It was awesome hotel with superb service from top to bottom. From the time we reached there butler and service staff to welcome us. The reception is at 54 floor, you have take the escalator up and register your stay. Then take the second escalator down to your room of another escavator is you are staying in executive suites. Very interesting, to get down you need to go up to level 54 and take the lift down. To get to the bar u need to take the lift 58. Very nice lounge with interesting cocktails.
They use electric toilet bowl which is convenient when the very cold. Been staying here 3 nights when I reached
Will come back and stay in the hotel again if I am back to Harbin.

This hotel is really fantastic. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect -- close to places to eat, shop and close to the pedestrian street. The room is lovely, with mini bar, a little couch, a tub and its clean and lovely. The staff brought and left me snacks, and brought me delicious fruit. Plus I found the people of Mudanjiang to be really friendly and lovely as I walked around the city.

Tudo bem sobre este hotel, excepto que o termostat do quarto estava demasiado alto para que o quarto se tornasse estilhativo. Finalmente, tivemos que desligar o termostat para que a sala se arrefeça e abrir as cegas/gartas no momento Da cama para que alguns ficarem frios para passar pelas janelas. Tivemos também de abrir a porta para que o ar frio Na caminhada possa entrar Na sala para baixar a temperatura de toda a sala.

Love the room is great everything was good i enjoyed the breakfast there were a lot of different selections it was yummy one thing I didn’t like is that I had to go downstairs every time I ordered a delivery Mabey we can do a bit upgrade on that. Also the dress code for guests in the dining hall need to be addressed this is a 5 star hotel I don’t need to see people wearing robe with nothing under it with the room sandals is just not cool. However I did see people talking to them about it asking them to change but it took a while. Other than that
It was a wonderful experience and I’ll b back sometime soon and hopefully will see some more upgrades?

Escolher este hotel em Harbin foi definitivamente a decisão certa! A localização é fantástica, oferecendo uma vista panorâmica deslumbrante do Rio Songhua e do Monumento de Controle de Inundações. Fica a apenas 2 minutos a pé da Rua Central, e atrações famosas como a Catedral de Santa Sofia e a Ponte Ferroviária do Rio Songhua também estão próximas e a uma curta caminhada. A área é animada tanto de dia quanto de noite, e fazer compras é fácil. Mais importante ainda, o próprio hotel é excelente; os quartos são limpos e confortáveis, e a equipe é muito simpática e acolhedora. Altamente recomendado!

We stayed at the Shangri-La Harbin Horizon Club for three nights and were thoroughly satisfied. Great location with easy access everywhere, clean room, friendly staff overall.
A lovely Reception staff named Gao, Zhongpeng was extremely warm and helpful. I contacted her online prior to arrival; she not only changed a more suitable room type tailored for our family ( 2 adults and one 10 yr) than the original one I booked , but also answered all my questions patiently, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience for the whole family trip.

The hotel is very easy to get to and located right where the Chinese Baroque street is. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and does not smell. The amenities are well equipped. The beddings are clean and comfortable. The O.A Smith water dispenser was very convenient and easy to use. The lighting control was easy to use and scene settings were thoughtful. The room was equipped with Xiao Du AI voice control which was nice to have. Overall the experience was very pleasant. Would recommend.

the hotel was great value for the price and has a few excellent points. Location is easy to get to the airport and ok for the winter attractions. Rooms are nice, though are showing their age. The facilities (gym/pool) we decided to avoid; they don't offer the resort or relaxation of other five star hotels. Food was consistently good and the club lounge is easily one of the best decors I've found. The service was consistently good from checkin especially. I would stay here again if Im in Harbin, but I would stress that I have allergies to try and get a real smoke-free room (our bathroom....)

GGuest UserThis hotel was incredibly comfortable. I woke up naturally refreshed every day. The location is also convenient; while it's a bit far from the 731 Unit Museum, it's quick to get to Daoli District. The hotel is cleaned thoroughly and promptly every day. The front desk staff were very professional and attentive, providing us with 6 bottles of water daily and even complimentary fruit. They were always ready to help. The hotel staff who assisted with luggage were also very thoughtful. The shuttle service was excellent too; you just need to book 2 hours in advance, and it can take you to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Sunac Snow Park at the adjacent Sunac Mall. There's also MixC nearby, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

GGuest UserOur first night was in a standard king room, and we found it a bit odd to have a large round bathtub right in the middle of the room. The soundproofing was terrible; it sounded like the next-door neighbors were showering right in our ears. We mentioned it to the concierge, who immediately offered to switch rooms, and we ended up getting an upgrade. Both the rooms and the lobby are located on higher floors, which is the most inconvenient thing about this type of hotel. Every time you want to go in or out, it's a bit of a hassle. Although the hotel has 8 high-speed elevators, it still took about 5 minutes to get out for meals or the gym. However, this is apparently due to local government regulations requiring high-end hotels to occupy higher floors, so I guess it's not really the hotel's fault. Overall, the hotel staff seemed to be trying very hard, and the place has a lot of character, so I'll give it a good review.

GGuest UserThe service here is excellent, from booking to the front desk and restaurant staff, everything was impeccable. The Chinese restaurant waitress, Miss Xu, was especially warm and professional. This is much better than the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, where I noticed foreign guests were prioritized with excessive deference – that wasn't the case here in Harbin. The Ritz-Carlton Harbin's service was truly attentive and responsive to every request, hats off to them! 👍
There were a few minor downsides. The smart toilet seat, if you sit on it for too long, the lid taps your back. 🤭 The first room they assigned me was quite far from the elevator, which I had requested since I'm a light sleeper. However, after the staff showed me to the room, I got lost trying to find the elevator again after turning a few corners, haha! So I went back to my room and called the front desk. They then upgraded me to a river-view room closer to the elevator. But as soon as I entered, there was a slight lingering smell of renovation near the entrance. For someone as sensitive to smells as I am, it was quite impactful, but I really didn't want to bother them again. Sure enough, I woke up with a headache in the middle of the night, quickly took some medicine, and felt better after an early morning walk.
Breakfast runs until 10:30 AM, but by 9:40 AM, the hot milk was already gone. A kind female manager went to the coffee machine to get me a cup, as it would take 7 minutes to provide more hot milk. My suggestion is that if breakfast is until 10:30 AM, they shouldn't stop replenishing items early just because there are fewer people. This will only lead to even fewer guests over time. I even bought 14 more breakfast vouchers, by the way. The quality of the breakfast ingredients is excellent, which is why I bought 10 breakfast vouchers.
The gym equipment is great, and the service there is also very enthusiastic. The lighting in the swimming pool area at night was a bit dim. Since it's a water environment, dim lighting can be dangerous and make it difficult to spot issues. My friend suddenly got leg cramps, luckily a coach came over and pulled her out. The downside is that there are two lifeguard observation chairs, but no lifeguards. There's a duty coach who occasionally comes in to check, and sometimes goes to the gym to teach. Even though the water depth is 1.35 meters, a swimming pool, by regulation, must have lifeguards on the chairs. Accidents can happen in water, so safety is paramount. Overall, my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Harbin was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely recommend it to any friends visiting.

1. The room was very spacious, luxuriously decorated, and the ambiance was elegant, making for a comfortable stay.
2. The facilities were excellent. The toilet was a smart toilet, and the room had both a humidifier and an air purifier.
3. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff handled issues efficiently and promptly, and their attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel's hot spring is open to the public, and during the Chinese New Year, it was quite crowded. Guests didn't have a dedicated entrance and had to queue at the door to get a wristband before entering, which was inconvenient.
2. There was only one outdoor hot spring pool; all the others were indoors. This wasn't quite what I expected. I wish there were more outdoor pools, especially since the hotel's main selling point is its hot spring.
3. The gym had a limited number of machines, which wasn't quite enough. Also, there was a lack of equipment maintenance; the handles on some machines were too slippery. The gym's access control seemed to have an issue, as sometimes the card swipe wouldn't work.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this amazing guesthouse to everyone! You can book it with your eyes closed. The service is incredibly attentive, and the butler team in the group chat is always responsive to every request. They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to nearby attractions and restaurants. While we were making tea at the tea table, the butler immediately brought over freshly cut fruit. This is the first time I've encountered such observant and proactive butler service. The kids had a fantastic experience, and we ended up staying a second time within a short period. The breakfast was also very exquisite. Both villas have unique charm, especially the common areas, which are all distinct. We'll definitely be back!

**Ambiance:** The lobby, like other Mandarin Oriental hotels, is very grand and impressive.
**Facilities:** The facilities are well-maintained, but it doesn't have smart home features throughout the room.
**Cleanliness:** Overall, it was clean and tidy.
**Service:** The service was excellent, very warm and attentive. Today was 'Lidong' (Beginning of Winter), and they even specially served dumplings for breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch.

GGuest UserSister Dong and her husband are both incredibly warm and welcoming. They picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and even upgraded our room. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a direct view of the Sunshine Ski Resort from the window. They were also super helpful in resolving any issues we encountered during our ski trip. Our Yabuli ski adventure was truly enjoyable!

GGuest UserI'm writing this review today because of Amy, an amazing lady at the JW Marriott Hotel Harbin. She was like a warm haven in the middle of the Harbin Ice and Snow World [smiley face].
Our stay at the Marriott was during the latter part of our Harbin trip. The morning we returned to Harbin from Snow Town, Amy called to confirm our itinerary and asked about our room preferences. She arranged a room with a view of the Ice and Snow World, and we were truly amazed the moment we stepped in. Because I hadn't read the details carefully, I discovered upon arrival that breakfast wasn't included in my package. My attempts to resolve this with the booking platform were unsuccessful. For someone like me who absolutely needs breakfast when staying at a hotel, this was really hard to accept, but since it was my own oversight, I had to just accept it. Later, I spoke with Amy, and after understanding the situation, she consulted with her superiors and helped resolve the issue.
The hotel facilities are meticulous, thoughtful, and high-quality. I'll definitely book Marriott hotels in other locations again. Five-star rating, all thanks to the staff here. [smiley face]

CceleryshiEverything else was fine, but we mainly chose this hotel for the pool. It turned out to be an affiliated facility, meaning we had to leave the hotel, re-enter another building, and even pay a deposit. To make matters worse, the pool was completely occupied by training sessions. For our kids, who can't swim and just wanted to splash around, it was absolutely maddening, haha!
The hotel's location is good, not far from Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. However, catching a taxi back was quite a challenge, and parking was also difficult for those driving.
