I initially overlooked the peeling paint on the walls and the lack of disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste when I checked in. But then, at breakfast, I picked up a small steamed bun, and as I took a bite, I saw mold spots... that's just unacceptable! The chicken also tasted sour, which is something I absolutely cannot tolerate!

I stayed in room 8521, and the room was absolutely beautiful and exactly to my liking. It was clean, spacious, and completely free from any musty smell or cigarette odor, which made my stay very comfortable. Special thanks to Leo for helping me communicate with the taxi driver and for assisting in finding the necklace I accidentally left in the taxi until it was successfully recovered. I would also like to thank Lin Feng for helping arrange a larger room according to our needs right from the first day we checked in. Additionally, I would like to thank all the front desk staff for being friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with whatever I needed. I truly appreciate the housekeeping staff as well for cleaning the room thoroughly every day. This was a wonderful and memorable stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

My overall experience staying at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao Tower was excellent. The hotel boasts a prime location with expansive views, offering a tranquil yet grand atmosphere. From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the quality and elegance of a high-end hotel. The room was spacious and tidy, with well-maintained facilities and comfortable bedding that ensured a very high quality of sleep. The staff were professional and attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping, all were very welcoming and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with good quality food and a comfortable restaurant setting. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure vacations. The overall value for money is high, and I would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable; although the facilities were a bit old, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The lobby had a strong Christmas vibe. My return flight was late, and the check-in staff kindly helped me arrange a late check-out, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent; the Pudong Art Museum had a new exhibition, and it was within walking distance, saving me the hassle of traffic. Public transport was also very convenient, and there were plenty of options for dining out or ordering delivery. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai. This old-school five-star hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group really lived up to its reputation. The location is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road, the 'Paris of the East,' making it easy to check in even after enjoying Shanghai's nightlife. I especially loved the mousse cake at breakfast 🍰, absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, truly exceptional!

This trip to Shanghai was made perfect by an excellent hotel choice. As soon as we arrived, a bellhop practically ran to help us with our luggage and escorted us to check in. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. After check-in, hotel staff even helped take our bags to the room. On the way to the room, the service staff enthusiastically shared recommendations for local routes, delicious food, and fun things to do. Their service was incredibly thoughtful. Anytime they saw us, they'd greet us, offer directions, and help with any needs or problems. Plus, if you order takeout, a robot delivers it to your room! The room itself was spacious with a large floor-to-ceiling window offering views of the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Lujiazui 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). It was especially beautiful after the lights came on at night, creating a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel's location is superb, a prime spot near the Bund. Suzhou Creek is right downstairs; you can just walk along it for about 10 minutes to reach the Bund. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is also very close, just three blocks straight ahead, about a five to six-minute walk. If you get hungry at night, Ningbo Road is just one traffic light away, offering many great restaurants. For anyone visiting Shanghai, I highly recommend this hotel. The service, environment, and location are all top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

The house is being renovated, so for the weekend, I decided to stay overnight as a local resident of Shanghai. During the two years of the pandemic, I also took my child to many iconic local hotels to experience them. After considering factors such as comfort, location, cost-effectiveness, dining, service, opening hours, and overall quality, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends planning a trip to Shanghai. The staff are very attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is excellent, situated in North Bund, Hongkou District, which is not too noisy and offers easy access to various amenities. For those visiting Shanghai, there is a stand-up comedy show nearby that is definitely worth checking out. The dining options are plentiful, and you can easily reach Siji Minfu within walking distance. The North Bund City Terrace and the Waibaidu Bridge are also within walking distance. Last night, I took a stroll around the area and stood at the North Bund City Terrace. Seeing Shanghai and Pudong's Oriental Pearl Tower from this vantage point was truly breathtaking.

The hotel boasts excellent service from its front desk, rooms, and restaurants. The guest rooms are well-equipped, thoughtfully laid out, clean, and tidy. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the hotel also features a selection of Chinese and Western restaurants. The river-view rooms offer a fantastic perspective of the cruise terminal on the North Bund. With numerous dining options in the vicinity and convenient transportation, it's an ideal hotel for both leisure and business travelers.

The location is great; you can find the hotel directly by taking the elevator from the city train line, which is super convenient for catching early morning flights. The room was thoughtfully equipped with earplugs, and both the environment and hygiene were good. Guests staying at the hotel also get a discount on the buffet dinner, and the food was decent. The only thing is, I'm not sure why my room didn't have Wi-Fi connectivity. I could see Wi-Fi signals from many neighboring rooms, but just not from mine. 😂
