rented a car, I took extra care of it. At about 8 o'clock after dinner on the night of check-in, I checked the whole car and went back to the room to sleep. When I checked out at 10 o'clock the next day, I suddenly found a scratch on the right side of the car from the front to the back (from the front wheel fender to the rear wheel fender). It didn't seem to be an accidental collision, but it felt intentional. So I found the manager of the villa, Mr. Zhao, and arranged to check the surveillance (only the parking spaces facing the lobby door can be seen clearly because there is no surveillance outside and can only be seen through the indoor surveillance). My car was not parked in front, so the surveillance could not see the details. I called the police, but because I had a later trip, I could not wait for the police who would come two hours later. I had no choice but to sacrifice several hours in order not to be fined a large amount of repair fees when returning the car. I searched for repair shops around Baidu and polished it myself, which cost 100 yuan. After negotiating with Manager Zhao, because the accident happened inside the villa, the villa should also bear a certain responsibility for the care of the vehicle and should bear my repair fee of 100 yuan. But! Manager Zhao did not respond to my WeChat. Anyway, you have left, and the attitude of completely ignoring it is really chilling. Friends who go to play again, protect your car and don't let such unpleasant things happen! ! ! This hotel experience was absolutely fantastic! The service was so warm and welcoming, it felt like coming home. Someone helped with my luggage when I checked in, and whenever I left, the staff would ask where I was going and give really practical advice. Their attitude was unbelievably good. The location is convenient, and the room facilities are complete. Even the alpacas in the garden are super cute and not afraid of people! I'm just a bit annoyed that the peacocks didn't spread their tails. Overall, the experience was excellent! Highly recommend giving it a try!

The view was fantastic; I could see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake right from my room. Service was excellent, with very efficient pick-up and drop-off services, and they even offered traditional clothing for photoshoots. The food was delicious; the Bai ethnic chef, working unhurriedly and methodically, prepared everything perfectly. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

I couldn't book the same room type for two consecutive nights, so I had to book different room types for each night. The difference between the 'pool view' room and the 'Xiang Tang' room is that one has an openable window and the other doesn't. I stayed in the pool view room on the first night and it wasn't noisy at all. However, my experience in the 'Xiang Tang' room on the second night wasn't as good. The restaurant is right downstairs, and even at 10 or almost 11 PM, there were still children making noise on the platform. Closing the window helped a bit. The cleanliness wasn't great either; there were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor. I hope they pay more attention to this. Everything else was pretty good. At least I didn't experience any power outages or room maintenance issues. They also provide toiletries for children.

The Naga Hotel, with its Thai-style architecture, provides exceptional butler service and thoughtful touches like complimentary airport pickup, making it perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious, equipped with projectors and balconies. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market, and they offer free shuttle service to the Gaozhuang scenic area. Overall, it offers great value for money.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
