Location
The hotel is located near Gyeongpo and Gangmun Beach. Buses 202 and 202-1 run between Gangneung Station and Jungang Market (they run infrequently, so please check schedules in advance).
Seeteabus can also be used to reach Anmok Cafe Street and the BTS bus station. A stroll along the lake to the Arte Museum and Heo Gyun Memorial Park is also a great option.
Facilities
The room was clean and well-equipped, with fresh water and towels provided daily. The Wi-Fi password is located on the router.
Services
If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk.
Are u planning to go or stay late at Legoland? This Hey Chuncheon hotel is a perfect place to stay for anyone to rest and relax. I liked comfortable bed and room and very affordable price. I was surprised by self zone an complimentary breakfast was offered. It was amazing place. I'd like to visit again and I will recommend to my friends ☺️
It's clean and the staff are friendly. I wish the breakfast menu was a bit more diverse. The only downside is some noise from being right next to the road.
Great location nearby Express bus terminal, bank, supermarkets and beach. But the bed wasn’t comfortable. The room smells not so pleasant, and not so cozy. One more thing I pretty appreciate is early check-in, concerning low-season in Sokcho in April, we haven’t been checked-in at 11:00 am, so we were forced to hang out with baggage. Huge negative as for me!
The room was facing the ocean, so the sunset in the morning was really nice.
But there were a lot of things I regretted. I planned to stay for 2 nights, but I only stayed for 1 night. Of course, there was no refund. It was a 3-person room, but the bed was an old spring bed that was uncomfortable because it rocked back and forth. It was chilly at night in March, and the building itself was chilly and the room was cool. It was ondol, but the outside air was chilly. There was no space to organize clothes, and the indoor facilities were very old and not managed, so no matter how clean they were, the interior was old enough that it was hard to tell. It was called a hotel, but it was at the level of a motel, and even the towels and bedding were old and dirty, so I guess it was a little uncomfortable. The towels were about the size of a foot towel, and they put some kind of plastic on the mattress, so it rustled every time I moved, and the door didn't close properly, so I had to force it open. The indoor floor was also very old, and the wallpaper was all torn. It really seemed like the worst hotel if it wasn't for the ocean view. There is a big difference between the photo and the actual hotel. If I were the owner, this is definitely not a hotel I would be proud to show off. It was a room facility that I wouldn't even want to take pictures of. It was a hotel with many regrettable points. There was no space to hang or put clothes in the bathroom.
Being able to stay here for this price was great for a long trip.
The intercity bus terminal is nearby and within walking distance.
There's also a convenience store nearby, which was convenient. If I had to say something, I would have liked a hanger, as I didn't need a gown.
Thank you very much.
The room was cute and well-cleaned. The shower, sink, and toilet are all in the same area. The partition is short, so water flows all the way to the toilet when you shower. The amenities had a lovely scent and were very relaxing! There was bottled water available at the front desk, which was convenient! The front desk staff spoke English and Korean and were very kind. They also kept my luggage at the front desk, but they didn't have any exchange vouchers, so perhaps they don't keep it often. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, but I found the prices to be quite high considering the quality of the food, as they are in a tourist area.
It was cleaner than I expected, and it was close to the beach, which was nice! It had a semi-ocean view. It was affordable and in great condition. I'd definitely visit again! I recommended it to a friend going to Gangneung. The photo shows the ocean in front of the accommodation.
Since I used it in the summer, I was able to use the swimming pool, which was really nice, and there was also a coin karaoke, so it was really nice to sing a little bit. The room was really clean, the air conditioning worked well, and it was really nice. The TV was bigger and there was Netflix, so I watched it for hours during the Yeoncham Festival. If you stay a few more nights, they will provide towels. The hot water came out really well, and they even gave me two generous packs of toilet paper! I lived in Gangneung for 6 years and didn't know where the accommodation was good, but this place has the best value for money. I will come here again! I would 100% visit again.
This is the place I stay every time I go to Sokcho. I'm satisfied with the owner's kindness and the value.

AAnonymous UserTo be honest.. all's good. Just 2 mini grumbles..
1. I suppose because they do generally allow their guests to smoke in the room, i can still smell the tabacco lingering. Not the best smell through the nights there.
2. No lifts. Thankfully my luggage is not heavy this round so its still manageable else i could foresee an issue lugging it up and down the stairs.
Now.. the pros..!
1. It is very clean. Bathroom attached which its great.
2. Room size is okie for 2. Has tv, wifi, lots of plugs.. facial care as well actually.. and a rather nice-smelling diffuser.
Spacious even, to put 1 luggage. Theres a heater and aircon unit ( of cuz not needed in this winter season)
3. Bathroom is spacious. There's towels provided. Shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste even! Abundant hot water.
4. A stone throw away from the bus terminal. Less than 5mins walk. Loads of eateries, cafes and even a diaso. Oh and the market.
5. Small town.. so everywhere's walkable. Quiet, slow-paced town. Awesome to chill here.
Ssunbeam98It is in a great location, literally in front of the beach.
There is a self check-in available at the front desk, but for some reason it didn’t work so ended up talking to the reception staff anyway, which is okay.
While the main features of the room were clean (bedding, bathroom…), the air con unit was completely black with mould inside. Unfortunately I have some mould allergies, and so I had some reactions overnight.
The room also had some strange marks on the wall.. I think that the quality of the room looks better in the photos than the reality…
While I did book this place a little bit last minute (a few weeks in advance, but during peak time), it was overpriced for what it was (150,000₩ per night with a coupon).
It’s certainly not the worst place in the world, but I probably wouldn’t stay again if I had to choose.
GGuest UserI stayed there for three days and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and the service was great. They even provided coffee and iced drinks. Breakfast was also provided. I didn't get to use it because I was late, but I liked the location. There's a bus that takes you to Seoraksan in 10 minutes, which was very convenient. It was also very quiet. I think I'll stay here again.
MMichelle.SHThe boss was really kind and introduced a lot of interesting attractions and pretty cafes to visit in Chuncheon 🥰
The rooms were very spacious and the beds were big and warm so I could stay comfortable.
The location is also very convenient, both the bus and the subway are very convenient, and the high-speed bus station back to Seoul is about 12 minutes' walk, so it's easy to move even if you have luggage.
Although there are many dormitories around, I think the warm consideration and kindness of the boss is the biggest advantage of this dormitory. The cost performance is also better than other hotels
It's a good choice to stay for a few days, and this time I stayed for 6 nights and felt it was really the best choice!
Next time I come to Chuncheon, I definitely want to stay here again 😀
GGuest UserWe loved the hotel, lovely view from the window, just a quick walk to train station and the free shuttle bus for high1 ski resort. The only thing that let it down was a very hard bed!
YYouyudebaixiongVery satisfied, the boss is kind

世世界旅行The hotel is easily accessible from the Gangneung express bus and KTX station, and it's also easy to get to the sea from the hotel, making it a very convenient location. The room was clean, I could watch Netflix, and it was cleaned daily. There was even a bathtub, which was very relaxing. For the price, the service was excellent. There's also a famous kalguksu restaurant nearby.

GGuest UserIt is located just off the bus terminal outside Yuanzhou City.
I arrived at the bus terminal around 21:00 and headed for the motel from there. Haraju was my first place to visit, but it was helpful because the motel was in an easy-to-understand location.
Since I arrived at night, the front desk was out of the seat and had to wait for a while. Even if I called the number on the guide board, I couldn't help but do it.
I was at a loss for a moment, but the front desk basically seems to be manned at night, so if you wait, the staff will come back.
Also, I think the building is old and the scale is small, but I glimpsed the cleaning of the room with a 2 person system and the cleaning was firmly done with a deck brush.
However, it is the cheapest motel in the surrounding area.
The quality of the facilities is high for the price, but you may be shocked if you expect it.
If you are used to going to a motel in a Korean region, you should be able to spend comfortably without any problems.
GGuest UserThe hotels location was great, walking distance to chuam beach, the bat cave and McDonald’s haha. The hotel was a little hard to find as the entrance is not on the Main Street but rather towards the back.
The hotel room was nice though a little dark. It would be nice if the shower was separated from the bath tub. There was cigarettes smoke coming from the bathroom and it was pretty strong. Woke up almost suffocated by cigarette smoke in the morning but besides that, it was a nice hotel.
