Nice entrance and lounge area with a bar and grill so was good to be able to eat and have a drink without leaving the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern with plenty power points and optional lighting Was impressed and a full breakfast to top it off. Would stay again. Thanks.

I recently stayed at the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge by Marston's Inns, and found it to be a clean and comfortable choice for accommodation. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness.

Was a good stay. Just a few things that didn’t work. Toilet roll holder is useless, as the toilet paper kept falling off the holder and I spent more of my time on the loo chasing the roll of paper haha. Also the tap in the bathroom sink is useless, you have this massive sink with the tap too close to the edge so when you wash your hands the bathroom counter top gets soaking wet as well as the floor. Lastly the bed wheels need locks 🤣 every time I sat on it to put my shoes on or whatever the bed moved and I had so many heart in mouth moments thinking I was going to land on the floor. Again spent time chasing my bed around the bedroom. Other than that it was clean, tidy and had so many electrical sockets it was fantastic.

Wonderful place for stay and the person owning the business is really great and is present on the site himself. Liked the hospitality and the stay was very comfortable, equipped with all amenities essential. Would highly recommend this place for stays.

Lovely big hotel. Had a delicious 3 course dinner and a great all you can eat buffet breakfast, all included in the price. Hotel is a bit dated but bed and pillows were very comfy and bathroom had a bath and a separate shower with good water pressure. I would say the only thing that lets it down is that the car park is a bit small for the amount of rooms that the hotel has

Stayed the moorings hotel Motherwell many times and the staff are excellent from reception to bar staff to the cleaning staff every one so pleasant always excellent food well done the moorings x

Quaint hotel with lots of charm and appeal. Located within easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling! Adele and her staff took great care of us and we would definitely stay again if we are back in Scotland! Just be forewarned that there is no elevator, so you will need to carry luggage up the stairs! They also serve a great full breakfast!
