For a 4 stars hotel, it was a bit of a disappointment. Marriot hotels are definitely better outside the UK. When we arrived, we had been travelling for over 5 hours, so we were tired and just wanted to collapse in the room. Instead, we were given an extended explanation at Reception on how a hotel 'works' and that we'd get complimentary wi-fi. Don't ALL hotels have free wi-fi these days??? Also, they wanted to charge us for parking without checking first whether we had a car (which we didn't). When we got to the room, we found it a bit dated. There had been an attempt to update by adding a USB extension on the bedside table - however, this extension had two very bright lights, which I had to cover with a towel to be able to get some sleep. The pillows were way too soft, and they'd also tried to make the mattress softer by placing a duvet (instead of a mattresses topper) under the bed sheet - this ended up making the mattress feel quite lumpy. There was a mini fridge in the room, but it was empty (you had to go downstairs to get snacks). Also, the coffee and tea tray was hidden and very basic. For a 4 stars hotel, the complimentary stuff was basic and when I went to ask about getting slippers or a bath robe, I was told that's only available to premium rooms. However, I have to say that even though the room didn't meet expectations, it was very clean. In terms of the restaurant, the breakfast was delicious. However, the food was placed in cast iron pots under heat lamps, and covered with lids. The lids got very hot under the lamps, so getting your food was a bit of an endurance challenge. As mentioned above, the room was very clean, but I can't say the same about the restaurant. We were sat by the window and there were some cobwebs and dead flies - since we were in the country, a few flies are to be expected, but when the fly cemetary looks the same two days in a row, that suggests nobody dusted there. Not great having your meal while waiting for a spider to climb up the web and join you. The gym was good and had free towels and very helpful staff. We didn't use the swimming pool, but it looked nice. Overall, some good things, but still a bit of a disappointment and never would've guessed that was a 4 star hotel. Not good value for money.

o pessoal era tão amigável, a senhora de gestão era tão impressionante e tão útil quando perdemos os nossos toalhas e a nossa tecla não iria funcionar, todo o processo foi tão rápido e eles eram tão amigáveis, Jamaica era muito amável e nos ajudou a entrar e sair e a ajudar quando queríamos um check-in mais tarde, muito barato para a noite e o quarto e banheiro estavam realmente limpos, certamente voltará!

Our stay may have been coloured by the rainy weather because in sunnier times the views from the Leigh Park Hotel would have been even better. The train station to Bath from Bradford upon Avon is very walkable but it is downhill from the hotel (some very steep bits) nearly all the way and after a busy day in Bath we elected to get a taxi back the walk back up that hill would have put a downer on the day (and I normally do 4 mile runs twice a week, so I am pretty fit!) The room we had was really big, as was the bathroom. The shower was really powerful and got warm almost immediately. The staff were really friendly and the the ambience of the hotel was classy. The breakfast area looking out over the grounds was really nice and I'd definitely like to sit there and enjoy a drink on a summer's evening. I managed to charge my electric car with the type 2 charging station. Unfortunately, it only delivered 7 kW so I only managed a small top up. The hotel breakfast was self service but the containers that were holding the food failed to keep it particularly warm. That is something that could be improved. Also the breakfast choice could have been a little wider (e.g. no tomatoes were offered as part of the English Breakfast). Having said that the breakfast tasted good. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again.

A localização é boa. O serviço é excelente. Mas os quartos e as comodidades são muito antigos e precisam de reparos e reformas. A bancada da pia do banheiro tem muitas manchas e parecia muito desconfortável. O bar de café não estava nada limpo.

O hotel está bem localizado quando visitamos amigos na bacia de Wootton - a recepção foi cortesia e eficiente no nosso check-in... pedimos um caminho de quarto dos elevadores e esta petição foi entregue. A sala estava espaçosa e a cama estava confortável.A ar condicionado funcionava perfeitamente, já que foi um pouco quente! A manhã seguinte, o pequeno-almoço tinha muitas opções e as mesas estavam limpas e limpas rapidamente.O pessoal no restaurante era Muito eficiente e educado.O check-in express também era bom.Em geral, UMA boa estadia e um BOM serviço.

This hotel has got high standards on cleanliness and service consistently. On a bitterly cold weekend the room was warm throughout. In fact very comfortable bed and no need for extra blanket. 2 small issues. The pillows were a bit lumpy but fine and the restarant did not serve evening meals to our liking but overall outstanding !!! Cannot wait to return.

Car park very busy, but managed to get a space. Pleasant check in experience. Room tired and bathroom needs updated. As we had a accessible room not enough places to put things and ended up leaving them on the floor. Breakfast was fine.

A cama confortável com algumas decorações e EU apreciei especialmente a atenção para detalhes, a partir do layout pensativo e um cartão de presente com refrescos complimentares (um bebe cada no seu pub) O pessoal merece especial atenção para a sua hospitalidade e profissionalismo quente, que foram acima e para além para garantir que a minha estadia era memorável, oferecendo recomendações locais úteis e acomodando todas as exigências com um sorriso. O hotel é a escolha perfeita para todos que procuram uma mistura de conforto, conforto e encanto.

For 2 people it is excellent for 3 people like being cheated. I had booked for 3 person accommodation which was higher price to stay for 2 persons. I received mail from hotel that for third person need extra bed, I did not ask for. when we checked in realise that so called bed was there. On that spring folding bed no one can sleep as it was not balanced and had to lay down. in deed i fell down and then decided not to sleep on that. later i realised hotel detected extra 25 GBP. which was/is not justified. the product which i did not use, hotel is imposing me and forcing me to pay for.

Receptionist in the morning was pleasant had issues in the hotel had to check in later . I asked for 2 double rooms which wasn’t actioned . When checking in later in the day after 4pm a different receptionist gave us 2 double rooms however she was not knowledgeable about the area nor if dinner was from the menu or buffet as she didn’t work in that department ! Miserable girl, hospitality definitely isn’t her forte . Breakfast starts at 8am however the hot breakfast wasn’t laid out till 8;30 and missed our train because of this as we had to rush . It’s imperative breakfast is served at the time stated . Staff were apologetic however this has happened before . Hotel very central and generally very pleasant stay . I would stay again .
