We booked room 270. The window was large and open, offering a stunning sea view. Although the staff didn’t speak English, we communicated easily using a translation app — it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything was clean, and the room had smart features. There were convenient light and curtain controls right next to the bed, which made our stay even more comfortable.
If you're planning a trip to the sea, this hotel has a truly luxurious view and a perfect location. It was both cozy and elegant. We're definitely ready to stay here again. Thank you!

We only stayed for 1 night but really enjoyed the experience. Due to the centralized heating system, our room was extremely hot and reached 29 degrees celsius even with the window open. We ended up calling the front desk at 4:30 a.m., and within 10 minutes, someone arrived with a large fan. She helped us set it up and adjust the temperature, and it quickly became comfortable enough for us to fall back asleep. Thank you for the quick assistance!

The natural scenery surrounding the B&B is truly breathtaking, and waking up to a different view each day is a truly delightful experience. Service: The host's warm hospitality made me feel right at home, and the service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The staff were friendly and always greeted every guest with a smile, making for a truly welcoming experience. Facilities: The rooms were fully equipped, clean, and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a truly restful sleep. The common areas are also well-equipped, offering a comfortable setting for both leisure and entertainment.

Everything was great, room is clean, stuff is friendly. During winter time the location is not great coz all the shops around are closed even KFC and Starbucks but this not hotel’s fault. The breakfast is a bit Chinese but foreigners also can find a lot of options to eat. The only thing I didn’t like is that during the breakfast there was a jar of Nutella but in fact that wasn’t Nutella just some cheap chocolate spread - just use another jar so people won’t be confused.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located right by the beach and commercial areas. There are many restaurants and several convenience stores within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We tried two of the restaurants inside the hotel — one offering upscale Chinese food and the other seafood buffet, both were excellent. Will definitely choose Shangri-La again if we come back to Qinghuangdao in the future.

We had a slight hiccup during check-in, and traveling with a child, I really didn't want any unpleasantness. However, thanks to the excellent service from Peach 🍑, everything was resolved smoothly. They never shied away from any issues that arose, always trying their best to offer a discount or a small gift to make my child happy. Sometimes, a hotel's quality isn't just about one person's opinion; if everyone could be a bit more considerate of guests, InterContinental would probably avoid a lot of problems! The bunk bed mattresses could definitely be softer; they were really firm, but my child still loved them, oh well!

Service is not good: parking is difficult, we are not allowed to park at the door, so we are asked to park in the underground garage. We circled the hotel twice, and it was a dead end to enter the underground. Who would have thought that it was an underground far away from the hotel, and we had to walk back to the hotel with luggage, **not**?
There is no guide or manual in the room, no introduction or relevant information, the most bizarre, I called the customer service number, but no one answered it seven or eight times, and it is the only one among all the hotels I have stayed in.
I clearly booked a deluxe double room, and the front desk told me that I would upgrade it to a deluxe double room for free. I took out the voucher and didn't say anything. I wanted a higher floor, but they said it was full, and there was only the bottom floor of this type of room. You are really good, so cruel! ! ! !

媽媽媽和女兒的浪漫This was my first time visiting Thaiwoo Town, and I chose the Nanshanli Hotel. Coming from Taizicheng Station, it's worth noting that Nanshanli Hotel only offers limited free shuttle services, not private transfers.
Upon arrival, there was quite a long queue for check-in. When it was my turn, I was a bit flustered because I wasn't familiar with mainland payment methods. Millie, the front desk attendant, immediately noticed and proactively came out to patiently and meticulously help me complete the process. I'm truly grateful! This left me with an excellent first impression of the hotel.
Walking into the room, my daughter immediately commented on how spacious it was, and opening the window revealed a direct view of the ski slopes. Although we came from Hong Kong and weren't quite used to the cold weather here yet, everyone was very excited.
The second point to note is that we arrived after 5 PM, so the counter for booking ski instructors was already closed. We then found an intermediate instructor, Wang XX, from the International Italian Ski Academy via a WeChat mini-program, and scheduled a lesson for 10 AM the next day. The mini-program showed a price of 980 yuan, but perhaps because it was a weekday, the actual payment was only 780 yuan, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the next morning, by 9:50 AM, the instructor hadn't contacted us, and I couldn't get a refund via WeChat, which made me very anxious. Fortunately, Ms. Gu at the ski instructor counter on the first floor of Nanshanli Hotel continuously helped me contact the instructor. The instructor claimed he hadn't checked his WeChat account and had therefore taken other clients, making him unable to teach my daughter. After Ms. Gu's persistent communication and efforts, she finally found us an excellent instructor, but the whole process delayed us by over two hours, which was indeed unpleasant.
Despite this, I still want to express special thanks to the two hotel staff members we encountered on this trip: Millie at the front desk for check-in, and Ms. Gu at the ski instructor counter on the first floor. Their enthusiastic help ultimately brought this little incident to a good end.

LLibraKKKThe environment is pleasant, though the resort area is quite small and pales in comparison to Aranya in Beidaihe. The hotel's interior design is lovely and very Japanese in style. The courtyard features many beautiful hydrangeas. The minibar being constantly restocked is a definite plus. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant, where you can choose one of three à la carte buffet options; the food was decent. While polite, the staff's attitude felt rather cold and indifferent. There were no perks like early check-in, late check-out, or room upgrades, which is fine, as the hotel isn't obligated to provide them.
What really ticked me off was an incident during check-out. The day before, the butler had explicitly told us that two bottles of body lotion would be left at the front desk for us to collect when we checked out. However, when checking out, the front desk didn't mention it at all until I brought it up. Then, the staff acted as if I was trying to swindle them out of a major freebie, going through a ridiculously elaborate verification process, only to eventually hand over just *one* bottle. It made me feel like I was begging for a gift. I almost decided to just drop it, but the more I thought about it, the more annoyed I became. They were the ones who offered it in the first place, yet they made me feel like I was trying to take advantage. So, I insisted on receiving the two body lotions that were initially promised. I've stayed at many hotels that offer complimentary parting gifts upon check-out, and those always cheerfully enhanced my overall satisfaction. This experience, however, left me absolutely furious. They seriously need to train their staff on proper communication protocols.

LLexiaoyao626The room equipment is indeed too old and has been eliminated by the times. The small bed is surprisingly narrow. It is especially inconvenient to take a shower in the rain. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. Half of the outside is glass, which is awkward and dangerous. This must be improved as soon as possible to eliminate hidden dangers. The curtains are the kind that can only be made up in ordinary small hotels.
The waiter is very good! Especially the little girl who answers the phone at the front desk switchboard is very cultured. Hearing her gentle voice and polite answers to questions on the other end makes people feel like home. The hardware here is seriously insufficient, and it is indeed compensated by software.

It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

Zhili Governor-General's Office is 1.8 kilometre from the hotel .a short walk to many food and shopping canter .staffs are extremely helpful and friendly .their manager provided many travel information for us.we did approach them later at night when it is less busy for the staff,They were always patient.by the way,the room is clean and the breakfast is good ,If you're not used to Chinese food,you can choose the bread ,jam ,butter,fruit ,coffee ,egg and some cold dish.you can taste HUNDUN, like Chinese dumplings. What makes me uncomfortable is that their carpets are a bit worn out,Overall the hotel is very nice and good value.

The ski slopes here are professional and offer a wide variety of choices, perfect for both beginners and experts to enjoy. The hotel I stayed at was conveniently located, and the rooms were warm and comfortable, with some very thoughtful touches. There's a diverse selection of dining options in the town, and after dinner, heading back to the hotel for a hot spring soak is just divine. I can't wait to go back again!

GGuest UserI recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken.
The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work.
I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied.
The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service.
I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone.
In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement.

GGuest UserThe swimming pool, breakfast and dinner of this hotel are all good! It is very close to Tongzhou, so our family has stayed here many times.
During the holiday, the hotel was almost fully booked, and the waiter was a little too busy. The hotel manager personally carried our luggage to the room, which was very enthusiastic! There was a shy Allen at the front desk (I think the name of the brand name is this) who felt like a newcomer and was serious! There was a waitress in a black suit in the restaurant who worked after breakfast and dinner, but the service was always enthusiastic and patient!
